good lord some of you are only capable of viewing this situation through your own selfish recruiting prism. deshon was just in town buying dinner for the dbs. he still cares about UT. maybe just maybe herman is in the wrong here. i know that's difficult to swallow for us fans but let's step back and look at him getting a cosign from conner, the foreman's, jane slater, herman's history with player relationships.

I would accuse you of being DeShon, but your decent grammar (lack of capitalization notwithstanding), spelling and command of the English language make that unlikely.

Looch on texags radio: "aggy is a huge trap game for Clemson in week"

So a great, turditional power like aggy is gonna jump up and bite a national championship contender for a loss? Which one is it, Looch.

I would so love to see both Clemson and 'bama hang 4 TD losses on aggy.

Normal people keep towels somewhere in the bathroom, maybe a cabinet near the shower. Not us. She insists on storing all the towels in a closet out in the hallway called “the linen closet”....an entire storage room dedicated to sheets and towels for a house that only the two of us live in. Forget trying to put anything else in there or she moves it and doesn’t say anything.

Today for the twenty thousandth time I forgot to grab a towel before showering so had walk dripping wet through the bedroom and down the hallway, soaking the floors along the way.I used to stash a couple towels in the cabinet over the toilet but they got moved so she can store the 900 rolls of toilet paper she buys every time there’s a sale on it somewhere.

    That's on you, dude.

Yeah, no. They probably do lose more than 4.  Look at their roster, then look at their schedule. Staying bowl eligible should never be a question for a team with their pansy-assed schedule, but it is a legitimate concern heading into this season.

    You talking about ou?

Oklahoma State to sell beer at Boone Pickens Stadium

    Just throwing this in here:

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP/KXAN) -- Oklahoma State athletics will start selling beer at its venues this fall.

The school made the announcement Thursday in a news release.

Oklahoma State's concessions partner, Sodexo, will administer all beer sales at sporting events following a successful pilot program at Oklahoma State's baseball and softball games during the spring.

At football games, beer will be sold at up to 22 locations adjacent to existing concession stands throughout Boone Pickens Stadium. The offerings will include craft selections. Oklahoma State joins Texas and West Virginia as the only Big 12 schools that will allow fans to purchase beer throughout stadiums.

Earlier in the week, Oklahoma State announced it was devoting more than $1.5 million to concessions enhancements.

The Cowboy football season kicks off at home Aug. 30 against Missouri State.

The University of Texas at Austin only started selling alcohol at its football stadium in the fall of 2015. The decision to start selling alcohol in the general areas of the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium came after the university tested similar sales at other sporting events and in other facilities in 2014.

    Why is this here????

We have two sinks.  I rinse in the left sink and place in the right sink if the dishwasher hasn't been unloaded, but put in the dishwasher if it's empty.   Only problem, wife will unlock the dishwasher after it's done and not put the dishes away.  So unlocked dishwasher to me means dirty dishes.  Shakes head.

Anybody who unlocks the dishwasher and does not immediately empty said dishwasher get yelled at.  They are terrible human beings.

i think it was a good mix, because the people you rooted for believed a certain way, but in the show, they lost more often than they won.  if it got all high and mighty with "this is what we believe, and we're fighting for it, and we won, because it was obvious we were right", it wouldn't have worked.  it also wouldn't have worked as well if they were all on the far right and lost more often.  it was the perfect recipe for enjoyable television.

i think the issue (there were many) with newsroom, is that he tried to replicate characters from west wing, but in a cable news setting.  the problem was you had all these smooth talking, cocky, capable, sarcastic characters in the west wing, brilliantly played by great actors.  at times they would act all high and mighty (see my josh clip above) but shit, they worked in the west wing.  their job was to make the world a better place (in theory).  when you had not as great actors, not as great characters, acting that way when they essentially worked for msnbc, doesn't work so well.  it came off very self-important and made every character unlikable.

Agreed.  Josh is a great example.  He was an interesting character and likeable guy, and you find yourself rooting for him.  But at times the guy was so consumed by his own hubris you also wanted to bang his head against the wall.

And also agreed about The Newsroom.  That one felt less like an idealized view of what our leadership should be and more like a liberal circle-jerk, wet dream rant-fest.

I’m shocked at the amount of people that think she’s actually innocent

Did you watch the series?  Count me firmly in the doubt that she did it category.  I sure as hell can't understand how a thinking person would have voted for conviction.
