  1. Coach said he was probably out per ESPN article today
  2. What does cp3 want the punishment to be? They got kicked out and will likely be barred from future games. I'm sure they are free to pursue criminal charges if they feel it is warranted. That said, the alleged perp is hardly a threat.
  3. Ummm no he didn't. MJ punched him.
  4. I don't care about this series one way or the other, I just hope the most transcendent player of the last 5 - 6 years doesn't get derailed by injuries just as he's starting to round into a true superstar. And people need to stop with the knee grab BS. Totally incidental and not at all analogous to the head shot Brooks leveled.
  5. Really hope Ja's knee is nothing serious.
  6. which call? I didn't think the tip should count.
  7. The worst attribute a ref crew can have is inconsistency. This bucks Celtics game is the most egregious example of that I have seen in a long time.
  8. Boban kills those state farm commercials.
  9. It's like watching a high school kid against middle schoolers. The high school kid doesn't have to be that skilled to dominate due to the physical difference. That's Giannis to me.
  10. Stats disagree with you regarding Dinwiddie vs THJ. They're almost identical with Dinwiddie being a little more efficient and little better on defense but a slightly worse shooter across their careers. If you look at just this season, Dinwiddie has been a better shooter and slightly worse defender. The biggest thing arguing to keep/extend Dinwiddie over THJ is their contracts. THJ costs $6-7M more per year, which is not good value. I'm still in the group who sees that Bamba has done well when given minutes. And let's be honest, he does not have to be dominant to be an upgrade over what the Mavs are trotting out there now. If he could be a better rim protecting, more athletic version of Maxi (which is what the stats suggest he is), I'm sure the Mavs would be over the moon to replace Powell with him. Just think of him as a cheaper Porzingis who would actually be happy to be there.
  11. Things change over time with backs. And "needing" surgery is not as black and white as you might assume. Highly trained specialists can disagree on that point all the time. Neither side is wrong they just prioritize different aspects in the decision making process. And let's not rule out Simmons having a sham surgery just to avoid working for a living.
  12. I agree with that except dinwiddie is the one you have to get rid of, not brunson. Dinwiddie is a one man show. He can't be the primary handler and get his team involved. That's why he was so bad in Washington. I'm not suggesting dinwiddie is better than brunson, but I expect the price tag for brunson to be higher. Anybody know starts on dinwiddie and Luka sharing the floor? I feel like that hasn't happened enough to know how compatible they might be.
  13. 2022-23 Mavs should have only two of THJ, Brunson, and Dinwiddie. I know they serve different roles but from a cap management perspective they are never going to be able to afford to pay Luka, THJ, JB, and Dinwiddie. And fucking Bertans's contract is a boat anchor for a guy that plays no D and has been a hair better than league average from deep. They need to upgrade interior defense and wing depth. Mo Bamba and Miles Bridges are a couple interesting free agents for them to look at. If you can get a big guy on that level, I think you let Brunson walk, extend Dinwiddie, and try to trade THJ. Can't imagine there's much of a market but I'd at least kick the tires.
  14. That should definitely have been a call on Crowder. You can't grab a guy like that even if it's a dead ball. Crowder's a real bitch.
  15. Without Embiid, Harden might still be the third best player on the Sixers. Everybody cracked on John Wall's terrible contract for years, but at least that man had injuries to blame. Barring injury he might have been worth that contract. Harden has not dealt with severe injury and just let himself go. He chose to make that contract an albatross.
  16. I'm not arguing that anyone need to facilitate me doing so, just used that number to illustrate the point. If I'm passing, ie going faster than the car to the right no matter how much the difference is, I'm within the bounds of the rules regarding use of the left lane. Also I believe the original scenario was a toll road with speed limit 80.
  17. Why is the assumption that the speeder is the person in the right? Everyone is making this assumption and offering no reason for it to be so. My entire point is if you want to break the law you don't have a right to make it expect others too facilitate that crime. It's not impolite and it's not impeding traffic.
  18. If I'm passing in not impeding traffic just because someone else wants to break the law.
  19. Why because I follow all of the rules of the road or because I might inconvenience some of you entitled fucks who think the road belongs to you?
  20. I'm not socially unaware. I'm rejecting the tacit assumption that because one driver is willing to be a bigger asshole everyone else should accommodate them. No. Fuck that guy. I don't drive in the left lane unless I'm passing, but if I'm passing and still not going as fast as the fuck behind me wants to go they can get to fuck.
  21. and not one single person is arguing otherwise
  22. Forcing someone to drive faster than they are comfortable with is not a dick move? Weird values system you got there. Holding someone up for what will likely amount to two minutes or less in travel time versus increasing speed which directly correlates to accidents and accident severity. Tough to know who is right but sure, selfish assholes rule the world so let's just go with your way
