  1. I'm high on their team as well. If Zion plays 2/3 or more of the season they're a 50 win team and a puncher's chance against any team in the playoffs.
  2. @MNLonghornFUKM nice article from ESPN sucking T'wolves off for the Gobert trade. They almost convinced me. If they really try to maximize a sort of platoon system where they always have KAT and Edwards together and Rudy and Russell together I could see it working out. Pretty fucking steep price to pay to basically bolster your second unit though.
  3. Initially it looks good if he's shooting right handed. He then twists it to shoot lefty and it's a travesty. Somebody did him a disservice trying to make him shoot lefty at a young age when he's probably not naturally left handed.
  4. Not straight up because of the salary difference. GSW would have to give up somebody like kuminga or Looney I think

    NFL Week 5

I don't particularly follow the NFL much, but just saw Taysom Hill scored 3 TDs against the Seahawks. Can you imagine how bad that dude would be if he had knees?
  6. What team did they play on for a full season together that year?
  7. more interference on that last throw than the one they called.
  8. Bama would fucking kill to have Hudson Card on the roster right now.
  9. I believe most insurance allows 10 Viagra per month, soooo
  10. I have questions. Was Poole asleep on that punch? Why would we trust these reports about what was said to instigate it? How do you come back to work with a guy that knocked you on your ass? Whole team is fucked up now. Draymond got to go. Poole too, for that matter.
  11. Championship seasons without Dray / Klay / Steph: 2014-15 -- 3-0 / 3-2 / 0-2 2016-17 -- 5-1 / 1-3 / 2-1 2017-18 -- 10-2 / 3-6 / 17-14 2021-22 -- 10-17 / 36-14 / 8-10 Totals -- 28-20 / 43-25 / 27- 27 % -- DG 0.583 / KT 0.632 / SC 0.500 That difference between Dray and Klay is entirely due to last year with Klay coming back from two years off due to horrific injuries. The thing with Draymond Green is that he benefits from being on the Warriors way more than the Warriors benefit from having him on the team. Put him on any other team and he goes full JAG.
  12. Dubs record without Klay in his career: 101-111 without Dray: 57-51 without Steph: 67-130 How is this whiny ass man child inspiring borderline religious devotion to the myth of his basketball prowess? I'm not saying he sucks. But he's not Scottie Pippen on the Bulls. He's not Dumars on the Pistons. He's a rich man's Jerome Kersey on a much better team. EDIT: I'm old AF, man, I ain't going to be quicker than anyone these days. Just for grins in 2021-22: w/o Dray: 19-17 w/o Klay: 36-14 w/o Steph: 8-10 So like I said, you have an argument for second most important player last year, but he has clearly been 3rd or 4th banana all other championship years.
  13. It's a much more apt comp than you want to believe. The Dutchman would be killing Porzi in the post but Porzingis range gives him the overall edge on offense. Defense is a wash.
  14. Is it though? 2014-2015 VORP: Dray 3.5, Klay 4.0 2016, 2017 -- KD, man. The only championship team he could have an argument as 2nd most important cog is last year and even that is highly questionable. If you just look at the playoffs Klay, Poole, and Wiggins all had higher VORP. I love me some defense but Dray gets way too much credit. He's a fantastic off the ball defender but he's not locking down guys on the perimeter. He's a nothing shooting the ball. He's a good passer but he's not Jokic. He's a petulant bitch who plays a lot of the game outside the rules daring refs to call him on it.
  15. Yeah, no. Derka's right. You still take Lebron. And if Lebron was coming up now he'd have spent 10 years building up the 3 ball. Rik Smits is Porzingis with a better attitude. C'mon man.
  16. Maybe for this year but not for the next 3-4 years.
  17. Draymond isn't worth the bs at his current salary much less paying him a max deal like he seems to expect. He's going to duck around and find out the way Dennis Schroder did.
  18. Yeah the more you look at that the more you know how little effort has gone into fixing it.
  19. I don't think the Rockets need to be in emergency talent acquisition mode anymore. I think they hit on a star in Green and I expect to feel the same way about Smith at the end of this year. They've got solid young talent around those guys in KJ Martin and Tate. I'm not convinced they have a quality big man, but in the modern NBA that's the least important component of roster construction. They've got Gordon and Porter and future picks to use as trade bait to bring in a solid third veteran. I like Clarkson from the Jazz as a third scoring option who's probably available, but someone in that range. Their window of opportunity is probably realistically around 2025, but they should start to be competitive the next couple of years.
