  1. My guess is he goes the Mack Brown route, guessing it was the slogans and "character" shit that led to great teams rather than actual football shit. You'll see Campbell double down on his culture approach, maybe even run a few talented guys off and fail to make any substantive improvement until 2-3 years from now when you guys are forced to kick him to the curb.
  2. Why wouldn't he? 10 rainy days per year, avg temps year round of 40s-70, low pressure to win, minimal hot coeds to make his marriage difficult.
  3. I didn't watch the game so it's possible it's not as egregious a fuckery as the numbers make it seem, but Jerami Grant just shot 28 free throws against the Knicks. The Blazers team shot 51 FTs. Knicks shot the same number as Grant. That just seems improbable.
  4. Those shoes are trash. Like just absolute 100% garbage. TF?
  5. That's great for a 7yo, but you are slow AF if you never broke an 8 minute mile pace.
  6. His career stat line is worsethan I expected, but Colorado has a young center Lovering who looks good playing switches on defense and has a good looking stroke. Could be a player in a year.
  7. This is true, but let's put that entitlement into context. He was in a basketball facility attempting to work on basketball skills as an elite basketball professional. Within the gym he IS entitled. If he acted like that at a restaurant he's a dick. In the gym, he's right to expect some deference.
  8. Curry had a similar freakout in Houston during the playoffs a couple years ago. I don't remember if he was trying to get in before or after the game but I do remember the consensus was the rockets were being dicks and they fucked around and found out.
  9. Just noticed this still shot of Giannis's follow through on his free throws in the game. I worked a lot with my son's shooting form from the time he was like six and it was always nice. Elbow in, make the L, pop it, off hand still, shooting hand in the cookie jar. This spring and summer he was stroking that thing. Then school starts and we go to the gym to get shots up a couple days a week and he starts doing this shit with his off hand pronating like Giannis is doing here. Big drop in consistency and of course now he's in high school so I don't know shit and he's always done it that way. Right, so cool story bro, but whoever is responsible for working with Giannis on his shot has one very easy fix right there that will improve his consistency a ton.
  10. To quote Luka, everybody acting tough when they up.
  11. If fake tough guy Harrell hasn't fucked with him Giannis would have been done before those guys even brought the ladder out.
  12. True story, every person I've ever met from Philly has been a piece of shit.
  13. Giannis's side of the story is given in an ESPN piece today. Basically he was trying to get some FTs up after the game b/c he didn't shoot well. He wanted to shoot 10. He was at 7. Montrezl Harrell, known POS, argued with him and took the ball away from and left the court. Giannis went and got another ball and when he came back these dudes were trying to do whatever they do after a game. He asked them to move the ladder for a few minutes, they refused, he knew this was a bullshit flex by poser Philly fucks and moved the ladder. He shot his couple of FTs and went to the locker room. Nonstory but if there are any villains they live in Philly.
  14. Bones is one of my favorite players in the league right now. He clearly is just a true ball is life dude and comes across as totally authentic.
  15. Your device and the app on your device are not the weak links in any secure transaction. The concern is for potential shenanigans involving any servers between you and vote counting server as well as the feds storing that identifiable information including how you voted in a way that could be 1) vulnerable to attack, and 2) intentionally abused by authoritarian govt forces to harm political dissidents.
  16. I'm sorry, did Oklahoma disappear from the Earth while I was asleep or something? You don't have to teach kids to breathe or hate OU, man, it just comes naturally, as God intended.
  17. Yeah all that "leadership"said is clearly something kd feels like it's not his job. It would be one thing if he was pointing fingers and part of the problem but he isn't. He has remained consistent that he is there to play ball full stop everywhere he's been. I empathize. I get paid based strictly on productivity but my employer also includes requirements that I perform a full week's worth of unpaid labor every year that they legitimately call "other work". I resent TF out of it. I'm sure kd feels similarly about babysitting Kyrie and Simmons.
  18. Slo-Mo is probably the 6th best player on the Wolves roster right now. He looks weird out there but he is effective. I wouldn't trade Kyle Anderson for Rudy Gobert straight up.
  19. Roy Williams was 6'4" and ran the 100m under 10.4s. He had great hands. He blocked his ass off for freshman Vince. He blocked punts on special teams. If Roy had played on those Colt McCoy teams the records would be untouchable. Not only is Roy the best WR since the Mack era, he's probably a top 10 athlete in all sports at Texas in that timeframe, certainly top 20.
  20. I haven't watched a ton of MN play this year but the games I have watched they get killed with Gobert playing drop on pick and rolls. Meanwhile the other team kills them by playing drop when Rudy sets a pick b/c he is zero threat on anything but a dive/roll to the rim. With the primary ball handler being a well-below league average 3-pt threat (Russell) they don't have to worry about the pull up off the screen and can play him straight up. Playing Rudy with KAT facilitates all of KAT's bad tendencies by encouraging him to hang out 25 feet from the rim instead of abusing mismatches in the post. If you try to pull Rudy out of the key on offense to work KAT in the post you're inviting a double team on KAT and basically playing 4 on 5 on that end of the floor. Maybe they will make some adjustments and put together a winning formula, but right now the Rudy trade and their other off-season moves are clear net negatives.
  21. So far it's me and 2 dudes who never saw big Roy play
