  1. I would guess they all have some experience. But it's not as easy as many think. I am sure they all know how to take a drink order, a dinner order, remove plates, refill water, etc. but in the real world actual service and the specific way that you are to take an order, seat positions, table numbers, etc. and exactly how a chef or manager wants service to run can be worlds apart.
  2. Yeah, normally whomever they give a little screen time or back story in the first 5 minutes of the show is who goes home. Obviously without seeing anything in the next episode the main candidates to get the ax based only on last night's edit are- Kentucky girl who's running the FOH on the 3rd team Asian (FOH) overconfident douche with glasses (FOH) pablo quiet Executive chef dude freaking out at Asian girl for touching the tickets Blonde All that said even if blonde serves a shitty dish there is no way she should go home, as if it wasn't for her at least half trainning the FOH they would have been even more fucked than I assume they already are.
  3. I don't know what to think about the Busch Beer stuff. Part of me thinks it's funny and then the other part thinks it's sad. Should be a good game tonight.
  4. I normally agree but knew after the quickfire it was going to have to be spread over two episodes. It sucks for last night's episode but pretty sure next week will make up for it. All three teams have made MASSIVE errors that you just don't do in restaurant wars. And all of those chefs have watched the show before they should know better. All three of the teams FOH are going to be shit shows which will of course fuck the kitchens. It's going to be a blood bath and after hearing Tom basically say that at judge's table next week should be really great. That said it's pretty fucking shitty that they were still painting 30 minutes before they were set to open. The FOH chef should always do a simple but good dish, nothing spectacular just something that you can pump out in your sleep, is easy to prep, and make to order. They should help the other chefs with prep and then give themselves a good 2 hours setting up the dinning room and training the FOH staff. You can obviously go home if you fuck up but it's also the easiest job during service if you have everyone prepared.
  5. You picked a shitty Miami team that was going to play Wisconsin in 40 degree weather? One of the easiest picks of the bowl season was Wisconsin.
  6. Can't wait to see how excited the Hurricanes are to play in 40 degree weather on a shitty baseball field.
  7. Let's win something first.....
  8. If you are looking for a kid friendly show that is good for the whole family, The Netflix original-The Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russell as St. Nick is really well done. Very campy but enjoyable.
  9. Agree 100%. Not that I can blame him for taking advantage of the fame but it seems to have changed him.
  10. I feel a lot better having them in 2nd than Man City but still A LOT of games left.
  11. No worries he will sub them out in the 87th minute so they get some rest.....
  12. Completely agree. Like he said multiple times on air he had the greatest job in the world and threw it all away because of his love for drugs. It's also pretty clear he is dealing with a ton of personal demons that he has never truly dealt with. His Dad, relationship with Dana, etc. on top of his substance abuse issues.
  13. Here's her post show interview with EW.com She still doesn't get it even after the fact- So you were rooting for Mike to beat Kara at the fire making then? I helped Mike practice his fire that day! So, first of all, on Jabeni, I was the primary fire-maker. And then on the merge tribe after Carl left, I was the primary fire-maker. And I actually was extremely close to declining Nick’s offer to take me to the final three and putting myself to fire. And let me explain why. I think that with the new fire twist, whoever’s taken to the final, you are automatically put into a weak position, where you’re viewed differently. And that’s not what you want your perception to be when you’re going to the end, because regardless of what you’ve done before, it just puts a cloud over you. And Dalton, I was literally so close to just being like, “Thank you, Nick. I appreciate that so much. But, Jeff, I haven’t won an immunity yet. I really want to spend my time in the fire and I want to earn way to the end.” And so, that was one of the things at the end that I almost regret not doing it, because then I obviously was willing to throw my hat in the ring with other moves. And so, if I were to do it again, I would’ve done that. And it may not have swayed the votes for the million, but I just would’ve felt more satisfied, I think, in getting to the end on my own. https://ew.com/tv/2018/12/20/survivor-david-vs-goliath-angelina-keeley-finale/
  14. Any thoughts on the preview for next season? -Looks like Exile Island is getting made even worse (longer) -4 returning players including Kelley Wentworth
  15. That along with Mike "digging" in the sand looking for the clue while he was drinking wine was hilarious. 100% I love Davie even more after he explained to her the definition of a "selfless act". Yeah, I was worried after Gabby brought that up at the last tribal the reunion was going to be all about Angelina and poor her she lost because she's a girl. It pains me to do this but at least she acknowledged that she might have chanced a couple of things she did during the season.
  16. A news publication is going out of business? Shocking I tell you.
  17. This 7 year old makes $22 million a year doing this-
  18. Agreed, especially not compared to the fucking spread the Makers' Mark chef had laid out for them.
  19. No, I got that I meant had we seen him before or were they just setting up a future story line by showing how they communicated. (Haven't watched last night yet)
  20. If Trout played for the Red Sox or Yankees he would be the greatest baseball player of all time, no questions asked.
  21. I still can't believe they allowed that dude to use a third of the teams budget on his fucking lamb. I would have told him to put half of it back. Not to mention it wasn't like the serving size was all that big.
  22. I agree with this. No way Mike or Kara win as they would have been much more prominently featured in the edit. Davie, Angelina, Nick, and Alison are the only ones with a legit shot based on the edit. And Angelina is just in there because the Producers know she has said and done a lot of dumb and annoying shit which is good for TV. Two hour show, there are 3 days left, one immunity challenge and tribal per day with no reward challenge (usually) The very beginning of the finale is usually an immunity comp with tribal right after. With this few of people they don't do a lot of camp chit chat just comp/tribal and on to the next day. One comp and tribal every half an hour plus the last tribal which takes up the last 30 minutes- First 10 minutes of the reunion show is Jeff reading the votes of the winner.
  23. Agree that sucks but it's been pretty proven throughout all of the seasons if you can avoid doing desert it's probably a good idea. That said aside from getting fucked by not having enough lemons that isn't the type of desert you do when it's hot and humid as shit out. Sucks for her but she was pretty much screwed from the start with their cooking set up.
