  1. Fun 2-2 draw with preseason Chelsea today
  2. I have a niece named Neveah (Hispanic, not white, surprisingly, I know). Phonetically, she is Neh-vay-yah.
  3. I saw other reports that fee could get as high as €20 million, probably with performance add ons or sell on clauses or etc
  4. I'm about to hit my 12th year in the military, which comes with a little pay raise as long as the pay people don't fuck it up. You can expect my contribution to go up once that hits
  5. Keep asking. He'll get tired of his break eventually. Pleasepleaseplease.gif

Long game. Klopp hadn't stepped down from Liverpool yet when we rehired Gregg.
  7. It's happening? Fox Sports post-game reporting Gregg is OUT!
  8. How do I enable 2FA on mobile? Not finding it in the settings
  9. I hear Karen Key Largo knows some nice friendly Asians that do all of her computer- stuff that she can recommend
  10. I think it's pretty obvious that we're just waiting for the end of the MLS season so that we can hire the guy who coached the team that finishes 10th (or maybe we'll shoot for the stars and go for the guy that finishes 9th!)
  11. This sounds awesome. Count me in! I haven't played any football games in the past several years, so I'll need some practice, but I'm in.
  12. Not sure if you made that up off the top of your head, but that exact guy actually does exist. https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/fabian-hurzeler-who-is-st-pauli-s-us-born-coach-former-bayern-munich-youth-player-22956 Houston born Fabian Hurzeler just took St Pauli back up to the Bundesliga and was just hired by Brighton, becoming the youngest premier league manager ever at the ripe age of 31.
  13. Hey guys, does anyone know if Bevo was at the introduction? I'm really interested to see if Bevo and Schloss have a natural bond and if Schloss willingly reaches out. Bevo is a huge part of our university and our athletics programs so if he has an instant affinity for Coach Schloss, I think that will speak volumes to our recruits. If anyone could, please take and post video of their initial encounter. Any still shots of Coach Schloss petting Bevo would also be appreciated - would prefer if taken from side so I can see as much as possible of both their faces. Edit: damn it, that's what I get for not reading the entire thread. Da Fino beat me to it literally by several days. That's what I get for thinking I'm funny lol
  14. I think, in her head, what she was looking for was something more like Florida-FSU. Or maybe UNC-Duke. But then she unknowingly stumbled onto a perfect comparison
  15. Anytime! Hope you have a great trip. It was around 100 yen per dollar when I was there. Made the conversion in my head easy when I was trying to figure out how much I was spending. If you need cheap and easy souvenirs, hit up a Daiso; it's basically a Japanese Dollar Store. If no price on it, then it's 100 yen, some things will be 200 or 300 yen. We bought Japanese fans, chopsticks, coloring/sticker books, all sorts of stuff. Now everything will be cheaper than a dollar given the conversion rate. Also, don't convert money at the airport. They will not give you the best conversation rate. If you want the cheapest rate, take American cash and use the exchange machines at 7 eleven/Lawson's/Family Mart.
  16. Gosh this makes me miss Japan. For dinner, Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki is my favorite food of all time. If it's baseball season, definitely catch a Carps game. The energy around Japanese baseball is DIFFERENT. Tickets can be hard to find, but if you plan far enough in advance, can maybe buy some online. This might be tough because when I did this, they mailed the tickets, so might need a Japanese address to mail these to. The baseball stadium is walkable from Hiroshima station. If you want the history, Hiroshima peace memorial Park, the atomic bomb dome, and the museum. Very well done and somber museum about the atomic bomb from the Japanese point of view. Think Holocaust museum. Can easily take up a full morning or afternoon. When I took my wife to Hiroshima for the first time, this was a must. One stop down from Hiroshima station, but maybe a 30-45 minute walk instead if it's a nice day For shopping/souvenirs, Hondori area is a must. Massive shopping area with multiple malls and souvenir shops. The PARCO mall there has a Shonen Jump Store and a Pokemon store for the kids or anime nerds in your life. This area is right next to the Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima Castle. Took my wife shopping here after the museum. Mazda museum is in Hiroshima as well. Never had a chance to go, but I've heard really great things. Definitely had my fair number of days going to the castle/memorial Park, followed by Hondori, then night baseball game, just in time to catch the train back to Iwakuni. Spoilered for length, but here's a list of restaurants in the area a friend and I put together (includes Sake breweries in Saijo and things to do on Miyajima Island)
  17. Agreed, I think having all of the rankings would clutter up what you're trying to do. But I agree with @BornOrange, I like having a national player rank and a position rank, maybe under "Status: Committed"?
  18. I think this would be a cool thing to use in commit threads. Adding the Twitter/Instagram is a nice touch so that people can go follow if they want to. Maybe just needs to add the player's recruit grade/position rank? I like the way 247 has that in theirs.
  19. Harris did indeed commit I can't find the other post, but saw something about her being the #1 setter recruit. Haven't seen anything from Anderson yet.
  20. Looch wants two things: to keep his subscribers high on hope, and to be respected by/friends with famous people and national reporters. He knows whatever he writes can be on MBG or Pawl or Pate or whatever, so every now and then, he presents a very normal opinion. In this case, he straight up said that Quinn has been better than Klubnik and Weigman (no shit, even though no 98% aggy would ever say that out loud). That's the "normal" opinion, but because he's aggy, he needs to hide that behind all of the other ridiculous shit he vomited into that post.
  21. Certainly doesn't look like she's planning to transfer anytime soon
  22. If Port Arthur is Houston area then shouldn't Brenham be in the Austin area?
  23. Tex is just fucking with you guys at this point 😂
