  2. Presented without comment.
  3. Well, I guess Air Force has the best defense in the country.
  4. That's almost a world record. World record is 8.95m = 29 ft 4.25 in (1991) Olympic record is 8.9m = 29ft 2.39 in (1968). So basically, that jump of 29-3.5 would've won every Olympic Gold medal ever. That's insane.
  5. Super Paul Mullins gets his hat trick in stoppage time to take him to I believe 31 goals on the year. Dude from Notts has 40 (impressively, none of these are penalties. 40 matches the previous National League season record). Never thought I'd be googling the National League Golden Boot race, but alas.
  6. Red Dragons up on Oldham 4-1 in the 83' Goals from Eoghan O'Connell Super Paul Mullen X2 and Elliott Lee. Likely going 3 points up on Notts with still a game in hand.
  7. She scored or assisted on every point in the 4th quarter and I think 70% for the entire game. Absolutely ridiculous.
  8. OSU Coach's dad is doing the color commentary.
  9. Of course it comes back after I leave.
  10. Unfortunately, they mostly stopped this during COVID, but they may have restarted it since I left.
  11. Can't believe I just found this thread. Lived in Japan for 2 years, just moved back this past summer. Miss it every day. Even still have my ICOCA card If you go back, definitely need to do one day in Hiroshima and one day in Miyajima. Did you guys use the goshuincho temple books to collect each temple's calligraphy stamps?
  12. Clark is ridiculous. 40 point triple double, geez.
  13. Opinions: Nagelsmann vs Poch vs Other?
  14. Actually, they were right. It's not worth sending to.
  15. I imagine the student corral will be waving blown up pictures of his mug shot. Whether you agree or not, students trying to be wild and crazy will probably at least think of it.
  16. Basketball as a sport is setup for programs that have advantages to bounce back pretty quickly. With consistent roster turnover, NIL, transfer portal, etc, a new coach in year 1 can build a talented roster from scratch and compete. That's not the case is football, where a couple of bad seasons can start a bad spiral. So long answer to say, yes, if we get a final four this year (first in 20 years), I'll definitely take that for 3-4 years of Terry as head coach. If he doesn't perform up to standards, a new coach in 3-4 years has a chance to rebuild the roster and hit the gas from the start. Plus there is no "gotta get him now" coach out there. Every coach on our list won't be more unobtainable in 3-4 years. And there might even be more names that coach their way onto our wanted list.
  17. How does a team qualify for nationals? Nationals are in Gulf Shores, AL this year and next, which is less than an hour from me. Would be awesome to go watch if we qualify!
  18. So you skipped last season, huh?
  19. From the article, Ruiz deftly trying to sum up the NCAA (quote unedited):"Not only is the in violation of the constitution, it’s also retarded."
  20. Where do they come up with this BS? It literally takes 5 minutes of research. In 1988, when they were handed their punishments from the NCAA for recruiting violations, the NCAA president transitioned from Walter Byer (in position since 1951) to Dick Schultz. Byer was born in Kansas City, MO, went to Rice for a year, transferred to U Iowa, served in the military, was a news reporter in the Midwest, sports editor, then Big 10 administrator before being named the first NCAA executive director. Schultz was born in Iowa, high school coach in Iowa, head baseball coach at U Iowa, head basketball coach at U Iowa, AD at Cornell, AD at Virginia, then NCAA executive director. Byer was at Rice for one year, and that's the only tie either has to the entire state of Texas, much less the University of Texas. It's amazing to me the BS they convince themselves to believe.
  21. They also hid the fact that they had signed him while the QB battle was still ongoing. If they had waited until the QB competition was over and then decided to sign the starting QB, that's one thing. But by signing him, not announcing it, creating content with him, while reporting on the QB competition.... It introduced a suspicion of bias. I think they would've been fine if they had just waited to sign him.
