  1. Did you work at Initech?
  2. It comes with a free bowl of soup
  3. I did a reverse image search and an independent one; and couldn’t find the second image.
  4. My response was more about your implication that just because the state of Texas signed off on the plan it was a good one.
  5. You serious, Clark?
  6. Does the Richard Lewis estate get paid each time someone uses “…from hell?” And to keep this post in topic, Marjorie is a cunt and Trump definitely had Epstein killed.
  7. I am not disagreeing about crime at that location; however, the large majority of incidents were car break-ins, which can be mitigated by hiring armed security. If there were hotels on either side of the location in Oakland, it wouldn’t have closed. The other chain fast food places on the lot are still open and have had very few car break-ins this year.
  8. Blue circle is where the In-N-Out was located. I’m surprised they had any customers. The big building was the location of a Wal-Mart that closed in early 2016 and has been empty ever since. Yes, there were a large number of car break-ins; however, they could have hired security to monitor the parking lot. The A’s leaving likely had a major impact on the decision. With them gone, there isn’t much of a reason for anyone to be in that area.
  9. That was the excuse they used to close that site, IMO. The location was horrible (behind a closed Wal-Mart), which made it difficult to find (barely visible from the highway and not at all from the main road off the exit). There are no major stores in that area that would draw people in, especially at night. The Panda Express next to the site is still there; and there are fast food restaurants off the main part of the lot.
  10. Yeah, I think it was more about the lack of business with the Raiders and As leaving. There’s an In N Out in Alameda off the tunnel connecting the island and Oakland; and there are never reports of break-ins and muggings.

  12. Seriously, though. Glad to hear they caught one of the guys. I’m assuming you’ll be using Uber to get around if you need to fly in for a trial 😁
  13. You’re a good person
  14. I just missed getting a pic of a hot (and very rude) black chick rollerskating around the lake. There’s a lot of talent walking/running around the lake on weekends.
  15. For most Texas football games, we grab a fried chicken salad from Bakesale Betty and head over to Kingfish.
  16. How many bodies have been found in Town Lake this year? 😂
  17. Like all urban areas, there are both “good” and “bad” neighborhoods. Overall, Oakland is a pretty cool city with a lot of positives.
  18. Depends on where you are in Oakland. A lot of people out enjoying the day near Lake Merritt.
  19. Glad you are ok. My wife had her purse stolen while getting gas at the station across the street from that Chevron. We’ve lived in Oakland since 2010 and that was the only time one of us has been a victim. Although, I have seen numerous car break-ins. Our 17 year old skates all over Oakland and knows which neighborhoods to avoid; and both of our kids (the other is 15) are always aware if their surroundings.
  20. I like the movie a lot, and the dialogue is a big reason.
  21. Ronald Reagan was an anti-MAGA RINO

Finished S2. What a great show. Just started Rogue One.
