  1. Hell to the yes! Was watching on my tablet and kept losing the gotdam feed, but a great win.
  2. This is so true. First time I rented a car after flying into LAX the guy was giving me the look over for any dents etc. I asked if was going to check lights, signals and such, dude just looked at me and said ; signals are for the weak and tourist, then tossed me the keys and walked away. Still can't get used to the bikers that go between cars at full speed though, that seems like a death wish.
  3. You sound like one of them Ding Dong Daddies, what with character and all.
  4. Checking in from Driftwood and well, wood is drifting all over the yard. Only lost power once so far, PEC has made progress . I think.
  5. I feel the same way about sour beer as some of you do about IPA's. Tried a few of them, including Jester King, and they just don't do it for me. Don't care for ciders either, or pretty much any carbonated drink.
  6. Would rather have a patty melt with some sides of choice instead of a big ass messy overloaded burger with everything on it.
  7. Something, something, your mom's bearded clam/ something, something, left a pearl in her oyster. All seafood is real and spectacular!
  8. This may or may not be true, but now I'm craving a bowl of it.
  9. Well..…. I'll be in my amen corner
  10. And Kenin seals the deal. Good for her, was worried she was going to hyperventilate though.
  11. I was always in the team mustard camp and considered mayonnaise/miracle whip the devils slop. Then had home made mayonnaise{red wine vinegar type) and it was a game changer. 4-5 ingredients and maybe 15 minutes of your time and say adios to the store bought crap.
  12. No shit, and yet you pass by any of their locations and there're always busy. I'd rather eat boiled owl.
  13. Yeah, it would be nice to see another player get a chance on Sunday. She just didn't appear to be up for the match, the crowd was really supportive too.
  14. Was at the Fed Cup in SA. Keys just never got going, like she was sleep walking through the match. Stephens at least showed up and put in some effort in her win. I took a loss as well, paid $9.00 for a Modelo(hangs his head in shame).
  15. I once watched Re-Animator and Frankenhooker back to back. So, close to home and all that.
  16. I like both of those better than the latest DDHDIPA.
  17. No way that was the first attempt, wonder who/what they used for the "fine tuning" of the slingshot. And what's with all the trash on the ground by slingshot dude?
  18. Was at Circle C HEB today checking for beers. No Zilker Anniversary, had the Tupps DDHDIPA. Saw a Dammit Jim! amber from New Republic Brewing which I haven't heard of. Looked at the can, and fuck me, it's from College Station. Got the Tupps and left.
  19. Kansas still keeps making the tournament but you could argue that they have kind of hit a wall the last few trips, Self might be losing a little of the mojo? I can't see them axing him but you know they had to cringe watching Tech make their run.
  20. Helluva come back, also have not seen any players using the Angell racquets on the pro circuits.
  21. I sometimes venture in to the Whole Foods at Wm. Cannon and S. Mopac for a smaller/specific items run. Those people that are at the beer/wine bar with an empty basket next to your bar stool, you're not fooling anyone, you're day drinking in a grocery store. NTTIAWWT.
  22. Well, it would be an improvement over the current situation no? Or I guess there is always the old " lower your expectations" formula to fall back on.
  23. So, if Shaka had assistant coaches who were responsible for his VCU teams success (limited) and his buyout is what keeps him here, then we should go after better asst. coaches and just let Shaka recruit? Didn't that work for Mack in football? Short term anyway.
  24. Go to HEB(Circle C/Dripping Springs) at least 3 times a week, family of 3 and 1 dog. Wife hates going and I kinda like it, especially the beer and wine section. Spend about $100.00 each trip.
