  1. Upcoming segment: Wake up call for Texas (and Michigan) "Why these two fan based need to listen up. Next!" Should be interesting
  2. They're doing a segment talking about Coaches that will be in new places next year, and Brady gives UM (off screen) a little ribbing: "I just hope our coach isn't somewhere else next year, we need him!" First allusion they've made on the show. Edit: I'm too slow.
  3. It upsets me that this would be a penalty today.
  4. Michael Griffin: "Sometimes you just need to do the common sense things" (like taking 3 in the red zone at that time in the game) Obviously hasn't met Tom Herman if he expects him to make common sense calls
  5. They still need to get a TD. FG does nothing for the cyclones.
  6. Toby out 2-4 weeks
  7. Well, let's make sure the next guy is an Aries. Problem solved!
  8. That was a ridiculous call on the penalty save
  9. Kane dropping back, getting yet another assist, playing like a true #10
  10. Something I thought was completely idiotic, but he consistently said this they didn't even look at Maryland stuff until game week. The rest of the preseason was culture and install and etc. I thought maybe it was just coach speak at the time, but now I know he's actually dumb enough to not use an entire off-season to prepare and to actually wait until game week.
  11. About that....
  12. I don't live in Texas right now (haven't for the past 5 years), but I try to go to at least one game a year. That was the game I was at that season and it was pretty awesome.
  13. A 75 yard loss for a safety would be rather impressive though.
  14. First time I've ever heard someone call Tim Tebow a scumbag
  15. Still has the M crossed out in her own name... Michigan fans that hope they can get him are wasting their time.
  16. I mean, it would be really weird for the fucking LAS VEGAS (or Oakland or LA) Raiders to put colors on their uniforms representative of a Texas/Mexican cultural tradition. For the Spurs to do it though? Now that makes sense, and it's fire. Can't wait to order mine.
  17. Our defense flies to the ball and played pretty well. I agree, I think offense is too reliant on the run game. A few more hitches, screens, or deep shots vs man coverage might take a defender or two out of the box and make way for more running room. QB run game has been a staple of our offense for a few years now, but need to do things from the playcalling side to help that out. Haha yea, I feel like our media department has been leading the way in the RGV for some time. Streaming production is great. During non COVID years, they even do a pre and post game show on Facebook Live! Play by play guys need a little work, but they're ok lol
  18. Harlingen wins 13-10 in a very very sloppy game. Lots of holding calls on both offenses. 3 or 4 turnovers forced by Weslaco that they couldn't capitalize on.
  19. @HelobiousHarlingen vs Weslaco on YouTube if y'all care to watch some Valley football. You can tell they haven't played very many games as the playbooks are limited and play is sloppy at times. Very good defense from both sides though.
  20. This is an old tweet featured in that picture and I'm pretty sure it was debunked as Zach Smith simply being a POS and trying to drag Herman's name through the mud in any way possible. Herman offered Jackson as a junior while at Ohio State. I don't think he would tell the staff that he thought Jackson was "too dumb to play QB" and then offer him anyway.
  21. I haven't followed his career after he left Texas... But I do remember while he was here being concerned about his ball security. Just reminds me that if I thought he was fumble prone that year, I can see why people would think the same of Ingram this year. Granted, Ingram has more goodwill built up with two years of no fumbles lost first, but still, I can see how, if people disregarded that, they could jump to "fumble prone"

  23. Yea not in the fact that, looking at the stats, I still don't think he's fumble prone. But I compared him to a guy that I thought was and they have the exact same fumble rate. Turns out memory bias is a real thing.
  24. Well, fuck me, I stand corrected. See kids, this is why you always check the stats before you trust your own biased memory.
