  1. Well, that's only because they obviously didn't want to be there.
  2. Didn't he also commit the foul that eventually led to West Ham's 3rd goal?
  3. What the fuck is Aurier doing?? How many times is that this season that he's been directly responsible for a goal through a stupid foul? At least 3?
  4. I wonder about this. The most common post-COVID cardiac concern is post-COVID myocarditis. From what I've read, it seems like the majority of myocarditis cases have symptoms shortly after infection. I haven't been able to find data on the incidence of myocarditis starting after recovery of symptoms or if initially asymptomatic. Because of that, I don't know how likely it is that he would be suffering from an extreme symptom of myocarditis this far out from his COVID diagnosis if he wasn't previously having symptoms. Anyway, with all of that being said, I would imagine that any post-COVID screenings for myocarditis would include an echocardiogram and/or a cardiac MRI (which would be easy to do at a major academic hospital). Either one of these two studies should pick up findings that are common in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, which I believe is what Hank Gathers had. Actually, now that I think about it, a combination of EKG, Echo, and Cardiac MRI should pick up the majority of things that would cause something like this. So I'm curious if we'll ever hear the diagnosis or what their screenings include/were they done.
  5. If you want that BDE, you got to keep up with the rest of the thread. Buried somewhere in the 10 pages before you: If you're an AD and want everyone to think you're keeping your coach, this is how it's done.
  6. No tweet yet, but LOI is in per LHN Edit: Tex beats me with the tweet
  7. I mean, the only P5 head coaches without a dumb loss this year are....Saban/Meyer/Day/Fitzgerald/Dabo/Kelly/Jimbo/Helton? And they've all got dumb losses at point or another. And they've all been debated at one point or another. I think judging coaching candidates on one bad loss is gonna leave a bunch of y'all disappointed with whomever the new hire might be. (Multiple dumb losses is a different story, and yes, I'm looking at you Tom).
  8. Dude he's not gonna do anything. This is the same dude that posted a picture of Urban Meyer on a zoom call with ninja emojis, implying that he knew someone that was still talking to him, only for the board to discover to that it was a publicly available webinar about leadership that Urban was speaking on. He still never explained that by the way, he's just hoping it gets lost among the McRib and Westerns talk.
  9. United States Military Academy? Breeding ground for Army officers.
  10. Tough game for us, but we definitely had a few opportunities to win it. Coach Burgett, as much as I want to go cross town rival on my opinion of him, I must admit has had East consistently among the top teams in the Valley over the past almost 10 years.
  11. Baby yoda doesn't talk like that. In fact, he doesn't talk at all. Damn soldiers. Go Navy! Beat Army!
  12. We didn't play awfully well... 76 yard run on the 1st play, 40ish yard pass after a turnover, TD on a short field with not much steady yards in between got most of our points. But it really doesn't help when the refs blow a call like this to give Vela the ball on the good side of the 50 to take the lead. https://youtu.be/ZLkFObeRiXg?t=8181 QB was very obviously throwing it forward, but called a fumble. Smh. If that gets called correctly, we punt it away and who knows, maybe nothing changes. But it certainly didn't help.
  13. Wow, neg reps for cheering for one military branch over another in a football game. @vtaenz did a sailor steal your girl or something?
  14. I mean, there were no head coaching opportunities before the game was invented... Hardly Snyder's fault.
  15. This Bijan kid seems pretty good! Time to sit his ass on the bench.
  16. "When you look under the hood of these elite programs, the Ohio State, the Alabama, the infrastructure is amazing" First two things he mentions as infrastructure? "The recruiting guy and the strength guy"
  17. "When you look under the hood of these elite programs, the Ohio State, the Alabama, the infrastructure is amazing" First two things he mentions as infrastructure? "The recruiting guy and the strength guy"
  18. "The heat is on high in Texas" -host "There are a few elite programs where the fans have lost their mind. Their expectations are high. But I tell the players, Hey, you didn't have to come to this school, you didn't have to come to Ohio State, so don't be surprised if we get hammered when we don't play well. I tell my coaches the same thing" -Urban Interesting take compared to what Herbie said on ESPN
  19. Upcoming segment: Wake up call for Texas (and Michigan) "Why these two fan based need to listen up. Next!" Should be interesting
  20. They're doing a segment talking about Coaches that will be in new places next year, and Brady gives UM (off screen) a little ribbing: "I just hope our coach isn't somewhere else next year, we need him!" First allusion they've made on the show. Edit: I'm too slow.
