  1. Yeah, it's hard to blame Nash right now. The nets have 1 top-10, 2 top-20, and 4 top 80 or so players on their roster (LMA has been that good for them). After that they have nothing. Blake Griffin is like a pair of $250 Chinese chest high waders that you only need to use four times a year but they leak every single time and have no warranty. Joe Harris is like the $250 chest high waders you order from Amazon, made in America but you had a coupon, but the package never showed up. They've gotten surprising production from Olympics brand Patty Mills, like they ordered a pair of $250 Chinese chest high waders but the box contained a pair of $800 American chest high waders with a lifetime warranty. The rest of the roster just sucks. So then you get KD injured, Kyrie only available part time, Harden either in permanent decline or playing through injury, and LMA getting dinged up and the result is like a pair of $100 Malaysian chest high waders with no warranty that you could use as coffee filters they leak so much.
  2. Seriously? The preceding discussion was guys shooting the shit about Kevin Love's relative value to the Cavs and whether their management was making a mistake not unloading him. It wasn't about the fishing waders in the slightest.
  3. "Worth" is not an objective calculation. He is worth what someone will pay him, which is apparently twenty-eight million American dollars.
  4. You're applying no value to risk or opportunity cost and also evaluating the situation completely in isolation.
  5. That's harsh re: green. He's had flashes. Talent is there consistency is not yet
  6. Wade's not terrible but he's also not very likeable for some reason. Shaq doesn't really fit in that crew as well. If they were going to have a holdover from the main crew Kenny would have been a better fit. And the host is Lowell Galindo bad.
  7. I agree. He should sue the architect.
  8. I don't understand people wanting to win the post apocalyptic Olympics. I'll just die. That's fine.
  9. It wasn't. People are just too polite. Give these kids cash man.
  10. For the past ten years yahoo search is just Bing.
  11. "infinitely better, more stable, and cohesive" are not terms I associate with Ben Simmons.
  12. They're only 4-3 with Kyrie though. Weird that they are a better road team even without him.
  13. I'm going to make the mistake of taking this troll attempt seriously. 1. Caruso is a nice player, a productive sixth man who can score, facilitate, and not be a liability on defense. A guy you can leave on the court in crunch time. The notion that he's the difference between a trip to the finals or not is something only his mom might believe. 2. Is this version of DeRozan better than the version that was incapable of getting it done in Toronto and led the worst stretch of Spurs basketball in a decade and a half (at least)? I know history is littered with guys that made the leap to best player on a championship team at age 32, but I'm still not buying that having him as your best player is a ticket to the finals. I get people are impressed with him this season, but statistically the only thing that has increased significantly from his last season with the Spurs is usage rate. 3. Milwaukee. 4. The Nets with a healthy and active trio of Durant, Harden, and Irving are still the best team in the league. They just never have the opportunity to show it. This is not a bad part of the season for Durant to be sitting. Come back a couple weeks after All Star break to get things clicking heading into the playoffs. Maybe some rules will change and Kyrie can play home games by the time playoffs roll around. If that happens the Bulls are at best a speed bump. 5. Bulls already missing Ball and LaVine, much bigger impacts than Caruso, IMO. 6. They don't get nearly enough from Vucevic on a consistent basis. A guy like that underperforming is not really the secret ingredient to a championship run.
  14. yeah, I'm not going to argue on his behalf.

You can overcome this by lying on your side and doing the same motion.
  17. That's awful. I don't think Allen was trying to hurt the guy, just reckless. Rough stretch for the Bulls losing Lonzo, Lavine, and Caruso.
  18. 3 40+ games tonight -- Luka, Embiid (50), and Jokic. That feels like a lot.
  19. Who's more disappointed in the season so far, Wizards or Celtics? I feel like both teams had playoff ambitions and are just hovering around 0.500 and on the playoff bubble.
  20. Ja Morant's left hand?
  21. If Denver's giving Bol Bol away for peanuts, I'd have liked to see either Dallas or San Antonio take a flyer on him. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33027857/sources-detroit-pistons-acquire-bol-bol-denver-nuggets-rodney-mcgruder-2nd-round-pick
  22. Okay, but he's playing right? Simmons is getting paid to not do shit while simultaneously driving down his perceived value in trades. The longer you hold him the lower the return is going to be. At least Fox might not be a locker room cancer at this point.
