  1. Obsession noted. I appreciate you sticking around and continuing to post, but pls stop smearing shit all over the place.
  2. I play with my sons from time to time as well and it's really fun to get a win with them. Lots of hooting/hollering and high fives whenever we get one.
  3. I like this idea. I've long thought the TSLA mania would come crashing down at some point, but it continues to be completely irrational. eta: Just looked at the pricing on the long dated puts, whoa - spendy. 3/17/2023 200 P current ask $22.90
  4. If the reserve currency status of the USD was at stake? Yes, without a doubt. Wars have been fought over less.
  5. This is a great point, some of the lightly used bass boats I've seen for sale at the shop make me thankful for the one that I bought from a co-worker for $5,000. $12,000 for a redo that complete seems like a pretty good deal to me. The one thing I'd really like to have done is a complete re-wire on mine. There are so many little electrical gremlins from 25 years of different people fucking around with things - the front graph loses power every time I start the motor, if I hit a big swell going too fast I get a short alarm and the engine stalls for an instant, one of the live well pumps only works part of the time, etc. I always figured that a rewire was a huge ordeal that any shop would charge at least $2,500 for. But the motor is still really strong and hasn't lost much (if any) compression according to the mechanic. I put a new lower unit on it last year and it's even happier after that. As long as I feel good about the motor, I guess it wouldn't be a terrible strategy to put some money in to this one instead of spending $50k+ on something like this: https://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/boa/d/colleyville-2017-ranger-z521c/7288491301.html
  6. I bought some back at the end of January under $46 and wish I would have bought more. They stayed committed to the dividend through the whole downturn and I don't think they will cut it now that things have turned positive. The possibility of the dividend being cut was the main thing that kept me from making a bigger investment. Bottom line, yes, I think we are in the early innings of a bull run for commodities and XOM is still a good buy today at ~$62. @victory88
  7. I had my local shop quote me a price to redo the top in matte black, touch up the sparklie silver along the bottom, re-do the seats, and replace the maroon carpet with grey. I think it was like $7,500 total and I couldn't justify that on a boat this old. Plus I've got small kids and I like not worrying about them walking all over the seats or getting red dirt on the carpet. I went out yesterday evening and found a few coves where the water was up to 62-63, but the water looked like chocolate milk from the rain last week. It's going to be tougher fishing for the spawn this year. @fattyflattie
  8. I hope you are right @Bone3421It sure does seem like every time it’s about to explode “something” happens to reign in the madness. Curious.
  9. This is why I said $1k/share is a pipe dream. The cult-like holders of this stock are going to miss out on massive profits because of the diamond hands mantra. Take some money off the table dudes!
  10. Thanks for the info. I looked closer at the bulb and noticed a tiny bit of gas would come out of one of the connections when I squeezed it. I can’t tell if it’s a bunk clamp or if the hose is split, but I’ll replace it. I don’t think I’ll be re-powering this old war wagon! I think she was really something back in ‘96 tho. (Not ‘06, I misspoke) She gets me around this little lake way faster than I need to go.
  11. Ha! I'm about over this old sled, always a few little gremlins to work out after it sits for a while. I spent more on electronics than I did on the boat, so I can't really complain too much. But the water is 59 in the coves so I've got to get this shit sorted PDQ...
  12. I've been fishing for the first time in a month or so getting ready for the spawn and my boat keeps losing prime after I fish a spot for a while. I prime it back up and as long as I get up on plane pretty quick it runs just fine, but if I idle for a while it will stall out and I'll have to prime again. A quick google search says I've probably got a leak somewhere in my fuel line, but I replaced the whole thing early last year. Any other ideas if I can't find a kink or something else constricting fuel flow? I run ethanol free gas and always put in Stabil too just to be safe, so I don't think it's a bad gas issue. My motor is a 2006 Mercury 225 2 stroke.
  13. I got my JnJ jab this morning through CVS. Very easy process. feelsgoodman
  14. I'm in East Texas, my appointment is in Center of all places. It was pretty painless to schedule it through CVS' system.
  15. I got an appointment for next Monday through CVS for the JnJ shot. Thanks to everyone for sharing information on this!
  16. This is where I'm at on it too, it will probably stay in this range unless there is a major catalyst. $1,000 is a pipe dream though, if it gets anywhere close to 50% of the ATH again, it's time to bounce IMO.
  17. Almost looks like a Taurus station wagon from the 80's
  18. I thought it always lagged BTC more than traded above or below it. I had an buy order trigger today at $41 that I had forgotten about. @Burt Macklin
  19. Dammit, I'm going to have to average down on ALPP today aren't I? I bought it for the first time on 1/28 at 3.99 and bought 2 more lots on the way back down from the high.
  20. I think the Zup is what you are thinking about? https://zup.com/pages/towables-collection-updated I'm in the market for one of these pretty soon too.
  21. They all 3 are very effective, I’d be ecstatic to get any of them. And from what I’ve heard from my in-laws (3 out of 4 had side effects) it took more like 6 hours+ until they started to feel shitty.
