  1. Oh, in the tiny sample size of 1 game that he played where he was 100% healthy, he had the 2nd most yards and catches of any Georgia WR. https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401403858
  2. This is dumb. He got hurt in the second game of the season and it lingered all year. So yeah, I guess technically he wasn’t targeted much in the 9 games he missed due to injury. By the playoff games he was closer to 100% and we saw how that turned out.
  3. Haha, wait, is that picture right? No (reverse) Katfid, but I would have never connected that is the same guy from his 247 picture
  4. We’re about to get Robinson
  5. It seemed to work pretty well for OL in the 2022 cycle.
  6. Somebody get that kid as far away from DJ Durkin as possible.
  7. Brock Vandagriff was a composite 5-star, he’s going into year 3 at Georgia and still isn’t the starter. It’s gotten pretty rare though.
  8. Will be interested to see what this contract looks like but I like it in theory
  9. All of the IT mods are teasing a commitment today
  10. It would be a surprise announcement if somebody pops today right? I didn’t think we had anyone notable with a scheduled commitment until tomorrow.
  11. This has nothing to do with anything really, but he can also fuck right off for giving us a 5th seed in his hypothetical 12 team 2008 playoff.
  12. Swoopes ended up being an NFL TE so if we hadn’t wasted everyone’s time pretending he could be a college QB he probably would have ended up being a pretty damn good athlete take as well.
  13. Ah, fair enough, I was looking at his weighted On3 average. On3 is just a Sip propaganda site though, so it doesn’t count.
  14. Uh, which service has him as a top 25 overall player exactly?
  15. Idk, Love Gun makes a pretty solid point. Why didn’t we have any OL drafted last year? I mean sure, we are returning every starter. But are we sure Flood is good?
  16. Hollinger loved the move and the Lively pick fwiw.
  17. It’s rattling around my head somewhere but I can’t remember. Who was the original Texas destructive back? Rufus something?
  18. I have to say, this thread is about as fun as a discussion of 5 people dying a horrific death can get. Let’s do it again, same time next year?
  19. Possibly. Maybe you could squeeze in the best QB of his generation in between Fehoko and Jack Smith
  20. I’ve been thinking a lot about McMurtry over the last few days. Lost them both within about two years of each other. Their prose was so different from one another even when to subjects somewhat overlapped. Neither seemed to have much time or patience for the NY literary scene though. I believe they both skipped their Pulitzer ceremony.
  21. Is a large part of an artist’s legacy whether their art can be considered “helpful”? What does helpful art look like? I’d argue that the kind of person that picks up and gets through a McCarthy novel is a relatively thoughtful person that gets a lot out of his unique depictions of violence and morality, whether it aligns with their worldview or not. Your are editorializing calling it “gratuitous”, especially never having read anything he wrote. I totally get it if you personally don’t like art that focuses on the themes that his books focus on, but to assume they must be a net negative to society at large because you don’t get anything out of it seems pretty reductive.
  22. He never really lost his fastball either, I thought the Passenger was really good. There are passages in a few of his books that I think about constantly and have marked in my paperbacks so I can go back to them quickly. Damn. RIP to a legend.
  23. Aaron Rodgers, Purdy, and Cousins all led their schools to the most successful seasons at their respective schools in recent memory. I think they would be considered big winners relative to the colleges they attended.
