Fun fact: as things currently stand, when you consider the last two 247 scores for their respective classes, UT is now significantly higher than the Ags:
Texas
2022 - 289.04
2023 - 294.53
Average - 291.79
A&M
2022 - 333.13
2023 - 236.05
Average - 284.59
That’s without even taking into account the fact that they have already lost two five stars and several four stars to the portal from 2022. It’s incredible to see how little they are going to take advantage of the best class of all time.
I think this has been discussed, but I love what we did from a roster management standpoint on OL. Keeping the numbers up and using them on high ceiling guys with longer developmental timelines is perfect after what we did there in the 2022 class.
Obviously you take a class full of Banks’ every year if you can, but that’s not always going to be an option. So to see us go about filling the OL class in a thoughtful and logical way is really encouraging.
Looks like this is his 2nd P5 offer (ASU being the other)
This incoming bread is going to do a number on that committed player average they are so proud of.
He came off pretty well as far as those things go. Seems like a smart kid.
Had some nice things to say about the Texas staff. When he got to A&M it was more about, “well, I wanted to stay close to home and they are close to home.”
I can’t say I’ve been eating BC tape this season, but starting every game and making 42 tackles for one of the bottom tier P5 teams doesn’t do much to convince me that he isn’t bread.
Hell, BJ Foster had 47 tackles his last season here before finding his calling as an All-WAC player this year.
Also…what she’s trying to say isn’t even what the phrase “culture vultures” means.
Unless she’s saying the mercenary players are appropriating A&M’s culture of being weirdo losers as their own. In that case maybe there is something to it.
Incredible, all her bluster these last few days was based on thinking they had Mullen in the bag.
For someone who’s not a true aggy, she’s incredibly good at being an aggy

Yeah, this has him as a redshirt soph, but either way. Class of 2020, he can declare if he wanted to.
Wait, is he hurt? Pretty wild he isn’t going to wait out his team’s playoff run. Guess he doesn’t want to lose a spot somewhere
Edit: yeah, he’s been out since October.
What do we currently stand with players’ 2nd and 3rd transfers and immediate eligibility? Just saw that Jalen Hulliby is on the move again and I’m assuming he hasn’t graduated but doesn’t expect to have to sit a year.
Is the expectation that the NCAA 1 free transfer rule is completely toothless and players are just going to enroll and play and pay it no mind? Are they all applying for exceptions that are being rubber stamped by the NCAA?
