  1. I thought on the radio they were talking about the Wind Shield Temperature instead of Wind Chill.....
  2. As for the libel lawsuit potential, Garrett's attorney would be remised to point out that she is a public figure. With the notoriety of the hand and her social media presence, she has the ability to defend herself. I think I fall on side she cheated. "Thought you had ace high", she'd be dominated. "I had blockers" well how would you know what hand you are blocking? "I thought I had J3". She takes a like 4 looks at her cards during the hand and time extension. I doubt there will ever be proof either way, and I imagine Garrett splits the money with her or something as a compromise.
  3. Southern Pines is dope. Can't speak to the others. What courses are you playing at Pinehurst?
  4. Have a 500 dollar keeper league. You get to keep one player at where you drafted him the year before. We won last year so we have pick 12. Options to me are Mark Andrews as a 4th (pick 37) or Michael Thomas as a 7th (pick 84). Both are good value. Jameis can push the ball downfield. It’s just if Thomas can stay healthy. Andrews may get a ton of targets with Hollywood Brown gone. Also could keep Devante Adams as pick 12.

Saw him in Little Rock last month. Still brilliant. Can tell the road has gotten him tired. Hopefully he will play a couple of shows a year.
  6. Recipe please. That looks RIGHT up my alley.
  7. @Al_4_ISUOasis Falafel will make believers out of anyone. Place is absolutely nails.
  8. Career best is 279. Started with 10 straight strikes and threw the 11th in the ditch. Average about 165-70. Play in a 9 pin-no tap league every winter. Have thrown a couple 300s in that. I've got a hook ball and a straight ball for the 10 pin spare pickup. Once threw 15 straight strikes in the middle of two games.
  9. Burger. American cheese. Grilled onions, HEB jalapeño bacon, bread and butter jalapeño pickles, and HEB jalapeño pimento cheese. Plowed.
  10. I had the original strand, pre vaccine. Developed pneumonia in both lungs, too. Went to the ER when my pulse ox number was 84. Wouldn't recommend.
  11. Bill Simmons had an interesting idea for the draft. IIRC he proposed a draft "wheel" that told you which pick you would get that year, and then the next year, the "wheel" would rotate once to what pick you get the coming year. So the teams would know beforehand what pick in the draft they have for future years. Like if you got the 1st pick one year, the next year you get 30, then 15, then 16, then 2, then 29, etc. A. It would eliminate tanking, B. First round draft picks could increase or decrease in value depending on the year and what number you had. C. It would incentivize teams to build from within. It's not perfect by any means, but it is an interesting idea. It couldn't be put into effect until the last conveyed picks are selected, so like 2030.
  12. Lots of things he could have done that some of the players leaving brought to him as what needed to change. Release shot footage to the players for their brand. Move Champions Tour age to 45. Appearance Fees where players/caddies don’t take a loss showing up Allow them to play LIV events but have to play a minimum PGA Tour schedule. Make the players play every event once every 3-4 years. That boosts fields on your weaker events. PGA U gets top 5 players in college a PGA Tour card, not Korn Ferry.
  13. It's truly laughable how bad the PGA Commissioner screwed this up.
  14. Still wish Stoops would have scored 100 that day.
  15. Agree on small market teams. They have to hit if they make it high up in the lottery. Places like LA, Miami, NY, etc. can build teams through free agency. Not a lot of people lining up to play in Sacramento, Salt Lake City, OKC, San Antonio, Memphis, Milwaukee, Detroit, Orlando, or Charlotte. Can bring FAs in to those markets if you’ve hit on your high picks/contend.
  16. Since 2000, 7 of 22 number two overall picks have made one all star game. Since 1990, 12 have made it. You can be a really really good player and not make all star teams. Especially in a small market since the team is voted on by the public.
  17. Twitters fault. My apologies
  18. More like I’m an idiot. I meant to say 2. Hamilton easy one. Tim Raines last appeared like 9 days after Rickey retired. My apologies. I’ll do better.
  19. Since Rickey Henderson retired with 1406 stolen bases, there have been 3 players that have reached half that many steals. Name them.
  20. Since I was in Oklahoma, I thought that I’d go to VY just to make my point hurt more. There’s lots of Big 12 QBs that have been better than Johnny. Colt, VY, Kyler, RG3, Baker, Bradford, and even Mahomes/Harrell were both great. The way he whipped his head around out of rage when I started off was amazing. So angry. So little brother. I had to look up what a Sip was. Lol. That’s ever more little brother. I can’t believe you have to put up with it 24/7 365.
  21. I was sitting in a bar in Oklahoma City. Minding my own business. Guy to the right of me was having an intense conversation with a buddy about Johnny Manziel being the best quarterback in college football history. I look over, he’s got his Aggie ring on. A&M polo. I have no dog in the fight, I went to a small college with no football. As I walked out, in passing, said “Johnny couldn’t hold Vince Young’s jock”. He gets furious and yells “get out of here you Sip!”. I reply “congrats on your upcoming 8-4” and walk out. So, I guess I was an honorary Texas fan yesterday. I don’t know how you deal with that cult all year round.
  22. I’m not saying it’s expensive. Just that it used to be stupid cheap for the quality of food
