  1. There is no strength in the defense, I want to see a unit become a strength and assert itself. The defensive line, linebackers and secondary as units are pitiful. I for the life of me can't understand how the defensive line was downright bullied in the Arkansas/OU games. The talent is there, the coaching is there....Bo Davis had a great run here in the past and there is a proven DC with a scheme that's been highly effective. Coburn isn't a guy that is going to light up the stat sheet, but he seems invisible in the run game and it shouldn't be that way. Is it a lack of effort? What's the deal?
  2. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/jon-gruden-got-what-he-deserved-but-why-is-washingtons-daniel-snyder-relatively-immune-from-this-email-scandal-031525274.html The pressure is going to ramp up to unveil what went down with the WFT.
  3. This is the video Mike Baker suggested they play. Seems like Yuri was a visionary because everything he talks about is what is transpiring tin this country. 2:50 is where he hits the nail right on the head.
  4. The talent is there, if the team gels there is no reason why they can't make a deep tourney run. Texas and Zaga will be the biggest non-conference match up of the year. I can't wait for that game, it's going to give us a perfect picture of where the basketball program stands and if Beard can pull it off Texas could head into conference play ranked #1. I haven't been so hyped for a season to begin since the 2007 season where the team was young, but extremely talented.
  5. Ben Simmons to the Spurs before the trade deadline, lots of chatter going on. Can anyone make sense of this? What the fuck is acquiring the point guard version of DeMar DeRozan going to do for the Spurs? Why surrender future assets and good players (White/DJM) for a guy that can't shoot and has been unable to get it done in Philly? The Spurs lack talent in the front court that is where they need help.
  6. Me too, man....me too. It's like the heart break from that franchise followed to Tennessee. Being tackled 1/2 a yard short from the goal line at the end of the Super Bowl. Choking up a sizable lead to KC in the AFC championship game. It was painful to be an Oilers fan and it's painful to be a Titans fan they always find ways to blow it on the biggest stages.
  7. Titans fan here, no beef in that Washington/Dallas rivalry. ha
  8. It's rather complicated. The owners have the power and it would require the vast majority of the owners being on board with wanting Snyder out. Liken it to the situation with Donald Sterling in the NBA. Adam Silver acted because the rest of the NBA owners wanted Sterling gone, without that support it never would've happened. The owners hold the power in the NFL, not Roger Goodell.
  9. I missed it. I've seen all the outrage directed at the likes of Gruden and the Raiders. I haven't seen any directed at the company that was employing Gruden when all the emails were sent. There is a lot more dirt that is being selectively held out that would implicate big fish associated with the NFL. This was personal between Gruden and Goodell.
  10. I'm curious why ESPN is walking away from this unscathed and is not facing any kind of scrutiny? Gruden was employed by ESPN when all these emails were sent, not the Raiders. The NFL leaked emails to the NYT to cause public outrage because they knew the Raiders couldn't fire Gruden for cause due to emails made years ago when he wasn't even employed by the NFL. The NFL wasn't going to stop leaking emails until push came to shove and it became too much of a distraction for the Raiders organization. The NFL employs Antonio Brown, DeShaun Watson and Tyreek Hill. Don't give me that shit that players shouldn't be held to the same standards they're grown ass men too and know right from wrong. Is this the world we live in where some hateful language is worse than domestic violence?
  11. Ravens got this, they have all the momentum and the Colt's defense has nothing left.
  12. I'm not. The NFL wasn't going to stop leaking emails until Gruden quit or was fired.
  13. Yes sir! Go rat birds!
  14. Looks like we got ourselves a game now. Ravens marched down the field effortlessly.
  15. Urban Meyer must be relieved that Gruden one-upped him by a mile.
  16. Does this mean all the heat is back on Dave Chappelle?
  17. They'll be crowing about that game 7 years from now when they're in the midst of yet another 7 game losing streak to Bama with zero SEC title to show for it. Nothing will change.
  18. I've seen nonsense on social media that Chubb from Cleveland is a better pure runner and that Kamara/McCaffrey are more useful because they catch so many passes. Henry is the clear #1 RB in the NFL. He's rarely stopped for a loss, he's capable of running for 99 yard Touchdowns and demoralizes opposing defenses as the game goes on. He's on course for a second consecutive 2,000 yard season and a third consecutive NFL rushing title. The only thing that will stop Henry is an injury.
  19. I don't believe the portal is the cure all for the OL that a lot of y'all think it is. Remember Parker Braun the 2x 1st team All-ACC OG that transferred here and was marginally better than Okafor? Yeah.....
  20. A moron with a hundred million dollar deal for a podcast, must be doing something right. I respect him because he doesn't take sides and challenges the narrative. Some of his guests are very knowledgeable people who were employed in the intelligence communities, those people are reliable sources of information. He does occasionally use his platform for a good cause to get out stories like this : https://ip-no.org/what-we-do/free-innocent-prisoners/client-profiles/robert-jones/
  21. #1713 was a good listen, unless you're woke.
  22. Another banger from Trivium. Everything you'd expect, technical guitar rifts and unbelievable drumming.
  23. Heard this a week ago and thought it was great that they adopted a heavier sound.
