  1. Blow it? I doubt we’ll even be in position to blow it. Gundy is about to go into his shell and run the ball every play now the SS threw an INT.
  2. Give up a TD after roughing the punter? Yeah, this is over. Should be a really exciting OU victory though for those without a rooting interest.
  3. 2011 Bedlam unis. We’ll take our chances.
  4. I wanted to throw up listening to him try to make that obvious roughing call seem like Bama got screwed. Fuck him.
  5. So is this the Heisman winning/losing drive for Young?
  6. I couldn’t believe he realized it at the exact moment he should have. Seems like so many of them see it and know they should do something about it, but they drag their feet and miss their shot. And get evicted a week later. Deshaw and Danny may have just made it a little easier for future black competitors on Survivor and BB. If we’d have had a Cookout II, they’d have been the first target in every future season. I still think they’re going to have a difficult go, but at least it will be strategy and not subtle racism.
  7. I don’t think I like Ricard as a person, but I sure enjoy him as a competitor/character. I’m almost rooting for him.
  8. I guess I was thinking in-state rivalry games where we rule. Good to know we have some company.
  9. It is the most lopsided series. I doubt 2nd place is even close.
  10. Wow. Tech getting screwed by the refs. Retribution is a bitch.
  11. Damn. I’m impressed by Pickett.
  12. Did they ever even discuss that or did you figure that out? If so, good job. I'm going to listen to Tyson's podcast at some point today to hear his thoughts on it. The fascinating thing going on this season is the Cookout II is once again doing things that don't benefit their personal game as much as it benefits the alliance. Last night was a mistake by Deshawn in my opinion. He's at the bottom of that alliance just because he's on the wrong side of Shan. He should have taken out her lieutenant to weaken her and worked both sides for a few weeks. There's a good chance the four of them are left standing at the end and future seasons of Survivor and Big Brother are going to be very interesting. The first thing everyone who isn't black is going to say on Day 1 is "We're targeting the black folks, right?" And the racism cries should fall on deaf ears because I'm blown away by how they've stuck together on these two seasons. It's pretty incredible. There's a bigger discussion there that would probably be pretty interesting as to the cause of that.
  13. I kind of see his point. It not that he expected her to throw it to them, but she actually targeted them. And on a guy's elimination day. Once again, it's Tory proving she's one of the all time worst players by doing shit she doesn't need to do. She's so determined to be some kind of mastermind, and she is completely lacking in the skills to become one. It was completely unnecessary. One of her guys ended up going down there anyway and now her team is even stronger. She needs to leave the thinking to the smarter people in her alliance. Of course, when you're on a team with Big T, Kyle, and Nelson, I can see how someone even with Tory's limited intelligence could think it's her job to be the mastermind. But it's not. As for Kyle, I just don't understand what he is doing. That's at least twice he's done something stupid that cost his team the mission. It's like he's adopted Littlefinger's "Chaos is a ladder" strategy and he's just trying to screw up as much stuff as possible. To what end, I have no idea. Unlike Littlefinger, he leaves his fingerprints all over his dirty work and that shit is starting to accumulate with the other cast members. Who is going to work with him going forward? He's such a loose cannon and he does so much shit that fucks him and his alliance over, it's too big a risk to even attach your game to his in any way. The conversation with CT and him was really getting interesting until Kyle got his feelings hurt about CT questioning if they are friends. I wanted to hear him justify his actions because CT was not having it.
  14. This might be the first time in 40+ years that I have had no idea who this host is. Never heard of him. Off to IMDb to see if I’ve ever seen him in anything. I’ve already forgotten his name.
  15. I’m watching it now and have a question for someone who is all knowing. When Tom met Cate Blanchette for the first time, why did he tell her he was Dickie? Seems like that really complicated shit for him later on.
  16. So do we have a Cookout thing brewing here? They kicked it around a few weeks ago and it seems like they are looking out for each other some, but I can't tell if it's a full blown alliance. If it is, and they have the same level of success as the Cookout did, will targeting the black players first become a valid strategy? Kind of hope they do it just to see what the fallout will be in the future.

What sucks for Jimmy? That he got hurt? I was confused by where they were sending him if that’s what you’re referring to.
  18. Good because that was the only part I was serious about.
  19. OR You've lost to the 4 best teams in the conference and you're the 5th best team in the Big XII. KU is awful, so if you lose this one, disregard this optimistic view and fire everyone. The OU game may have made us think they are on the right path, but currently they are as bad as they usually are. Beat WV on the road, KSU at at home, win your bowl game and finish 8-5. They come back next season with some positive momentum and make a run at the conference championship game. Then you move to the SEC and resume getting your ass kicked on a weekly basis. Ok, never mind. You guys are screwed.
  20. My wife and I watch way too much reality TV. The thing we watch the least of are the ones where they contrive a situation just so they have something to do that week. Gene Simmons old show was fucking terrible with this. It's probably hard to make a contrived situation seem authentic, but that show didn't even seem like they tried. I do like Jersey Shore, but mainly because I've been in it from the beginning and I think the guys can be pretty hilarious. The women are worthless. At least JS tries to make their contrived hijinks seem authentic by keeping them simple. Housewives and Teen Moms look fucking awful and it's the one genre my wife fortunately isn't into. My favs are the competition shows mixed in with some drama like the Challenge, Survivor, and BB before it turned to shit. Amazing Race was pretty good too. The first reply summed it up pretty well. Don't cast social media whores and cast real people who are fans of the show (or shows like it). I think observing human behavior is my favorite part of reality shows though. I just love watching clueless idiots who no self awareness get all huffy about something when they did the exact same thing the week before. Also enjoy getting people's back stories. It helps get invested in the cast.
