  1. Yea.... None of this is even close to being correct
  2. Machinator still hasn't returned.
  3. Craig Way makes everything better
  4. According to Google Maps, there's an actual (very) small town two hours south of Chapel Hill that is indeed named Tar Heel, NC.
  5. The one and only Lexi Sun (There was a small contingent wondering if it was time to retire Kate and replace her with Lexi, which thankfully didn't happen)
  6. RGV REPRESENT!!!
  7. Herman's was posted at the bottom of page 1, but it seems to have been deleted from YouTube for some reason.... I'm sure it'll be back up shortly. Here are the coordinators
  8. I got you.
  9. I was surprised to see that Weslaco East did not opt up to 6A as they have done in recent years... But I was told that they "weren't allowed to" because of the way the numbers of teams in each district was shaping up? Never heard of that happening before. Either way, Weslaco vs Weslaco East is now their season opener rather than season closer.
  10. Can't wait to see the Aggy tears for Malik Hornsby being ranked over Haynes King lol
  11. I bet Machinator wouldn't be having this problem...*sigh*
  12. If you're looking at the yellow line, that's actually his speed. Blue line is his altitude. The dip in the yellow line there in the middle is when they were flying slowly in the holding pattern waiting for traffic to clear (on the radar recording, this is where they are circling in place). Their altitude looks fairly consistent and slowly increasing. The end there is interesting. Like someone mentioned before, their speed drops about 25-30 knots while their altitude increases by almost 1000 feet over the course of less than a minute. Immediately followed by an increase in speed of 40 knots while altitude rapidly decreases by 300-400 feet. Certainly could argue that it sounds like they were in some sort of free fall
  13. ATC is Air Traffic Control. IMC is Instrument Meteorological Conditions: basically when the weather is too shitty to be able to fly visually. When the weather is IMC, you fly via your instruments which tell you everything: altitude, heading, airspeed, etc. I just gave my guys a brief on Spatial Disorientation and how easy it is for your body and senses to deceive you. There is such a thing as unrecognized spatial disorientation, where you think you know exactly what's going on and don't even recognize that you're losing altitude or in a spin because of what your body and senses are telling you. Reading about some of these cases or listening to the radio calls is scary shit sometimes
  14. Then maybe it was "and" as opposed to "or"? Unanimous All American and NPOY?
  15. I can't find it now, but I think Del Conte tweeted once that the standard that's always been employed at the University of Texas was either NPOY or unanimous All American. That was in response to someone asking about a football player.
  16. Think it might have started during Game 1 against Maryland lol
