  1. I think Kantjil etc. was the place I went a couple years ago - not entirely sure, but it looks familiar. I do remember it was fan-fucking-tastic, though. If you've smoked a bit of Amsterdam's finest, those burgers from the machine, eaten on the train, are quite possibly the most delicious food in the world.

  3. White Man Is Accused of Seeking a Hit Man to Lynch His Black Neighbor: ‘$500 and He’s a Ghost’ by Niraj Chokshi May 10, 2018 A white man in South Carolina sought a hit man to kill his black neighbor, hang the body from a tree and leave a “flaming cross” on the neighbor’s lawn, according to a court filing. Fortunately for the neighbor, the hit man was an undercover agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The man accused of doing the hiring, Brandon Cory Lecroy, 25, was indicted by a grand jury this week on two charges related to the scheme. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if convicted. According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a confidential source tipped off the F.B.I. on March 19 that Mr. Lecroy, of Hodges, S.C., had reached out to an unnamed white supremacist organization seeking help in the murder. More at the link. Tl/dr: Burned-up looking fucker (obligatory: all that hate's burned you up, son) contacts a white supremacy organization (unnamed) to kill his black neighbor and burn a cross on his lawn. Alt-righters are too pussy to do the job themselves so the FBI poses as a hit man and busts him. He thinks $500 is reasonable payment to kill a man (or maybe it's all he can afford).
  4. I'm guessing it's because his balls have crawled up inside his body and won't come back down.
  5. Someone told me that one of the rules of golf is that when your tee shot ends up behind you, for whatever reason, you have to pull your pants down and run around the tee box. So you had to do that, right?

    This is my concern, dude.

So you got nothing. Got it.

What does that even mean? Answer the question: what's our strategy going forward?

    Iran

Once again: for the sake of argument let's assume all that's true. Now WHAT DO WE DO FROM THIS POINT FORWARD? ALLCAPS TO GET YOUR ATTENTION YOU FUCKING PREVARICATING TWAT.

So are you just refusing to answer the question, or are you unable to?

So we have little to no leverage with sanctions. We've just burned a fuckton of goodwill and cooperation with our allies that took decades to build up, and now you expect them to knuckle under and do what we say, even though they consider killing the deal epically stupid and warned us not to do it? Yeah, uh, good luck with that. Israel as the wild card is another way of saying we're going to war to back them up when they attack. That's the end game. Got any real strategies that, you know, have a chance in hell of working?

You didn't answer the question. What's next? Seems to me you'd get a better deal after the expiration of the existing deal if you abided by the deal when it was in effect - that is, show yourself to be a trustworthy entity that stands by its deals, not one that trashes them on a whim.

For the sake of argument let's assume all the criticisms of the deal as it stood until yesterday are valid (I don't know that that's the case; there are arguments on both sides). That still leaves the question of what replaces the deal. In other words, how does exiting the deal improve our position? We are now negotiating from a much weaker position than we were when the deal was made, so there's no way in hell we can come close to that deal, much less improve it. For those of you saying the withdrawal was a good move, what is the next step? Baba, JBJ, Iconoclast - what say you?
  14. Yup. And ATT sure as shit didn't expect those payments to ever see the light of day. Cohen undoubtedly told them they were secure and untraceable. Because, you know, he's a really smart guy who's got all this stuff figured out.
  15. That didn't seem to improve the outcome for Flynn much.

Beating the drum. Straight out of the Iraq playbook. Will the media and loyal opposition go along with it? Or will they accuse him of wagging the dog? Will congress insist on a formal declaration of war before hostilities commence? Answer key:
  17. Yeah, the Cohen popup LLC was Trump's slush fund to pay off porn stars or whatever other sub rosa payoffs needed to be made, funded by people and firms that wanted favors from the president. Cohen got a 25% cut; knowing Trump he probably got a cut too, because he always wants a piece of the action. I'm guessing there will be about a million in payments going to some Trump company/ies also. That still leaves a couple million for paying off bimbos, plumbers, house painters, or whatever. Pretty fucking swampy indeed.

Oddly enough, that doesn't make me feel better. Trump may get lucky on this, at least short term; the Europeans are pressuring Iran to abide by the terms of the deal even without US participation, and they may do that. So Trump will be able to say he's advanced the ball in some way - see, no bomb yet! The trouble is, he's got no leverage to make a new deal; at this point he wouldn't even be able to get the existing deal, much less a better one. Unilateral sanctions are not as good as sanctions coordinated with many other countries, so the only effect is that we're isolating ourselves. The real aim of the pullout is pretty clearly to put us on a path to war. It's what Bolton has wanted ever since he started growing that mustache, and, not to get all alternative-hypothesis or anything, but Netanyahu has been pushing in the same direction for a long time, and his views seem to have a lot of sway in this administration. I had originally put the favorites for a Trump war at North Korea and Syria in a dead heat, but Iran seems to be coming up fast on the outside.
  19. Yeah, shit's getting weird.
  20. I think it's more important to be able to revoke the license at any time, for good reason. For those already born, that is.
  21. Looks like one of my early attempts at fried chicken. I didn't take pics, though, and sure as hell wouldn't have posted them anywhere if I had.
  22. Hmmm. I don't know if I'm cheaper than you or just dumber. Lotsa parallels, but then a left turn: Broke 90s: check. Broke finger: check (pinky, but it still counts). Slugged down a bottle of ... something or other, I forget exactly what: check. But I didn't have the benefit of a friend with experience, so I just let it heal itself for a while. Damn thing wouldn't heal, though; after about 3 weeks I broke down and went to the doctor 'cause it hurt like a motherfucker. Doc gave me a splint but told me it was probably too late - it had already started to heal crooked. Sure enough, damn thing is still crooked. Makes it hard to put a glove on that hand. And I don't have that money.
  23. Amateur. Let us know when you start cavorting.
  24. The fuck? It's pretty fucking easy to play the clip of him saying "No" when asked if he knew about the payment.
  25. I take my coffee black, in an IV drip. You got a problem with that?
