  1. It's so thorough that it's almost distracting. I spend the entire episode trying to find her like she's Waldo. I've always kind of liked Corey, but he's really becoming more and more likable. I wish he'd have a talk with Nelson. Melissa's meltdown seemed to come out of almost nowhere. She had some shit boiling up and it just exploded during the vote. If it hadn't been directed at Josh, I might even say it was uncalled for and over the line with the personal attack. But it's Josh, so I'll allow it. I think Swaggy and Bayleigh did play their game perfectly. Swaggy looked scared before the purgatory. He sure didn't looked fired up to go in there and prove himself like he should have. If I'm correct, I think their strategy was to last as long as they could, try to make a few bonds (could have done better at this), and try to develop some kind of Challenge persona that will get them invited back. I think they accomplished that, but we'll see. If you were familiar with them coming in, they did about as good a job of changing their image as they could. Granted, that doesn't mean I like them, but I might not be opposed to them coming back. And after watching them on BB, that was the absolute ceiling for them. If Nany can convince Kaycee to hook up with her, she will officially be the hook up queen of the Challenge.
  2. If you don't like Kaycee, you're a mean person. Not talking to you specifically. Unless you don't like Kaycee.
  3. I'm pretty picky about what I'll see in the theater, but my wife's bad taste in movies has changed me over the past few years. I'll take a few chances now, but still have never walked out of a movie. I wanted to walk out of Hocus Pocus (Free early screening, so I didn't know anything about it), but I stuck it out. I wish I had walked out of Uncut Gems. We were told it was a great movie. We were lied to.
  4. I’ll bet aggy has never supported Gundy like they have this week.
  5. Me too. You know, it's like, it's like, I'll tell you what it's like. It's like if you were going to....(continues on in a 4 minute analogy that nobody needed because the fucking thing you're discussing is not that complicated!). Anybody else bothered by Doug's insistence on doing stupid ass analogies to explain shit a 12 year old already understands?
  6. You're exaggerating a bit. Unfortunately, you're only exaggerating a bit. It's definitely lopsided.
  7. I'm glad you realized this. It's too bad. He seems to have a lot of opinions, seems like he's informed on the subject, and can string a coherent sentence together. If he wasn't so intent on being the internet tough guy contrarian, I would have liked to have seen a debate between the two of you. If someone refused to admit a coach of young black men supporting OAN is at least problematic, there's really no point continuing.
  8. The only difference? I don't watch either channel, but in the last few days I've seen concrete evidence that OAN is pushing a dangerous, divisive agenda. Saying BLM is a farce and a terrorist group. Their "theory" about that the old man is Buffalo is pretty awful. I keep hearing CNN is the devil, but nobody presents any evidence of this other than they criticize Trump. What is it that they are doing that's so irresponsible? Telling an anti-Trump audience they are correct doesn't seem dangerous. Telling an anti-POC audience* that they are right seems worse to me. * not everybody, I know. But if we can agree there are a lot of people in this country who are racist as fuck, we can also agree they are probably watching OAN.
  9. I know. How this hasn’t come up until now is baffling. Oh, I know. Because Oklahoma.
  10. Gundy needs to go. He’s already the worst recruiter in the conference. Now he’s been outed as supporting a pretty fucking racist organization. Fire his ass tomorrow and promote our new OC. He’ll be in over his head but fuck it. This “promising” season was ending in 8-4 anyway. Gundy would have fucked it up. Now he’s lowered our expectations to a reasonable level.
  11. If the other challengers haven't figured it out by now, fucking with Bayleigh is just not worth the price you're going to have to pay. Better leave Swaggy alone too.
  12. Wow. I have to give Bayleigh a little credit for not murdering Dee before the challenge even ended. I'm sure they edited out her tirade, but still. The way Dee was smiling and cackling while she's screwing Bayleigh out of any chance of winning. I'm guessing Bayleigh does not feel too bad about Dee's life being destroyed this week.
  13. Duh. Cuz I'm a dumbass. Actually, I completely forgot that it had already happened. I thought it was still in the "she's in trouble but not fired" phase. I saw a tweet that I thought was new and thought that was the first official word of it. And to further add to my dumbassness, I don't think I even noticed the end of your sentence "responding to the news last night", until I just now reread your post. That would have been another hint for me. I think I might be kind of bored and not paying that much attention to what I'm reading on social media.
