  1. Is it possible that anyone other than a Nebraska fan would believe this BS they are trying to sell? They better hope they covered their tracks because sorry there isn't a shot in hell that all of this was done without anyone at Nebraska knowing the nature of the investigation. https://www.omaha.com/huskers/football/arrest-warrant-signed-for-maurice-washington-nebraska-officials-detail-contact/article_6f9a6c2e-4708-51f4-9ee1-dc637a7abc15.html
  2. Usually when you get to this point in the season unless someone totally drops the ball you can go home with any little mistake or even if your dish was fine but not anything spectacular. As for who wins I would be fine with anyone but Sara as well. Based on the previews next week it looks like multiple chefs have an "oh shit moment" and don't serve great food.
  3. This especially with Title IX. I do find it odd that Iowa State and Wisconsin are the only two schools in the B1G/B12 that don't have baseball teams.
  4. I agree this is a load of crap just as it is when the unions pay homeless people to hold signs in front of new developments that aren't being build by union workers.
  5. I completely agree with this. But the problem always comes down to it's easy to disagree with something and then never explain why or HOW someone would change it. A lot of time people just get angry about shit because it's easy without actually digging into why things are the way they are. Are some CEO's overpaid? Sure. Do they get sweetheart golden parachutes when they leave or are let go? Absolutely. But to each person "overpaid" to one person could be $500K and to another could be $20M, I just chalk this up as CEO's being an easy target to those outside the business world just as coaches salaries are to people that don't like/watch sports.
  6. What should they be paid? Is $1M enough? How about $10M? Where do you draw the line? And what industries are allowed to highly compensate their CEO's or employees? Pro athletes? Coaches? Doctors? Accountants? Teachers? Janitors? Who do you feel should be able to be highly compensated? I'll hang up and listen.
  7. We got our kids one for xmas. We play Mario cart and Mario party as a family. Good family fun (although I think my wife is now more addicted then our kids)
  8. Alpha Emily wore the pants in the relationship before the accident and Howard was the unknowing love and support she needed at home to balance her crazy life. She needed and wanted that love and support in her search to regain her memory. It will be interesting now that Alpha Howard knows the truth how he handles the fact that "the love of his life" had lied to him for so long and whether or not he takes offense to that. I think the kiss with Prime Emily and the classic "look back" might signal that everything won't be kosher with his actual wife back in the Alpha world.
  9. I don't have a problem with Mira being in the building I have a problem with Ian being left alone with her. Why not I don't know have 2 or 3 other guards in there that stop him from allowing her to get out. That said I will overlook the awful plot hole because the shit is getting good. Clare, Badass Howard, and Nadia tearing shit up I am here for. I hope quayle dies as at this point he is useless as a character on the show. Will be interesting to see how good Howard reacts to his wife now that he knows she was a spy and lied to him for so long. I think good Howard might not be too happy with all that. So fucking cold.
  10. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. It looks on a number of fronts that Nebraska either knew about the specifics from the start and didn't care/tried to cover for one of their players, was "made aware of the situation" and decided not to ask any further questions about it, or they were lied to from the jump and didn't do their homework. None of those options look great, except for those that will defend Nebraska football no matter what they do or don't do. No matter the outcome of the criminal case texting your ex GF a video of her being sexually assaulted when she was underage with the message "remember this hoe?" certainly is defensible if you ask me regardless if he was involved in the assault or making the video. Not a good look at all.
  11. I couldn't even imagine being a business manager, FA, accountant, or lawyer to dumb famous rich person. The amount of times one would have to stop a client from doing something monumentally stupid would be a lot of work.
  12. Police want to identify a woman they say is badgering college women to date her single son. The Baltimore Sun reports that a woman in her mid-50s has been visiting the campus of Towson University in Maryland pestering female students. The mom reportedly approaches her victims, shows them a photo of her eligible son and asks if they are interested in dating him. Police say the mom entered two on-campus buildings on three separate dates to play Cupid. The Towson Police Department shared an email with Yahoo Lifestyle from Chief Charles Herring that alerts the community to the mother’s actions. “The Towson University Police Department is investigating three related incidents occurring in the Cook Library and Center for the Arts buildings on February 6 and 7,” read the email. “Students have reported being approached by an older female who attempted to show them a picture on her cellphone and ask if they were interested in dating her son. The subject of interest is described as a female, appearing to be in her 50s, with glasses, wearing blue jeans and a striped long-sleeve shirt with red trim along the bottom, a multicolored scarf, brown shoes and carrying a dark-colored coat.” A police spokesperson tells Yahoo Lifestyle that, for now, the mother is not suspected of committing a crime; they just want her to stop. So might her son. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/police-searching-mother-whos-allegedly-harassing-college-women-date-son-190612490.html
  13. Odd question that I have always wondered but never looked to find the answer. I assume all large clubs do it but what is the purpose of training out of the country? I assume the most is weather related? Cold shitty weather not great for recovering from injury? etc. Am I missing anything else?
  14. and her childhood was pretty F'ed up as well. from wiki-
  15. That was pretty much assumed from the jump. And also probably explains why there weren't any nudes of her in the release.
  16. Not nearly as great as the Utah comeback but from last night- Hopefully the tourney will have more of these ending this year.
  17. I agree, although for however brief it was nice to see her realize that it's "just a game" when she nominated Tom and when he left the house. It probably won't last long but it was nice to see and she has made it way longer than I had anticipated. Her annoying and crazy is different from most women however, she has ZERO self confidence and it's really crazy to see coming from a world class athlete.
  18. Sara's awful decision to use a box mix (seriously how fucking stupid do you have to be?) was saved by Michelle's equally dumb decision to try and make something that can't be made properly in the amount of time they were given. Just plain stupid. They are the two weakest chefs left so I do hope it comes down to them for who goes home for good. The Muhammad Ali challenge seems like an interesting idea.
  19. I meant the downside for Bezos not the idiots at AMI.
  20. Aside from the admission that the pictures are real and the possibility if they are released people might laugh at them. I see no other downside in Bezos calling them out. None. He gets out ahead of any story, calls their bluff, and makes them defend their actions all the while still being the richest guy on the planet. Please tell me what I'm missing?
  21. That would make sense. Hard to believe it's almost already over but I kind of dig that everything is sped up. Also does anybody know what they are allowed to do on the ipad?
