  1. IU is playing above their heads here. If this was a warm weather game they likely win. Not sure about today.
  2. Except it's not a false accusation when Some people were all over this thread in year one shit posting weekly. Then they were nowhere to be found last year all the way to the playoff. Now all the sudden they pop up from the dead like Voldemort. Whoever fits that description is most def a hater.
  3. Yeah. I fully expected that to be picked up.
  4. This is who they are. Risk takers. The true all gas no brakes offense.
  5. This is the kind of game Ole Miss loses.
  6. Yall notice the same detractors here are the same people who said Sark wouldn't win more than 7 games, and are currently over in the Ewers thread?
  7. Useless is this response you posted here. Anytime I am in opposition of your opinion I know I am on the right track. Thanks for the validation. You and Helobious must be related.
  8. We are NOT talking about the play you are talking about. Not even in the slightest.
  9. Not off the double screen action they don't which is why teams have been crashing it because they don't have to worry about a counter. Just put it on film once and it will slow teams down.
  10. We need to run a fake block and wheel off of that double screen action since teams are so aggressive with it. I haven't watched enough Chiefs that I remember that play but it sounds good.
  11. Probably because we run the same variation of plays in the opening script.
  12. Arch is going to be a monster my guy. I think we all know that. I just hope he hangs around until he is a senior. It's going to be a great 3 years if he does. He has a poise that you can tell has been coached into him by the three ho-hum quarterbacks in his family. Once he learns not to take the big shots all the time and speed up his progression reads, he is going to win a lot of games. We look to be set for a long time.
  13. MSU looked like us last year and the year before where we struggled getting to the QB no matter what we did. Penix is still throwing footballs in the Sugar Bowl. If only we had this year's pass rush.
  14. No one said Worthy and AD were never good. However, if you are watching the NFL the same issues they had here they are having there. This might be the best post on those whole thread. I spit out my drink. Pos rep!!
  15. Sark is very stubborn with his gameplan. He has a QB that is perfect for a 4 wide, get the ball out quick kind of offense but he has to be a couple TDs down before he opens things up. That's his kryptonite. Change. That said, his refusal to run gimmicky offenses IS the reason so many good QB recruits like him. So you take the good with the bad I guess. There most def were plays that were biffed. But sometimes we make offense hard is all. Spread concepts negate the 3 high look and forces obvious 1v1s.
  16. 4 and 5 wide prevents you from disguising much. Plus how many teams go that deep on good DBs? Arkansas not having legit pass rushers doesn't help either. We were out there in 12 personnel playing right into their hands.
  17. First thing this is some made up BS. I have a source that is extremely plugged in. I sit down and talk to this source IN PERSON a couple times a week and he shares stuff he cannot talk about on air with me. In fact, we were sitting at a game together when Sark called and he had to duck out and take it. People in here that know me in person and know where I live will know who it is I am talking about. I have promised to not ever share what I know is going on behind the scenes in detail so I will just sum it up like this. It's not that complicated. Arch is good but is behind Quinn on diagnosing the field and that's why he isn't starting. He is impatient, wants to take the big shot, and regularly misses the easy underneath throw for the guy in double coverage. Both these guys have holes in their game and Sark went with the guy he thought he had the best chance to win with. Sark is very good at talent evaluation and that's why we don't see wild misses with him. Everyone under Sark who wasn't starting showed exactly why they weren't starting when they got some playing time. And that's the full answer. Not wild conspiracy theories.
  18. The saying is true. "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". Again. It doesn't matter where the ball is thrown vs Washington ole buddy is closing fast and would've broken it up. Had Mitchell run the Houston route vs Washington the Washington DB wouldn't be anywhere close to the ball no matter where it was thrown because of the separation on the break. Now out of respect for you I will leave it at that but you won't find a single coach that will tell you the Washington route was the right one.
  19. 7:34 mark below Same receiver and same play to the other side vs Houston. Watch AD take a hard step inside and watch the sep it gives him when he cuts back outside. This is how you run that route. It doesn't matter how far off the DB is. The hard fake close to the goal line will get the reaction you need. This is what Quinn is expecting. Now contrast that with the route run against Washington. Night and day difference.
  20. What are you talking about? The DB breaks on the route and no matter where that ball was thrown he was going to be there to contest it. He only jumped because he saw it was high. If it was low he would've been there to get his hands on it too. In fact, he broke so quickly that had it been a low throw he could've stepped in front of it. The problem is the route. AD needs one hard left inside step to make the DB take one step inside and he catches this ball uncontested. He never sold anything to the inside. Anyone who has played receiver, DB, or QB can tell you that is an awful route. In fact, I challenge you to find anywhere saying that is a good route. DBs are taught to protect inside out. One hard step inside and the DB will bite.
  21. It's like you never played sports. Go look at Mitchell's listed height here at Texas, and Jackson isn't 6'1 either(hasn't been to the combine yet). Regardless, even on video there is a significant height difference.
