Bijan Robinson is special
If those things happen I’ll rush to this thread with an apology but nothing will come of this except for a bunch of guys telling on themselves on message boards and twitter.

Bijan Robinson is special
Holy shit, the amount of projection on in this post is off the charts. How do you know if Bijan is rolling his eyes or actually feels bad about it? I certainly don't know the guy, but I have no reason to believe the apology was anything other than genuine. You are right that it's a non-story...because that seems to be how people are treating it. Did Bijan get suspended? Did he lose any of his many sponsorship deals? Did GLAAD publicly call for his execution and I missed it?

Sherrone Moore's Michigan Meltdown - Staffers, Breakups, Extortion, Cover-Ups, Firings, Knives, Assaults, Breakdowns, Arrests
Given all that seems to be going down I’m sure they will fire their AD, but as of right now there isn’t a credible source that is reporting that it’s happened. If a presidential candidate runs on a single issue platform that you need to pass a media literacy course to have a smart phone I swear he’d have my vote.

We'd have to factor in his paternity leave though

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Stop Being Poor
You have about 35K posts on this site, and the next time you say something funny or interesting it will be the first time. I do like that I got under your skin so much yesterday you decided to repeat the same joke that fell flat 24 hours ago. Still waiting for you explain what the hell you were on about by the way.

Yeah this. Also, I'm sure this board full of coaching experts would have been totally cool with hiring a 62-year-old coach from JMU two years ago.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
You’re wrong. This season of there had been only 9 P4 programs that had finished with 2 losses or less you think the committee would have bumped up UNT (at 25 coming off a loss) over Texas for that last spot? There is no fucking way

16 feels right to me, but the debates will be the exact same. We’ll just be having them about teams 14-20 instead of 8-14.

The sample size for a 12 team playoff fields is 2. There hasn’t been a three loss team as a at-large bid yet, but if this format continues in some way there absolutely will be eventually. It didn’t work out for us this year. The last few weeks of this season alone, OU, Bama, Miami, Aggy, and BYU all had games that they could have easily lost. We needed 2 or 3 to happen and none of them did, so it goes.

Citrus Bowl 2025 Game Week Thread
So are you going to use those big boy reasoning skills to explain to me why a week 14 NFL game between two NFL teams with nothing to play for totally matters but a post-season bowl game between Texas and Michigan is a meaningless exhibition? Or are you going to keep pretending you didn’t see the question

True story, until you posted in the Dad thread about having a kid I genuinely assumed you were a 13 year old boy.

Why. Explain to me why a game scheduled during the regular season matters when neither team is playing for the possibility of a championship

Citrus Bowl 2025 Game Week Thread
Comparing any of this to the NFL is generally stupid, but you brought it up so let’s go there. Yesterday, the 2 win Titans who have been eliminated from playoff contention for weeks played the 3 loss Browns. The Titans started and played Cam Ward, the first pick in the draft who they are heavily invested in. The Browns played Myles Garrett, who has a $160 million dollar contract. What in your head makes this any more or less than an “exhibition game”?

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Stop Being Poor
DeBoer is in a tough spot, assuming their playoff run is short lived the natives seem to be getting pretty restless there. If he doesn’t deliver (to their insane expectations) his seat is going to get pretty uncomfortable. I’d be surprised if he goes all in with a freshman.

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Stop Being Poor
I bet some P4 team is going to be willing to bring him in on the hope that another year removed from his injury gets him closer to his pre-injury potential. Not a blue blood program, but I can see him ending up at a Big12 or ACC school before having to resort to Florida Atlantic.

I mean, technically nothing matters.

Man, this. Every single one of us get a finite amount of Longhorn games our lives. If you are on this board, I assume those games mean something to you. Some of you would really prefer we turned down an extra game where we get to watch us play Michigan? There is a way to be disappointed in where the season ended up without being a total pussy about it

He’s already committed to A&M once, pretty good chance he’s already gotten a taste of some that Aggie money.

I had missed that Robinson had been demoted from DC at Syracuse. Yeah, some SEC is for sure going to hire him as a DL coach.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
Without a flood of flipped CB picks coming in (plus Lott sticking to Oregon), the assumption is OSU here I guess?
-
Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
That’s fine. Guess we just have a different standard of “boner worthy”
-
Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
Why exactly? Ohio State doesn’t seem to be scaling back their spending any time soon. If Ohio State keeps winning big with Biletnikoff WRs it’s a pretty hollow consolation that Texas potentially made them pay more for the guy than they otherwise would have. Not my money, who cares

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Stop Being Poor
Wisner considering leaving for the NFL makes more sense than transferring, short of a crazy NIL offer from someone. He’s pretty much is what he is as a rb, putting more tape out there isn’t really going to change his draft prospects at this point. I hope he comes back but wouldn’t blame him for making the jump now.
