This is the one for me. Just a straight up edge rush, with the bend towards the qb that very few athletes have. Consistent edge pressure bringing 4, along with the push we are getting from the interior DL is a game changer.
I see a pretty big leap from that OU game to Saturday. He did exactly what he was asked against OU, but that game was blown open by Sark’s gameplan on offense. He barely had to make any plays downfield at all.
We needed him the threaten the entire field against bama and that’s what he did
I watched the game, I thought he was good, not great. Their offense really stagnated in the middle part of the game and he was having a lot of trouble with the pressure (which was pretty significant). He seems like a really talented young player who hasn’t put it all together yet to me.
I will say this for him, he plays tough as hell. He doesn’t really shy away from contact when he runs and he was trying to hang in the pocket and make plays down the field. Not sure how smart that is for his long-term prospects given his injury history and that OL, but he’s a competitor.

Boring, looks like Lebby got his talking to and is backing down. Was hoping he would triple down on, “that man is the grandfather of my kids!!” with tears in his eyes.
Sorry if I missed it, but does anybody have our snap counts from Saturday?
I just rewatched Worthy’s TD and was surprised that Cook was actually on the field for that play. Didn’t notice him getting any snaps while watching live.
“Getting his personal life in order” can mean a bunch of things. Not sure why you are jumping to opioid addiction speculation the day after he had the game of his life.
Good news for him, I can’t see how it would be worth it at this stage in his career to be the sacrificial lamb for that piece of shit team.
Maybe he catches on with a real organization that could use a vet in the qb room.
Or maybe this is the end of the road for him in the NFL. If so, cheers Colt. Last qb left from that draft class. Suck it Bradford, Clausen, and Tebow.
Now that’s a name I haven’t heard…
Looks like as of last year he was still keeping the dream alive (and still somehow has eligibility).
He went JUCO after OU and then committed to UTSA but looks like he never enrolled and hasn’t played since. What a bust.

Hahahahahahaha
It’s absolutely not a bad thing that your QB savior can’t separate himself from Johnson, who’s been a JAG for multiple years. Ever stop to think that maybe Johnson is also a superstar now and that’s why Weigman can’t beat him out!?
Feldman is a kind of a twit, but I do like reading the Freaks list every year. We have one entry, not exactly who I would have expected:

Some familiar names too:
29. Tyler Owens
65. Kenyatta Watson II
I remember watching those first few seasons of Last Chance U, the qb pretty much every season (and several of the other players) were always Jimbo FSU washouts.
The dude certainly has a type…
Their strength coach has basically only ever worked for Jimbo. A comfort hire through and through.
There really isn’t any evidence that he’s any more than a JAG at best, and a liability at worst.
I talked to a Sooner fan last week that told me their best WR in camp has been some short white guy.
And it’s not Stoops, who is also expected to start.
So the offensive line can’t be expected to look competent in practice going against that defensive line, give them a break.
Also, there are questions about whether that defensive line can stop the run. And rush the passer. And also, depth is a big concern at linebacker and cornerback.
No worries though, got Durkin.
