  1. That's a 2WD SR5 that has been badged up as a TRD Pro, right? Still seems like a pretty damn great price if the history is clean.
  2. ymmv, but I've booked a few hotel rooms (Marriott) recently with very good rates with the AAA discount.
  3. You have to tip the hat to the lifelong commitment to the BLT.
  4. You just wrapped a both sides in your both sides deflection. it’s ok to just acknowledge that that particular accusation is stupid and baseless at this point.
  5. I don’t disagree, but that’s a very weird way to define being a traitor to one’s country. it’s ok to just acknowledge that that particular accusation is stupid and baseless at this point. It reflects only brain damage to be unable to do so.
  6. Maybe you just have brain worms. Musk is a lot of things, some including serious psychopathology. But he is not a traitor to his country. That’s just silly shit the politically brain damaged run out when they are flashing their own psychopathology.

Damn. That looks great. Fuck. This one too.
  8. State sponsor of ethnic cleansing at the moment. Focused terrorism would probably be a step in a direction with fewer mass casualties.
  9. NYT reporting that the bomb was planted in the guesthouse months ago and remotely detonated. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/01/world/middleeast/how-hamas-leader-haniyeh-killed-iran-bomb.html? Ismail Haniyeh, a top leader of Hamas, was assassinated on Wednesday by an explosive device covertly smuggled into the Tehran guesthouse where he was staying, according to seven Middle Eastern officials, including two Iranians, and an American official. The bomb had been hidden approximately two months ago in the guesthouse, according to five of the Middle Eastern officials. The guesthouse is run and protected by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and is part of a large compound, known as Neshat, in an upscale neighborhood of northern Tehran. Mr. Haniyeh was in Iran’s capital for the presidential inauguration. The bomb was detonated remotely, the five officials said, once it was confirmed that he was inside his room at the guesthouse. The blast also killed a bodyguard. The explosion shook the building, shattered some windows and caused the partial collapse of an exterior wall, according to the two Iranian officials, members of the Revolutionary Guards briefed on the incident. Such damage was also evident in a photograph of the building shared with The New York Times. Mr. Haniyeh, who had led Hamas’s political office in Qatar, had stayed at the guesthouse several times when visiting Tehran, according to the Middle Eastern officials. All of the officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to share sensitive details about the assassination.
  10. I still think that one was a matter primarily of "fuck around in the wrong place at the wrong time and you find out". The target was acquired when he left Qatar for Iran. Of course, the happy secondary impact is that he was one of the chief negotiators and foreign relations reps involved with the ceasefire talks.
  11. So full scale war in the Middle East is gonna be the election treat. Awesome. Some of you people are absolute ghouls.
  12. Zero problem with decapitation targeting Hamas leadership. Certainly better than the genocide and ethnic cleansing play we’ve been watching. There will be ramifications wrt ceasefire talks though. Haniyeh was one of hamas’ lead negotiators. How much that may have played into the assassination who knows. Probably just taking the shot since he was vulnerable and outside of Qatar.
  13. Gonna include some process photos on this one. Lamb kleftiko wrapped in grape leaves. This is basically lamb and vegetables cooked in a parchment wrapper. Like campfire pouches we all did camping with fish or whatever in foil. Just different scale. First time doing this, the presentation turned out on point. The seasoning game needs to go harder. I did not know how the grape leaves would hold up to a 2-3 hr cook, so decided to cook the kleftiko in the usual style just wrapped in parchment and then finish for 45m or so in the grape leave package. Also, rib snackers. Took the shoulder meat and cut it up into small pieces and mixed with the stewed onions and peppers and tomatoes, stuffed into molds that I lined with parchment and grape leaves. Gonna eventually doing it from start to finish in the grape leaves packs. I was using some canned leaves, and they will certainly hold up to a longer cook imo. Will have this one dialed in with a couple more attempts. Concept stolen without shame from a restaurant on skiathos.
  14. Catching up on the netflix thing. Total clown show.
