  1. I just can't fathom taking Walker from Georgia number 1. However, I'm not entirely sold on Hutchinson either. I think I might shoot for the moon with the left tackle from NC State or really look to trade down.
  2. I made my one big baseball bet on the Reds under 74.5. I can't wait to have to sweat it out after their 3-15 start.
  3. If a true sociopath walks the earth, I am convinced it is Bart Whitaker. Not to go cloak room, but if his name was Ja'Thomas Whitaker and the facts were the exact same, he would be in the grave right now.
  4. Flying to Dublin in May. Currently just in economy with the poors. I'm 6'5". Normal domestic flights, I am fine for the most part. My knees tend to hurt by the end. 8 hour flight from O'Hare to Dublin. There are several economy plus seats available. Is it worth the extra $139.00? I assume it is just for sheer comfort.
  5. I had heard they were booked until 2024 but didn’t think that could be right. I bet they work you in.
  6. We went in late February and got great weather. I don't know how many of the courses you are playing, but if you have to skip one, Old Mac, to me is the weakest. Some people love it. Play the par 3. We did the lighted up night putting at the punch bowl and it was really really cool.
  7. Lol. I did. Grandfather played basketball there. Dad and uncle played golf there. It was free. From where I’m from going to Oklahoma City, just the town, is noteworthy. Worked out fine in the end. 12 to one girl to guy ratio.
  8. I was talking to a family friend that played on tour for a long time. Played in several Masters, a ryder cup, etc.. Asked him what his first memory of what made Augusta National "different". Said he teed off on one on his very first time out. Was walking maybe 20 yards off the first tee and looked down and there was a maaaaybe 1" patch of clover. It was circled in white as ground under repair.
  9. I got recruited to play golf at some of the Ivys. Got accepted into Yale. Parents didn't want me that far away from home. Fast forward a couple years, and we are paired with Yale in a college golf tournament in Florida. We have to ride because the course is too hard to walk. Guy from Yale asks if I will drive the cart because he had to study. Spent 36 holes with him hitting a shot, getting back in the cart and studying World Religion. Hindsight, I should have gone and at least tried for a year, but I don't know how long I would have lasted.
  10. Sorry. Totally agree. Was thinking the museum. The National Memorial is stunning. They did a wonderful job on it.
  11. Neighborhood Jam is a great breakfast spot. Waffle Champion is good and close to the others you have mentioned. Ludivine is great. Gray Sweater is another option. The chef there just got a James Beard nomination, I think. The OKC Dodgers are in town and the ballpark is really nice and close. Skydance is great. Prairie is great. Like the other guy said, Stone Cloud is great. Bombing Memorial is right there and incredible but not for the little kids. Sidecar is a cool cocktail bar by Skydance and Prairie that makes good craft cocktails. Jimmy B's on Broadway is in an old Mercedes dealership that has a great happy hour and cocktail/beer menu. The First Americans Museum is really cool.
  12. Well, he's going to make the cut if he can continue to walk. The longer he holds up, the more interesting it will get.
  13. Just feels like Justin Thomas' time to win another major.
  14. Cody Canada playing REK’s Shades of Gray is surprisingly awesome. It’s on the Undone: A Musicfest Tribute.
  15. I love, love, love Murray State -2.5 today. Sprinkled some on Memphis, Arkansas, and Richmond
  16. I felt like I was sitting in an elementary school cafeteria chair while in the sky. Never ever again.
  17. Add in Geronimo's for dinner, and you've just had a perfect food day.
  18. I guess I should have prefaced with that I’m not licensed or practicing in Texas.
  19. Avoiding probate. Probate takes a long time. Costs more money than a good estate plan. Puts undo burden on your kids or beneficiaries to make tough decisions that you could have already done for them. There’s basically seamless transfer of assets to your beneficiaries if held in a trust. You want all your assets, home, cars, beneficiaries to your investment accounts, life insurance, bank accounts, etc.
  20. Hell of a deal if you got all of that for 1500
  21. Worth the money. You are going to pay for it now or your kids can for your estate to go into probate when you and the wife die. Probate costs more money and makes public all of your assets and debts. Why mess with that? $3,500 is in range depending on what all comes with it. Our Trust "package" for a couple is 2 wills, 2 Durable power of attorneys, 2 medical power of attorneys, 2 advance directives, a deed to put your home into the trust, and a memorandum of trust.
  22. Trader Joe's has some awesome Orange Chicken that we put in the air fryer and then grab some udon noodles from Costco. Stir Fry some vegetables and assemble. Takes about 8 minutes and is really good.
  23. What does it take monetary wise to run your operation annually? After your sunk cost of the house, machinery, etc. I’m fascinated. I live vicariously through you. Can only imagine the greatness of the solitude
  24. Apparently going to use NIL deals to try and get the best college players. Feeder system to the tour to build new stars.
