  1. You’re an idiot. Gideon was listed four pounds heavier than Brooks coming out of HS
  2. It’s incredible how Weigman could go from “that dude” to completely replaceable before we even get to October.
  3. Even with that list of first round qbs, Jameis was really the only one that was truly a great college qb. The rest of those guys were pretty inconsistent in school. Basically the theme is they flashed really high ceilings based on their elite physical gifts but failed to put it all together in college and they were drafted high on potential.
  4. Going back to the early 2000s, I can really only think of 3 starting qbs they had that actually finished their career as a starter without getting benched, hurt, or transferring (Tannehill, Johnny, and Mond). I’m sure I’m missing a couple. So many savior QBs have come in with a bang and faded out with a whisper.
  5. Billy is getting straight to work this morning
  6. Or paraphrased more succinctly: Fuck you, pay me
  7. Holy shit, is Tony Grimes healthy? He can’t get a single snap among those shitty cbs even in the blowouts they have played?
  8. I love a pile on as much as the next guy, but are we sure the poster wasn’t saying that Baker will push for the LT spot after Banks leaves next year? Still likely wrong, but at least it’s defensible. That said…if he wasn’t holy shit. Maybe lock him out of this board and contain those takes to the Football board with the rest of the simpletons. I hear there is a great debate going on about whether Worthy is quick or not over there.

Wait, it was actually the last TWO plays!?

Holy shit, that is hilarious. Even if you don’t have a time out, you have to commit a pre snap penalty to get that fixed. What’s the difference, a half yard at that point? What a fuckup
  11. Saban has always done this. He’d go overboard about the big challenges his opponent was going to present that week, knowing he was going to roll them by 30
  12. Now McAfee saying he’s been told there was a raid on Williams’ house. Pretty weird deal all around. Also, Peanut Tillman works for the FBI?
  13. I don’t know that Worthy is as fast as Desean (basically no one is), but he’s probably a better route runner.
  14. He got hurt on a cheap shot when he was defenseless. Not sure if you can blame that on playing both ways.
  15. Nah, the analytics say go for. Deion’s whole schtick says go for it. Instead, Deion takes the 3 because he’s coaching scared.
  16. What a bitch ass fg from Deion there
  17. It is so fucking fully you think Buchner is going be envied to the combine
  18. Yeah, the kid seems like a dumbass from the limited context that we have, and I’m not saying that Kiffin getting on his soapbox in the meeting changes his legal exposure in any significant way. Perception matters for head coaches though, and Kiffin at the minimum created additional headaches for himself by not being able to control himself better. Being honest and being smart aren’t always the same thing. Anyone who’s married knows that
  19. Yeah, and just dumb on Kiffin’s part too. He opened himself up to this shit by laying into the kid like he did. All he had to do was tell Rollins that he was off the team, because while he appreciates his mental health struggles he has to be able to trust the coaches and the program to have the resources to help and disappearing for weeks just wasn’t the right way to handle it. Kiffin may have made himself feel better for a second by giving him that big lecture and it made him seem like a bully and insensitive to whether he was actually going though something.
  20. Found this, apparently it was an FSU fan he was going after. Can’t believe that guy would have the audacity to call for coaches being fired after they started 2-4.
  21. I think it was from a 30 for 30, they made a big deal about how much of the accountability for the 2001 Miami team was player led. Of course that may have been by necessity because Larry Coker was basically half a corpse. Anyway, those guys were basically terrified of slacking off for a second because if they did, Vilma, Ed Reed, and the rest of those guys were going to be on their ass with the quickness.
