  1. Come on man. That shit got us to the moon. I mean. Velcro and Nazi rocket scientists.
  2. Not even like a little bit of sentimentalism?
  3. Probably more than velcro. But it is close.
  4. Not nearly as much as Ike did.
  5. Speaking of propaganda strawmanning. I have no such contempt for the Ukrainian people. It's the people that are moving the pieces in this little great powers drama that has been playing out for the last 30 years that have absolute contempt for the Ukrainian people. They are happy to continuing using Ukraine as a pawn to their own devices.
  6. IIRC, she posted under the name "Mother Russia" back in the hornfans days. I don't know what kind of weird shit, nor the projection involved, entails. And don't really care to. I don't know, I guess I just remember things. I am amazed that some of you are able to goldfish brain your way through life to be honest.
  7. In my experience it takes a lot longer than expected to get there. I do oven method and then try to dial it in further on the stove top. But as stated I still struggle getting it as dark as I would like.
  8. May his memory be eternal. That's extremely understandable.
  9. Please make the contribution to mobile loaves and fishes in memoriam of YGIS on the message line.
  10. The vast majority of the related posts are responses to posters like you saying dumb shit like "The Steele dossier is the bible....Dead on balls accurate." and then laughing at you when I am proven correct.
  11. Ask 956, he bumped the thread with the topic by quoting a nearly three year old post.
  12. I see the goal posts moving. Look the Afghan bounty charge was serious, and was timed to influence political debates wrt the Afghan withdrawal. That it is timed again now to reemerge, after sitting dormant for four years, is, I guess, for others to piece together.
  13. Does your wife wear her knitted yellow and blue hat while she pegs you? Or does she just make you wear her pink one?
  14. You don't think that it's politically impactful? Shit the NYT piece brought out substantial opposition to the withdrawal from Afghanistan. I mean usual suspects like a Cheney, but nonetheless.
  15. I gave you commander of centcom as well. Feel free to offer alternate specs. But go ahead and stand by the Insider story. It's substantively the same as the NYT's one in 2020 in terms of the evidence stream directly related to the bounty charge. And look if the charge is true, we can all agree that it is a gamechanged. But you just can't wishcast it into existence.
  16. I don't want to negotiate with myself, but I will also take action on the 180 window with a 360 day result.
  17. Or lets try something different. A wager. If commander of Centcom or Secretary of Defense, both of which are on the record wrt this subject, issue a statement where they substantively change their assessment in the next 60 days, I won't post on CR or DT for 180 days. If after 60 days they do not, you don't.
  18. Cite the new evidence that corroborates the bounty claim specifically. Should be easy. I mean I can cite the part where you regurgitated the old evidence in like 30 seconds.
  19. LOL. Goldfish food. The bounty claim specifically is based on the same detainee humint that could not be corroborated previously. This time framed as coming from NDS sources. But you known the sourcing, it says so in your article. And accusing others of dissembling is just icing on the cake.
  20. Point out the new sourcing and new evidence streams. Just cause is says it in a bait click twitter post doesn't make it true.
  21. Speculation, yes. Serious charges require serious evidence. What the propaganda artist posts is the same sourcing that got ran out back in 2020. Let me know when the commander of Centcom and Secretary of Defense change their assessments. Military officials say they have looked hard but found no other evidence to corroborate that such a program existed. In September, Gen. Frank McKenzie, commander of the U.S. Central Command, whose remit includes Afghanistan, told NBC News, "It just has not been proved to a level of certainty that satisfies me." "We continue to look for that evidence," the general added. "I just haven't seen it yet. But … it's not a closed issue." McKenzie's comments reflected a consensus view in the military. Defense Secretary Mark Esper told the House Armed Services Committee in July that "All the defense intelligence agencies have been unable to corroborate that report. "That has not changed, a senior official with direct knowledge told NBC News Thursday. McKenzie said in September that if he could establish that the Russians were offering payments to kill Americans, he would push to forcefully respond. But the intelligence is far from conclusive, he said. "I found what they presented to me very concerning, very worrisome. I just couldn't see the final connection, so I sent my guys back and said, look, keep digging. So we have continued to dig and look because this involves potential threats to U.S. forces, it's open," he said, adding, "I just haven't seen anything that closes that gap yet." A U.S. military official familiar with the intelligence added at the time that after a review of the intelligence around each attack against Americans going back several years, none has been tied to any Russian incentive payments.
  22. Rehashing of shit that’s been shot down by centcom commander and secretary of defense. Dunny thr timeline on this one if you step back.
  23. LOL. Found a bag of goldfish food, huh,.
  24. lol. Not sure that’s what the card says but gotdamn.
  25. Sorry this is happening to you.
