  1. Do you think his actions got more erratic after the hit?
  2. Reading this, and seeing his implosion, makes me feel bad for the guy. He might have been a dick before the Burfict hit, but not on the post-hit level that screams TBI related mental illness. I hope he can get the help he needs before it gets worse.
  3. Going to be a glorious off-season for Boston sports radio. Brady as a free agent is going to lead to breathtaking calls and the hottest of takes. The defense looked good early against shit competition. They were adequate to good against any team a bit better than shit. The offense sucked starting in OTAs when Brady didn't attend to start getting to know his new receivers. WHile he did the same last season, he still had another security blanket in Gronk. Then when Andrews and Wynn went down early, I knew they were gonna struggle. Wynn came back, but wasn't enough to make up for losing Andrews-- OL struggled all year.
  4. Watching the all-22 you get to miss the inane commentary.
  5. Totally makes sense. Thank you.
  6. I was looking over Tim's Boots website and came across the Cowtown brand. Seems to be about half of the styles are made in El Paso and the other half Mexico with really reasonable prices. Does anyone have experience with Cowtown Boots?
  7. I like my Cueros, but the last is a little narrow for me. Took quite a while to break in, but they're fine now. Consider ordering a wide if you trend that way.
  8. I stumbled across this one: Montana Boots. Looks like an older Mexican company that adopted the direct to consumer model.
  9. Yeah, it's what RTIC does. I believe they're made in separate facilities though. Not sure where I heard that exactly, and don't care enough to look it up, but I think it was from Hedrick. Regardless, my response was to NoName and suggestion to just order both and return one.
  10. It depends on your foot. For me, Cueros go on more easily, but Tecovas fit better once on. Order both, keep the one she likes better.
  11. Looks like an expanded duffel line. Probably some sort of upgrade and price increase on the current ones and a new canvas version.
  12. Another new direct to consumer Austin-based hecho brand: https://chisos.com Priced well above Cuero and Tecovas... $495 for either style. No width options.
  13. It's always said "bovine" lining on their boots. That isn't new.
  14. Tecovas Square Toes are available for order. Not quite a kleenex box, but still too wide for my tastes.
  15. I'm looking into the ceramic Kamado market. Spent the summer using an Akorn Jr. steel kamado after only ever having used a New Braunfels side smoker. I liked it, used it 2-3x per week. What is the best bang for the buck? Is BGE significantly better than Kamado Joe or Primo? Should I just look for a end of season deal on whatever ceramic they have at the local hardware store?
  16. I tried them on last time I was in Austin. The seemed on par quality-wise and actually fit me a little better; my high instep makes getting on Tecovas difficult.
  17. Exotics went up $40 looks like. Time to look at Allen's house brand.
  18. How do they fit size wise? I wear between 10.5D to 11EE depending on brand wear 11D in sneakers.
  19. I don't have enough experience to give solid advice. I am going to look at exotic prints next time I'm in Austin. As long as they are leather, sturdy, and look close enough, that's what I'll do. I expect to pay $50-$60 for that. If I can't find any, I'll continue buying from North Star Leather. He does good work; uses leather from the Red Wing tannery.
  20. I hope they charge double for them... see if those kleenex box wearing assholes REALLY want square toes.
