  1. The odds favorite for 2028 ticket would have to be JD and Vivek at this point.
  2. Fat Chris Christie is probably right, but if Biden had held to his commitment to only serve one term Kamala would not have been at the top of the ballot.
  3. I hope to pull the lever on this guy in the morning. Not looking forward to the sloppy walk to the blind. IMG_0012.MOV
  4. Hey wouldn’t it be fun to work in a weekday hunt and take a few calls from the trailer in between. Yeah sounds great. Flash flooding ensues, get to watch a lightning strike a walmart literally as I walk out the door with some supplies, driving sideways across the hay field in the dark slanging mud. On bright side, the rv isn’t leaking and there is bourbon.
  5. Imagine what Iran would look like today if the British and Americans weren’t so offended by Iran nationalizing their natural resources in the 50s.
  6. The grill out at the land rusted up and won’t swing over the fire, so I just threw this guy right on the coals. Certainly brings the wood flavor out.
  7. Have not seen this guy on camera before. This may be the biggest body I have seen on this land. Hope he makes his way to the other feeder for breakfast. 672533ea07d4ba633d758357_hdVideo.mp4
  8. lol. I see it. But no rat. Parisa. Think steak tartar with onions jalapeños and American cheese. The rat eyes are peppercorns.
  9. Too damn hot for this shit. But there are worse ways to spend a Friday afternoon. Snacker in the blind.
  10. That is the WL student section on the visitor side.
  11. The larger orgs sell or license the images in a deidentified format through a company like truveta. Licensing those data does not cost much in the grand scheme of things. I don’t think that medical images such as MRI are copyright able. But if they are you just license it from the owner.
  12. It was talked about in real time in the election thread. Same observation was made over there. You're gonna have to find a way to frame it in a tweet and in a way where there is a trump surrogate involved to evoke a reaction here.
  13. Betting, I mean "prediction", markets are moving towards tighter EC results. The people on the 105+ are primarily meth addicts.
  14. I don't love anything about that one other than the odds. I think that I would rather be in on a coin flip in WI.
  15. Didn't see this article wrt portland and WA ballot box fires posted. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/29/us/ballot-box-fires-oregon-washington-gaza.html Investigators responding to arson fires at two ballot boxes in the Pacific Northwest this week found devices at both scenes marked with the words “Free Gaza,” according to two law enforcement officials. Investigators are trying to determine if the perpetrator was actually a pro-Palestinian activist or someone using that prominent cause to sow discord, one of the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing. But the message has added a heightened layer of political sensitivity to a closely watched investigation in the final days of a tense presidential election. The fires both occurred early Monday within a short time of each other in Portland, Ore., and just across the state line in Vancouver, Wash. The “Free Gaza” message appeared not only on the two devices, which were discovered on Monday, but also on a device found at a third ballot box this month in Vancouver, according to the law enforcement officials. That device also had the words “Free Palestine” on it. Officials said at a news conference that they believed all three events were linked. They later released surveillance images of a suspect vehicle, asking for the public’s help in identifying the person driving a dark, early 2000s Volvo. “There was enough evidence collected at all three scenes that lead us to believe that all three incidents are connected, and we cannot get into more detail,” Mike Benner, a spokesman for the Portland Police Bureau, said on Monday.
  16. Looks like I will be taking the AR with me when I head out to the lease this year. I am getting pics like this at both feeders.
  17. IDF is effectively using the distractions of the ongoing American political theatre. American media won’t muster even the superficial coverage that some of the recent days would typically generate cause they are too busy focusing on a roast comedian and whatever uncle Joe is rolling out from the basement.
  18. This is a good example of the twitter misinformation machine, and why embeds should be turned off in the CR. There are zero media reports out there that identify this individual as a republican. That appears to be totally manufactured nonsense. The situation in AZ was a man lighting a regular USPS drop box on fire, not a ballot drop box. Every article I have seen shares quotes from the investigating officers that report that the fire was not politically motivated, was not targeting the election, and the perp was an individual well known to the local police that wanted to do something to get himself arrested. But here we are. Here is an article directly related to this incident: https://www.azfamily.com/2024/10/24/usps-blue-collection-box-damaged-by-fire-overnight-phoenix/ Here is the police statement: https://www.phoenix.gov/policesite/MediaAdvisories/Arson 3900 N 7th Ave.pdf Here is another from a prior run in with police: https://www.abc15.com/news/crime/pd-duct-taped-suspect-held-for-glendale-police-after-attacking-surprise-officer
