  1. And yet, I bet you’ve seen Happy Gilmore 20 times.
  2. That would make sense. That guy is a raging asshole so him alienating his entire family would be in character.
  3. This is correct. TD just tried to pull off the gritty Daniel Craig Bond about 25 years too soon.
  4. I can't imagine there's a better redemption story from reality TV that Mike's. That guy was a pretty big piece of shit, but he's really turned his life around. CT on the Challenge is probably his stiffest competition.
  5. There's one of those rattling around in my head that I can't recall either, but I don't think the one I'm trying to remember was from Survivor. All I can recall is she was an abrasive chick with a dysfunctional family history and everybody on the show got a video from home except here. Maybe it was Big Brother.
  6. A bunch of heartless bastards on here. I don't mind it either, and the dream crushing is always a highlight to the season. People hold that grudge till day 39. And kevwun is right. The worst ever was the final day montage.
  7. He was like a little kid getting to play against his hero. I think I've seen Jay on 3 different shows and he always comes off as likable. I'm hoping he becomes a regular on here.
  8. I kind of like Dee coming into this season, so your Dee tirades were getting tiresome to me. But fucking A, she has dialed the crazy up to 11 this season and I've come around to your point of view. I can't figure out what her end game is or if she even has one. Cock block Rogan? Get Rogan back? Be friends and in an alliance with Rogan? I have no idea, but that shit with Jay last night was fucking bullshit. I think she's managed to do the impossible and make Rogan a sympathetic character. He sure doesn't deserve this shit.
  9. I didn't have to look far for a great nominee for weakest. 1968 looks like total shit: 1968 (41st) Oliver! Funny Girl The Lion in Winter Rachel, Rachel Romeo and Juliet The academy fucked that year up. They decided that batch of shit is better than these movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey The Odd Couple Bullitt Rosemary's Baby The Producers
  10. I've always loved 1967. The Graduate was always my favorite movie until Pulp Fiction came along. Bonnie & Clyde -enough said. In the Heat of the Night is just awesome. Saw it at the theater a few months ago. After that, it get's a bit weak though. Coincidentally, I'm watching Guess Who ... (in 30 minute chunks) right now. It doesn't translate very wells to the current culture, but Hepburn, Tracy, and Poitier make it palatable. I can't believe Dr Dipshit took Cool Hand Luke's spot. Fix that and I have a really good argument. 1967 (40th) In the Heat of the Night Bonnie and Clyde Doctor Dolittle The Graduate Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
  11. Our guys going to start putting the heat on Greg Brown. https://twitter.com/DonovanW_/status/1250303311388880899?s=20
  12. Watching Sophie’s Choice for the first time in probably 25 years. Streep & Kline are amazing.
  13. Yeah that first episode really concentrated on a handful of contestants and completely ignored about half of them. Since it's set up in the BIP format, I have hopes for this show.
  14. I did. Like I said, it’s BIP with a little music. I’m not sure at this point how music is even going to factor in, but it’s secondary to the drama.
  15. This is BIP with music replacing whatever activities they do on the dates. You guys might as well start watching now. You know you’re gonna.
  16. I'm kind of hoping his dad holds the most sway https://pistolsfiringblog.com/five-star-greg-browns-father-likes-idea-of-pairing-son-with-cade-cunningham/
  17. I think you guys are missing the boat. I’m hoping it’s going to be like BIP with....fuck. I started that sentence assuming I’d end up with something by the end of it. Still in.
  18. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It’s good.
  19. Yes, but imagine the satisfaction he feels as he sits in his dimly lit study, smoking a pipe (in his smoking jacket of course), a snifter of brandy in his hand and watching PBS looking down on all of us philistines.
  20. Wes and Bananas totally destroyed poor Jenn. Humiliating the hot new chick on her way out the door was kind of low. But it was also kind of funny and I can't imagine we will ever see her again.
  21. What did you think of this movie on rewatch, assuming you haven't seen it in 20+ years. I'd never seen it so I watched it a month ago. I'm fairly certain it's one of the worst movies I've ever made it all the way through. Even adjusting my expectations and going in knowing what I was watching, it somehow failed to even come close to my low expectations.
  22. Thanks for saving me some typing. Ditto
  23. Gawd, I'd love to see that video with a split screen of various aggys watching the kick.
