  1. Do you need 24/7 recordings? Almost every doorbell cam will store video snippets, triggered by movement, on the cloud. Very few cams will store 24/7.
  2. That's a sinkhole!?! We are again falling behind Asia in the sinkhole race. They are doing it faster, deeper and cheaper. The U.S is not investing enough in sinkhole infrastructure. The U.S cannot be competitive in the sinkhole economy until we stop partisan politics and focus on the important issues. Even Thailand is ahead of the U.S:
  3. Feels like the show runs out of steam in the last two episodes. Also, Clare Daines acting in this show is comprised of 50% shaking and 50% shocked face
  4. Movie is a lot of fun, as expected. Go see it
  5. Then you won't get another Predator movie until 2040, when they reboot it. Look what happened with Furiosa/Mad Max - it made some money but not enough. That's it for Mad Max movies. It's over.
  6. Looks badass. Getting great reviews. It's currently at 91% on Rotten Tomatoes If you have ever said "How come they don't make movies like (Predator/Aliens/Dredd/Gladiator/Edge of Tomorrow)", go see this movie. This movie needs to make money so that more awesome actions movies get made. Review quotes: "It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s packed with gnarly kills—and it truly wants you to feel every bone-crunching moment in your bones. This is the Predator theatrical experience we’ve been waiting for." "Rest assured, though: even with the softer rating, Badlands remains every bit as violent as the rest of the franchise."
  7. Still enjoying the strange mix of comedy and dread. There's so much that could be true in his conspiracy theory and so much that seems totally wrong.
  8. I checked recently on some out of the way pyramids and they were still prohibiting climbing.
  9. The new bus hub system for LASA sucks. You either live close by one of the new hubs or "too bad, good luck".
  10. That was a delightful 30 mins. Hoping it stays strong
  11. 100% agree. The combination of innocence, strong morals in some areas and remorseless killing is interesting. The basement scene was great.
  12. Sold our house in NW Austin and moved to a higher end condo community. Also love it. If you go the condo/apt route, make sure it has a strong and involved community. A place with an involved board and residents who care about the place. That also helps with the social gatherings and friendliness. Construction isn't that good, so you will likely have to deal with repairs the first year. For me, it's worth it. I'm happy everyday I don't have to fix another broken sprinkler head and someone else deals with the pool.
  13. Let's hope that Spielberg has a lot of friends
  14. The trailers for this movie have been horrible. The first set were "It's quirky! Leo makes a phone call and they hang up on him!" The next set were wall to wall action. They will need strong word of mouth to make any money.
  15. That was an interesting take by Khloe's parents. I wish the documentary had dug into it. I agree that it wouldn't seem to benefit them, but at the same time, all of the people in the documentary seem to be starved for attention and entertainment.
