Most people are talking about the tip ball INTs because those are what is important. What difference does that make anyway? Regardless, we had a lot more this year than last year total batted balls or not. I bet you can't even remember a single batted ball from last season. You guys like to derail a point when it doesn't fit your narrative. The point was last year when Jones was in we didn't see batted balls from his side with any frequency. He kept Campbell straight in pass pro. This was admitted to by the linemen themselves. He didn't lead the country in penalties. And he didn't bust protection like Williams does. The assertion that the line is better this year based on experience is laughable. Every stat that linemen are graded on when it comes to team success will be worse this year. Rushing yards per attempt. Sacks given up. Batted balls. That's the signs that a line is better not PFF grades. PFF grades don't show line cohesion and teamwork. Results do.