  14. Yes I did. Why are you telling me that? I feel like maybe you thought me saying Goo's dreams coming true was said with condescension (or would it be sarcasm?), like I was not in favor of it. If that's correct, then I want it on record: Fuck Dee. Goo swayed me. She's awful. I don't believe she reached the level of shittiness that Cara, Camila, or Laurel attained. I do believe, had her career not been tragically cut short, she had all the tools to be one of the all time greats. At shittiness. She was just hitting her stride.
  15. Goo's dreams have come true https://ew.com/tv/mtv-challenge-dee-nguyen/?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=entertainmentweekly_ew&utm_term=7C05B130-AA83-11EA-975B-29DF96E8478F&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_content=link&__twitter_impression=true
  16. A sequel to one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen is a bad idea? This is American sir. Do not underestimate America's ability to consume awful shit.
  17. He went through all the bullshit chasing around little immature girls just to end up with the right one that was pretty obvious from the start. I think there's an excellent chance that Claire's season is bad. Our one hope is if the cast is a little older and there's not as many influencers, maybe we'll be fooled into thinking different = better. Or if she goes total bachlorettezilla and creates some crazy ass drama. I was watching when Sean was on, but I didn't know about all the football stuff either. I enjoyed seeing Catherine again in all her awesomeness. I forgot how much I love her. Easily my favorite person to ever pass through this ridiculous show. I could go on for a while, but I think I'll stop now.
  18. Anybody else take in last night’s stroll down memory lane? It was pretty good. I’d like to see them do a one night recap of some of the other reality shows like Survivor, The Challenge, or Big Brother.
  19. Except there was something calming about Knish when he spoke. Nothing in that moving was calming. I won't say it's the worst movie I've ever sat through, but it was easily the least enjoyable experience.
  20. We don’t pay them. They hate you so much they do it pro bono for us. Pretty sweet deal for us.
  21. Racist and not very funny. If you’re gonna be racist, at least be funny. Wait. No. That doesn’t seem right.
  22. Don’t leave out the part where he violated NCAA rules. He was fucking PAYING the kid and the drug dealing would explain where the money came from. This is total bullshit.
  23. Thanks for that. I was just about to tell you to do something terrible to your own asshole. I will not do that now. Your asshole, your choice. I'm so pissed right now my hands are shaking. I feel like a UT football fan after the 2016 OSU game.
  24. It's a tired cliche, but it's also pretty damn accurate. When KU violates NCAA rules, Southern Miss is going to get hammered. Unfortunately, we are Southern Miss. They better appeal this and win or I'm done watching CBB. This is total bullshit. We cooperate and get what is going to amount to the death penalty (that's about the effect it will have on the program)and KU denies everything and is uncooperative and you know they won't even get a slap on the wrists.
  25. I'm probably naive, but I didn't get that. It might have been petering out and leading to this the past few seasons, but if I remember correctly, they were directly responsible for send each other home the past few seasons and they did each other fairly dirty. And it's hard to fake the level of glee each of them got from doing that. That would be a 3 year long con and I just don't think either of them were ready to bury the hatchet yet. I'm thinking after Bananas got Wes evicted (with help from Laurel and Josh), he probably went to Wes with a laundry list of why this was the perfect time to bury the hatchet and work together. We've even. I got you and you got me We're becoming dinosaurs in this game and we might want to try to delay our extinction. Plus, we can't leave this game to the Josh's and Swaggy's. But mostly, this will make GREAT reality TV. They both love to play the showman and they both delivered big time this season. I loved their bromance and I hope they work together from here on out. Assuming I'm even close (especially on the last one), it wouldn't surprise me if they had a little secret meeting off camera, probably with the producers, and realized last night would be the perfect ending to the beginning of this story arc. That was just too perfect a chance to make some really good reality TV. The elimination was even perfect for this since it didn't favor either guy. I don't know how long it takes to build that elimination set, but if there's time, that might have been part of the deal. Two legends of the game going heads up in an even match up with both guys agreeing to shake hands at the end and be a good winner and loser. Either something like that happened or this show just got the most amazing convergence of events it could ever ask for.
