  1. Counterpoint: We get to play aggy. They have to play Texas.
  2. This. AI on this thread should result in immediate banning.
  3. I don't understand your point. Just because we talk about the polls and are interested in them doesn't mean they have any practical impact.
  4. "Random triceradicks" is peak English language.
  5. What does it matter? Those polls have no practical impact.
  6. My tired brain was at a loss
  7. Has anyone checked in with that bitch North Texas lawmaker that was squaking about Texas running to the SEC to get away from losing to TCU, or some shit like that?
  8. Yeah, but it makes UH look good, and fuck them.
  9. She could jump in the car of one of those visitors that gets such great directions to the stadium.
  10. The only problem with this scenario is that if the dog was smart enough to hide in the women's restroom, she would be smart enough to run away.
  11. Sark has a number of things working in his favor here that facilitate the "player-led team" concept. 1- Demonstrated record of improvement (year 1 - year 4) and now success (B12 Championship and playoff berth). 2- Personal story that he embraces, uses to relate to the players and that they can find a way to identify with and connect to. 3- Recruiting success. Replacing good players with good or better players, will build on point 1. 4- Consistency of teaching - low staff turnover, high-caliber replacements when necessary. 5- Consistency of message - He is absolutely right about how key consistency is to building trust. All of these things create a stable and successful program and allow the culture that he has established to flourish. With that, the natural leaders on the team can emerge and create that "player-led team" concept because they have bought in to his culture and the success that is being enjoyed makes it comfortable for the other players to accept those leaders AS leaders. They are proxies for Sark with the added advantage that they speak in the language that 18-23 year-olds understand. They also bring the added element of peer pressure.
  12. So, Kay Adam's what went under the knife? And who is Kay Adam?
  13. Same. Having said that, I cannot imagine Sark EVER doing something like this and I'm cool with that. Sark is the man.
  14. It's a other way for douchebags to self-identify
  15. I get the coolness of the UT connection, but that "song" FUCKING SUCKS. I cringe (yes, people, that word is a verb, not an adjective) every time I hear it.
  16. Keep your hand still until the last five beats, ya dumb bitch.
