  1. Marcus Johnson also got traded to them this off-season Also, the quote says Tom Herman coached teams, so I'm assuming he also means players they evaluated from Ohio State and Houston that played for him
  2. Would've been more accurate if he had just left off those last 2 words
  3. Wasn't there an underclassmen from San Antonio several years ago that ran a sub 10? Not in the state meet, but I could've sworn I heard about it
  4. Confirmed: Herman lurks on the Surl.
  5. Sizing up potential trade fits for Manny Machado http://www.espn.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/86136/sizing-up-potential-trade-partners-for-manny-machado
  6. The Surl has definitely regressed during the off-season, but I think we'll be fine once Summer ball starts.
  7. I mean... It's not an either/or. I was a Catholic and academics kid (now they're trying to tell me that I'm an adult, but I refuse to acknowledge that) and I definitely enjoy music festivals, rap or otherwise. Not saying this def applies to him, but not all Catholic/Academics kids would shun the festival atmosphere
  8. Not sure when it originated, but when all (every single one of them, not a single one stayed) of the young and upstanding Aggy men left school to go single handedly win WW2, those damn liberal military protesters in Austin just stayed at home to sip their tea. Hence "Tea-sippers" shortened to "T-sips" again shortened to "sips". Just like everything Aggy, makes perfect sense. JLawOk.gif
  9. "apart" Do not want, pull scholly. Also
  10. Damn, that's a kick ass edit 🤘🤘🤘
  11. If it happened, would be right up there with #Malikmas in terms of Texas Recruiting Holiday names
  12. Yup, shaving cream pie to the face. It's a thing in the majors too... After walk off hits/hrs, or no hitters, or a rookie's first game if he does something worth being interviewed for
  13. "I was just trying not to strike out" I'd say he succeeded! 🤘
  14. Soroka pitched a damn gem of 6 innings.
  15. Includes roughly 350% of this board though
  16. I enjoy this show more than I thought I would when I first watched the premiere. I'm a sucker for time travel and history. Of course, time travel, by it's very nature, is vulnerable to plot holes... But it looks like the showrunners aren't trying too hard to explain all of them away... They just move on and keep having fun with it, which I actually appreciate. I thought reintroducing the wife was a really good way to throw a wrench in when the hookup that everyone was expecting finally happened. Interested to see where this goes, but I agree, probably best to not try to extend this too far.
  17. Did a few shifts in the Ben Taub ER when I was in Houston... Had plenty of guys come in high off this stuff or unknowingly high on PCP that was laced into their weed.
  18. I actually don't mind the private boxes. Maybe some of the old guys who are going to be at the game anyway will vacate a bleacher seat and move into the boxes, thereby opening the bleacher seat for a fan who will be a little more rowdy and engaged.
  19. If this is what it takes to get more Emma Watson gifs, then I hope we recruit 25 players named Watson every year. (No, not suggesting Emma as a replacement for Kate, just as an addition)
