  1. Dude quit trying to start fights for no reason. Just stop. Quarterbacks are going to make mistakes. And quarterbacks who are under pressure are going to make more mistakes than normal. You know this to be true but here we are trying to argue about it anyway.
  2. That's what the issue is with stats. They don't say whether you could run it when you needed to.
  3. What are you talking about? No one is spinning anything.
  4. Because we protected well. No busts. Receivers recognized blitzes. Smart and Muschamp found a couple things and kicked our ass with them. That's elite defensive minds for you. I said this shortly after the game but needs repeating. They clearly worked on us all summer for that game. People aren't going to want to hear this but that is probably the best thing that happened to us. It taught a lot of lessons, especially since Vandy was able to replicate it. So now Sark and crew have to go back to the drawing board and if we see Georgia again they won't have prepped for months for us.
  5. Agreed. While Vandy was in our playbook big time. They refused to fall prey to most of our usual patterns and were determined to keep us in front of them. Sark didn't really try to punish them for it either.
  6. Yeah I saw him at Ethan Allen the other day......for what it's worth don't google "man humping couch" when trying to find an entertaining gif for your JD Vance joke. Gross!
  7. We ran a lot of 12 personnel and they were in cover 3. At that point you only have two deep threats on the field and corners are bailing to their deep 3rd. That means unless the corner isn't doing what they are supposed to deep should be protected and intermediate throws should be avail.
  8. Two things different about that Michigan game. We ran the ball downhill and had very few negative plays in the run game. Quinn got pressured but there really weren't quick protection busts. Georgia found something on film and exploited it and then Vandy did their best to replicate it. Hopefully we do some self scouting during the bye and get it sorted. Also we need to get 9 some minutes. He is the more physical runner we need to get those tough inside yards. Blue needs more touches too.
  9. Don't tell me you think running a nickel based Cover 3 vs 12 personnel is "showing concern for the run"?
  10. When we are trotting out 12 personnel and you are dropping into cover 3 you aren't concerned about the running game. Yes they brought guys, but they also zone blitzed a lot dropping guys back out into coverage. I haven't seen anyone consistently bringing numbers in the box to address the running game. They seem to be shrugging their shoulders about it and trying to muddy the reads for Quinn.
  11. That's not Sark's scheme, only part of it like everyone else's. Run football, bite on run RPO, sit on RPO, throw over top. Rinse and repeat. The Sark loop. But you know the first and most important part of Sark's scheme? Running the football. Teams are sitting back in coverage and we can't get them to walk up and address the running game. They handle it easily in base D. So teams are ignoring the run game and scheming for Quinn.
  12. Truthfully it's Arch. People are so hell bent on that dude starting. Lol.
  13. Run Pass Option. If there was never an intent to run it then it was never an RPO just play action. You know that but are arguing just to argue. When the running back, who is not watching the play only waiting to take the ball, never opens his arms it isn't an RPO.
  14. 40:50 mark of this video. Paul says the same thing that I said about this play. And just so you know this video didn't exist when I first said it. Again, you guys are screaming "dumb ass Quinn" and not seeing that the receiver is supposed to go hot when his man blitzes. Teams are seeing that we don't recognize blitzers from the secondary and are sending them. People either aren't making sight adjustments or are running right by them when they could at the very least chip them on their way out in their route.
  15. Look at their schedule. If we were playing the big 12 this season what do you think we would look like?
  16. We also run this counter action with Quinn faking the handoff with his back to the defense, so again I'm not sold on RPO. Regardless, as I said before your receiver needs to recognize blitz and go hot. Looks like Quinn expected him to.
  17. That's not an RPO because Quinn would ride the handoff. Looks to be just play action. Quinn never bellies the ball and the RB never opens his arms.
  18. Agreed. Just not at the frequency we are seeing. We just played Vandy and they protected their guy better than we did ours. Go back and watch last year vs Bama. We were solid in protection. If we could just give him what we gave him last year we would likely be 8-0.
  19. There is a big difference between losing protection on a blitz vs guys coming untouched through the line on a simple 4 man rush. That doesn't really happen in the NFL frequently and if it is happening that team is likely a bottom feeder and the coach is updating his resume. People beat O-linemen in the NFL but that lineman usually gets his hands on them. We've probably had someone come through the line untouched about 15 times in two games.
  20. The NFL doesn't bust protections as frequently as we do. They blitz, but on the back end of a blitz there are less guys playing defense, and the receivers being pros know what to do when that happens. In other words Quinn will be surrounded by people who do their jobs at a much higher rate which will help hide his deficiencies. Most guys who don't make it in the NFL either struggle reading defenses or are simply wildly inaccurate. Quinn is very accurate on everything but his deep ball and I honestly think even that is just a confidence issue of being afraid to overthrow it.
  21. Again. Agreed. My argument has never been Quinn is perfect. We know who he is athletically. When he gets to the league whoever drafts him will understand he needs to be behind a good line.
  22. Ok so the MSNBC Fox comment was funny. Had Quinn not stumbled away the defender gets a hand on him whether Cam reestablished or not. The reason why we are talking about Cam is because your boy posted the vid as an example of Quinn being a pussy with no mention of what went wrong in the first place.
