  1. I found a BottleRock 2022 lineup playlist. RKS and Amos Lee are definitely on my radar now. Also, Fantastic Negrito and Greensky Bluegrass.

  3. I was joking. I would support a Surly HH in Oakland or SF for those of us in the Bay Area.
  4. Wordle 207 5/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩🟨🟩⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  5. If the money goes unclaimed, do I get it by default? Asking for my bar tab this weekend.
  6. I regret not buying one of those shirts; however, my primary focus after the game was on getting some booze.
  7. Just won $200 with that TD and extra point (plus Bama not responding before the end of the quarter).
  8. We went to the PV area last summer; however, we stayed at a timeshare resort in Nuevo Vallarta. One of the best meals of the entire trip was a burrito from Tacon de Marlin, which is across the road from the airport.
  9. BottleRock (Memorial Day weekend) lineup announced. Looking forward to Metallica, The Black Crowes, Greta Van Fleet, Mount Westmore (Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40, Too $hort), Spoon, and The Wailers featuring Julian Marley. Kosha Dillz on the last row is pretty good. Any recommendations for other performers to checkout?
  10. Jameson. Fuck everything else.
  11. I’m anxiously awaiting the BottleRock lineup drop on Monday
  12. What does picking the underdog say about you? Hmm…
  13. That was the year I won. IIRC, if had I picked Bama and they won I would have finished 2nd. If Clemson lost, no money for me. Prior to the game, we compared the choice to the Battle of Wits in Princess Bride.
  14. @Lobo I didn’t want to continue derailing the other thread…Here is an interview with Brock Yates you may find interesting: https://buffalonews.com/news/an-interview-with-brock-yates-the-brains-behind-the-cannonball-run-tells-why-people-are/article_3a8a998f-a817-51b0-9e8b-d785c54365bf.html Two things from the interview: I had no idea he wrote the screenplay with Steve McQueen as the lead. And I never went to his Cannonball Run Pub when I lived in the area as it was in a very small town with no college-age girls. Sad it’s gone now. Your past experience with long distance driving is interesting. I’d love to something like that. Maybe when my oldest is old enough to drive. After Thanksgiving, we drove from Houston to Oakland in 27 hours (including stops for gas). We beat the estimate by an hour! I was very proud of that.
  15. Prior to this scenario, safeties didn’t count against a defense. When it happened on Sunday, the Yahoo Fantasy Twitter account even said so: They changed their scoring rules after the fact. Probably should have waited until next year to make the update.
  16. The movie was actually inspired by the race. The J.J. character was named after the little brother of one of my best friends. Their family was close to Brock Yates who started the race in 1971.
  17. My bad. I didn’t see the game so I didn’t know how the safety was scored and thought El Tri was talking about a situation in scoring that differentiated between DEF and D/ST. For example, in one of my leagues punt return TDs aren’t included in the scoring.
  18. Before or after the season or game? A safety by the offense or punt team should not count against the team’s defense.
  19. Not For Long with statements like that
