  1. Josh. Kaycee if she doesn’t care about people liking her at all. She’s not interesting enough to make a good villain so if she goes that route, I could see her not being consistently cast and slip into Challenge obscurity. Amber needs to forget this stupid BB alliance and make new allies. A Challenge championship should grease those wheels and make it a little easier.
  2. Nothing will please me more than this playing out like it looks it will. Kayce is obviously too injured to finish this, but she isn't going down without a fight. Gobbling up that nasty shit while Fessy just watches her like the bitch he is. Please let the reason they don't win be Fessy pussing out on the food and not Kayce's knee. I feel like Kayce is at a critical junction in her Challenge career. She can either continue to hitch her wagon to Fessy and become someone nobody likes or cut bait and become the hero we all want. I've been team Kayce from her BB days, but this association with Fessy has already brought her from a 9.5 on the fan scale to about a 4.5. One more season of this and she'll be about a 3. Cara Maria is about a 1.5 for reference on this scale I just made up in my head. On the other end of this invented scale is CT and Amber. I want to live in a world where Amber B is a Challenge champion and Fessy is a dishonorable loser. I want this so bad. I want to see her get the sad face if she is paired up with Fessy at any point next season. Maybe even throw in a comment about hoping for a partner with a history of winning and not quitting. And the hilarious things CT will have the chance to say to him next season. Please let me live in this world. Nany is the anchor that will prevent Leroy from winning. Kam and Cory have what it takes to win, but I'm not sure if they can catch CT and Amber. Either way, as long as it's not Fessy, I'm going to be happy.
  3. That whole “show up to work” thing might have been the problem. I keed, I keed! Well, not really. But I typed that with a smile on my face.
  4. Thanks. SP would definitely be the primary one. I imagine whoever is with me won’t be as interested in the trips down memory lane, so TP and CC probably wouldn’t happen anyway.
  5. That's one guy's opinion. I actually appreciate your insider takes. I'd tell SO2 to go fuck himself.
  6. I've been having the same thoughts about the courses I used to play in Dallas all the time from 1988-2004. I especially want to play Stephens Park in Oak Hill. I'd like to revisit Tenison Park and Cedar Crest as well, since I played them a lot too. I'm about 15 strokes better than I was back then, so it would probably be like playing a course for the first time.
  7. I’m making an assumption or two here so let me know if I’m wrong. I think the problem there would be schools can’t have unlimited coaches. I also assume those jobs come with work. So if you hire somebody to do no work, someone has to pick up the slack and do it. So I guess you can go as far as whoever is picking up the slack allows it. Of course, with player movement these days, it’s a big gamble that one of those guys doesn’t rat you out.
  8. We have an opening for an assistant is Stillwater if he's interested.
  9. Good points. I definitely see that side of it, it just seems too cynical for me. Him showing up to work is not irrelevant. It's the most important part of the entire thing. If he isn't showing up for work, then it is literally a pay out and illegal. You are correct about the person not having the position without his relation to the athlete, but isn't that kind of the way the world works? The White House was full of those people. A shitload of coaches seem to have their sons as an assistant coach. To me, not using your connections to get ahead in the world seems dumb. Cannen used us and we used him. Both parties were aware of it and were both pretty happy with that arrangement. I imagine the same goes for most of the guys who have done this in the past. It's definitely a ploy to get the recruit, but I don't really see it as much of an enticement. He could have gotten a lot more in the G-League. So I am going to pretend it's more than a loophole payout to get highly touted recruits on campus. Even if OU does it.
  10. I don't really understand that view. It's a "pay to coach" arrangement with the added benefit of getting a great player. The guy has to show up to work and coach guys. It's not like a no-show job or an invented, overpaid position. I imagine within the scope of things schools do to make a star athlete more comfortable, it probably is fairly low down the list of transgressions.
  11. I don't know anything about the first two paragraphs. I watched every game we played and never heard him referred to as anything other than what we was. The lowest level and lowest paid coach on our team who was hired solely to get his brother and make his short stay in Stillwater a little more comfortable. Now your 3rd paragraph, I have a bit of trouble with. Maybe you didn't read the article, but we did not kick him to the curb. This was his decision and we would have welcomed him back, but he's going to make a lot more money helping his brother manage his multi-million dollar career than he will working with our bigs. I always kind of assumed he'd go with Cade after one year and I imagine HCMB knew that all along. Now if you did read it and are just taking the cynical "everybody is a liar" approach and think we just pulled the rug out from under him and canned him, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I believe our coach and he does not have a reputation for being a liar. Other than that, it sound like we agree on the practice, which is what I was curious about. I'll take all the 5 star recruit's dads we can get.
  12. What do you think of this whole situation? I tried having a discussion on Twitter with an OU fan, but it was pretty pointless since his bias wouldn't let him actually be honest. The only people on Twitter that seem to have a problem with it are Kentucky fans and OU fans and it's not exactly a fruitful exercise to engage with them on it. I thought I'd try with someone who I have confirmed actually has a brain. My opinion is, multiple teams have hired a dad or AAU coach to land a recruit and I never had a problem with it then. It seemed smart to hire Danny Manning or Mario Chalmer's dad to make sure you get them to play for you. Worked out pretty well for KU twice. Is it shady at all? I just don't see it and since I didn't have a problem with two schools hiring Michael Porter Jrs. dad, I don't think I'm being biased here.
  13. Last weekend at Jimmy Clay, I had 28 putts on my round. 8 one putts and 10 two putts. Gotta think that’s my all time best.
  14. Man, I got through 15 min of Summer House and I’m out. A bunch of spoiled rich white people acting shitty. Fuck that. It’s like a Van Der Pump show is like, I imagine. Very unlikeable people.
  15. So what is the best season of Summer House to watch?
  16. Pokes walk off ou. We treat them in baseball like they treat us in football. It’s pretty fun from this side.
  17. Grandma seems cool, as do dogs Good shooting form, but lacking vertical leap to play at the next level Rock Chalk Jayhawk? What am I missing here? You live off Applewood?
  18. Shaka was so bad he turned UT into a stepping stone job.
  19. He's such a fucking doofus. Him and Josh could do a reality show called the Doofus Brothers. Would. Not. Watch. So since she's the rouge agent, Amber B can't be the one to go into the final elimination against Big T. She looked all sad when Darrell got eliminated when she should have been celebrating, though that wouldn't have been very classy. I wonder if Aneesa and Nany instantly figured that out, because one of them has to go in now. Unless they throw Kam in to destroy her and get her partner back. I almost hope it's Nany just to see the look on Fessy's face when she drops him as a partner and goes back to Kyle.
  20. The guy was not there to find a wife or even a serious girlfriend. I believe they call it clout. It was a convenient out for him. What I’ve seen doesn’t make Rachel racist. She was ignorant. Who wasn’t at that age? I believed what she was saying last night. She’s taken way too much shit for this.
  21. That was part of the draw for me. At times, it was so fucking awkward I was squirming in my seat. I had to avert my eyes when he practically had to throw them off the stage at the end.
  22. That sure was a different ATR. Acho goes pretty hard. It was a nice change of pace from the usual fluff
  23. I'm usually an Oscar junkie, but I've seen a total of 3 of the nominated acting performances, 1 nominated director, and 1 of the best picture noms. Fucking pandemic has ruined another thing for me.
  24. It was basically a 100 post argument about semantics. I mean, OSU is basically a middle of the pack Big XII team and I’m happy about it. UT, OSU, and WV could be called middle of the pack and we’re all final fours threats.
