  1. Officially, yes only for Harvard because she never ran track at UT. She did grad school at the Austin campus of University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, one of the medical/grad schools in the UT System, but was already a professional and did not compete for Texas as a graduate student. (Which raises an interesting question, would she have been allowed to run at UT if she wanted to while she was in grad school? Technically, the medical/grad school at UT-Houston is a different campus than UT-Austin)
  2. My final manual count of the list above is 3 bronze, 7 silver, and 6 gold for past or current Longhorns 🤘🏽
  3. X post from the football board, but here is Trey Owens dad
  4. He had just finished his rookie year when the summer 08 Olympics rolled around, so they probably finalized the roster the year before when he was still at Texas or before his rookie season started.
  5. Social media team is going to have a blast with his Anime fandom.
  6. NIL agent cautionary tale FSU RB says he didn't want to leave FSU, but when the agent that his parents hired started texting other coaches pretending to be him soliciting a transfer, it got back to the FSU coaches and they sent him packing.
  7. I didn't watch but saw some on Twitter talking about set pieces again. Think it's Vicario or defensive system?
  8. OB caveat and all, but I love this. I think things like this cement trust between a player and their position coach.
  9. Weslaco/Harlingen is always a good time If he starts, first game, think they'll open up the passing game or ease the freshman into it? Weslaco will be interesting. Lots of starters back on defense, but losing some major offensive firepower, including little Eli. We'll have to see how the offense looks. My nephew will be a starting WR this year!
  10. San Benito's schedule is WILD. 32-6A only has 5 teams, so their schedule has 6 non district games PSJA North At Austin Westlake Laredo United (favorite to win their district) UANL (a University in Nuevo Leon, Mexico) At Weslaco (favorite to win their district and San Benito's only loss last year) Carthage (neutral site)
  11. "Lack of trophies" I think isn't the argument some people think it is without context. If you want to win a recent league trophy in the big 5 leagues, you basically have to be the manager of either Man City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich (unless you are Xabi Alonso), PSG, or whatever Italian clubs (I don't know enough about Serie A to know who's good now other than Juventus is not as dominant as they were last decade). That's it. He won a league trophy at PSG. No one is winning any trophies at Espanyol or Southampton. He got Spurs damn close to league and UCL. And he only had one year at Chelsea. I think looking at the context of the teams he was with, trophies won is an almost impossible measure of success.
  12. Finally, it's Sydir Mitchell's time to shine!
  13. He said with the world cup in two years, he wants to continue to play in the premier league
  14. Espn Brazil reporting that Richarlison is staying at Tottenham https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/40776104/richarlison-stay-tottenham-amid-saudi-transfer-links
  15. For the purposes of medal count though, I think hers count for Harvard since that's where she spent her entire collegiate track career
  16. I wish they kept a list of each school's representatives. I'm using the Daily Texan list from the OP, which might not be completely accurate, but by my count right now, we're at 4 Gold, 5 Silver, and 3 Bronze
