  1. 3-2 now after 4. Need to save the last one.
  2. Mullins penalty saved...
  3. I'm surprised that it wasn't called a goal. Apparently the on field call was for a foul by Haaland, not a goal. Inconclusive evidence means foul call stand. But alas, ultimately did not matter
  4. LOL we almost just stole a point
  5. We've definitely grown into the game this half. A couple of decent chances, need to finish one
  6. Just got his ankles broken on a slow cutback
  7. He should've scored again. Everyone stopped waiting for the refs whistle, City kept playing
  8. Aggy fans: "Pull the lever Kronk Coach Earley"
  9. I would think requiring everyone to have the same haircut and facial hair would make it harder to identify someone. It's a lot easier to pick out the guy with Bert Auburn hair or a Goose Gossage moustache than to tell apart 1 white guy with a buzz cut and no facial hair from the other 20 white guys with a buzz cut and no facial hair.
  10. Interesting. Just looked at the matchday schedule. The ticket says 430 pm, but that's when Australia vs Colombia starts. I didn't realize that there would be multiple games
  11. 4:30pm Pacific Time?
  12. Anyone going to be at the game on Wednesday in San Diego? Got my tickets today!
  13. Highlights from Spurs 1-0 win over Alkmaar on 24 Oct, matchday 3 Starters: Forster Udogie Davies Dragusin Gray Maddison Bergvall Bentancur Werner Richarlison Moore
  14. The Pensacola Blue Wahoos (AA for Marlins) have also made a statement
  15. I know a more recent mock draft didn't have her listed (maybe they think she comes back for another year?) but there was a mock draft at the beginning of the year that had her as a potential top 10 pick.
  16. In a world where Canady picks Tech to play softball, I'm no longer surprised if an athlete prioritizes NIL income and individual brand recognition over a better chance at winning titles. It's a logical thought that her individual brand would be better at OU scoring 20-25 PPG on a high scoring team. That'll get on sportscenter and get highlights circulated on social media. If you're not going to make a ton of money in the WNBA, most of your income is going to come from individual endorsements. Might as well do what you think is best for your brand. Luckily for us, being associated with the University of Texas, just at baseline, is good for your brand. Being a generational player at the University of Texas can be monumental for your brand regardless of individual statistics. Especially given the popularity explosion of NCAAW basketball over the last few years.
  17. As we saw from A&M, it takes much more than just buying a roster. First, you need a head coach who prioritizes a mental/personality/cultural evaluation for players along with the physical evaluation. You need a head coach who's willing to say no to a 5 star that doesn't fit. Without this, you end up with the dumpster fire that was A&Ms locker room. Second, you need a coaching staff with elite Xs and Os. Whether that's head coach or coordinators (i.e. Joe Brady for offense, Kirby Smart on defense, etc). Seems obvious, but without elite Xs and Os, it doesn't matter who's on your roster. Then, third, you need the players to execute the Xs and Os at an elite level. Seems like we are at a place where we finally have all 3 both on offense and defense (hence, back to back top 4 finishes). If Tech jumps straight to buying a roster, they still ain't gonna do shit without the right head coach and coaching staff in place. They'll be more A&M rather than Texas.
  18. Article on the Yankees facial hair from the Athletic
  19. I think the insinuation was if you make millions, you have the very easy ability to hire a private driver. But that would also require an alcoholic to be self aware and many of them do not achieve that level of self awareness until multiple consequences occur
  20. Tell me about it dude... Father Time just kind of sneaks up and punches you in the mouth sometimes.
  21. I listen to a few Spurs podcasts during the week and they bring this up a lot. One of our biggest needs is a left footed LB and Spence/Porro would be a perfect 1-2 rotation at RB
  22. Starting SS is out for the year. Had to shuffle the players at 2B/SS a bit
  23. National championship incoming. Didn't realize they were brothers, but I can see the resemblance
