  1. Lmao! Yeah the favorite to win the conference struggled with Tulane at home, had it been a road game they easily could've lost. ISU got smashed by Iowa. Arky shit all over Texas. Okie St has scraped by bad teams. WVU pulled a Texas and lost to Maryland....in football. Maybe TCU surprises people? They haven't exactly looked up to snuff, either. The Big 12 is a heaping pile of shit this year how anyone could claim it's better is beyond my understanding.
  2. I'm not surprised the least. Hiring a highly successful offensive coordinator who flamed out at not one, but two power five schools accumulating a 46-35 record along the way with an absolutely horrendous record on the road was not a surprise to this guy. Should've held on to Herman for one more year waiting for a home run hire to become available than kicking the tires on some bum with a flashy social media campaign some moron in the marketing dept contrived all gas no brakes baby!!!! Anyone that bought into that was a guppy.
  3. The OL has been a problem going all the way back to the 2009 season. Searles, Wickline, Mattox, Hand, Warehime, Flood the list goes on and on. Did Flood look competent because he coached the talent that he coached at Bama? He didn't do a very good job of coaching these players up with a proper offseason to work with, if anything they look worse in 2021 under Flood than they did in 2020 under Hand towards the end of the season.
  4. I've been more hyped for the upcoming Basketball season than Football and the Arky game wasn't even a surprise to this guy. Sark turned out to be what I expected, the same 46-35 failure that flamed out at not one, but two power five schools. Beard has a proven track record and assembled a cast capable of reaching the final four and beyond. I'm counting down the days to that Zaga match up and anticipating it more than the OU game in football....fight me idgaf.
  5. I've become numb to losing the last decade. HOWEVER, I absolutely loathe losing to a bottom feeding team with a fan base full of cocksuckers like Arkansas. Know what's really sad? The aggy have beaten these bottom feeders 9 games running. Arkansas is the KU of the SEC, they went two years without a single conference victory losing to teams like San Jose St, Colorado St and North Texas. All gas and no brakes my ass, I want to slap the taste out of any cuck that was spouting that nonsense all off season from a fucking fraud of a coach hired with a 46-35 career head coaching record.
  6. He's got a fucking long way to go to even sniff .500 at the conclusion of the season after being dominated by SEC bottom feeders that have averaged 1 conference win a season the last 3 years.
  7. Being blown out by a shit team that has won 3 conference games the last 3 seasons is extremely encouraging.
  8. Who believed a coach with a 46-35 career record was going to be the answer? I was never sold on Sark. Same old hype, same old results. Embrace the Beard era because Texas football will continue to be irrelevant for the foreseeable future.
  9. Calzada : 2/8 for 2 yards.....holy fucking lulz. I remember when the gomers were blowing up twitter when they landed him and that he was going to be a steal. If I'm Weichman I'm calling Jumbo at the half and decomitting because that aggy offense is a shit show. The only thing they have going for them on offense is Spiller.
  10. The aggy offense is limp dick. They're going to have to pray that their defense holds opponents under 20 points to even have a chance against any mediocre team. It was a huge red flag when King threw 3 picks and Calzada threw one on his only attempt. I want the buffs to smash these gomers by 20-30 points.
  11. The Jags have that 2-15 vibe to them this season, will Urban retire due to health complications? He should've taken the Texas job.
  12. I can't even comprehend what Woodley was doing the remaining several minutes of the fight when he needed a KO to win. He showed no aggression what so ever passively milking out the remainder of the fight. I don't know if he was fearing unloading then being countered and knocked out himself or what, but he finished the fight like a bitch. Jake Paul is laughing all the way to the bank fighting under-sized former NBA players and washed up MMA fighters.
  13. I feel sorry for anyone who actually payed for this.
  14. The Big 12 is courting UCF who has been the best G5 program in recent history. However, they seem hesitant and for good reason they don't want to become another Boise or TCU jumping onto a sinking ship like the Big East before it imploded. If I'm the Big 12 I'm trying to add UCF, Cincy, Houston and a fourth to get the conference back to 12 teams and retain some form of respectability. The conference would remain strong in Basketball with the additions of Houston and Cincy and they both have decent football programs. The best course of action would be to oust that goof Bowlsby and turn the reigns over to Luck.
  15. Shows how desperate they are to escape the Taliban.

    TEXAS QB TALK

I trust Sark to make the right call at QB. He turned a heaping pile of shit Jake Locker into a first rounder and took a 3star QB and turned him into a Heisman finalist his first and only season starting. Casey should have the upper hand with his experience and showing in the Alamo Bowl, but anything can happen. With a new coaching staff most players tend to get a fair shake and there are no favorites, if Card wins out he deserved it.
  17. The Big 12 has been a sinking ship for some time. I expect Texas to dominate Basketball in the SEC under Beard and there will be a lot of good baseball games because the SEC is clearly a much better conference baseball wise. I hope Sark is the guy because goofs like Herman and Strong couldn't even consistently hang with the mid tier teams of the Big 12. Going 3-7 vs Okie St last decade and 3-7 vs TCU in the last 10 games played was embarrassing, not to mention Texas is on it's first losing streak to ISU, ever.
  18. Siakam isn't going to move the needle. The Spurs have a plethora of complimentary players, but they desperately need a superstar 1-2 punch. In the modern NBA if you don't have at least 2 superstars you're not going to be competitive and the results of the last two seasons clearly demonstrated that relying on LMA in the twilight of his career and the playoff choker DeRozan to be the guys. The Spurs are officially in rebuild mode and the moves this off season make that clear as day. They drafted an 18 year old SG over someone who could contribute immediately. Moving DeRozan for future picks/expiring contracts and cutting ties with vets like Rudy and Patty.
  19. I'm relieved the DeRozan era is over. I never blamed him for the failures of the Spurs in recent years, he never wanted to play for the Spurs to begin with. I blamed the morons that pulled the trigger on the trade acquiring a player who was a terrible fit.
  20. McDermott is a decent 3 point shooter, but that contract is excessive the Spurs overpaid for a shooter off the bench. Didn't Collins have 3 ankle surgeries the past year? Not liking these moves. The Spurs used to be known as geniuses for drafting productive players and bringing in the right mix of role players to support Timmy, Manu and Tony.....but damn those days are long gone. They've done about everything wrong they could possibly do in recent years including using their highest lotto pick in decades on a god damn 18 year old shooting guard. About the only thing they did right was draft a steal in Keldon Johnson.
  21. Isn't hilarious that a team with 3 NBA draft picks got bounced out of the first round by Abilene Christian?
  22. Laughable. There were 3 talented big available and the Spurs selected an 18 year old SG that won't sniff an NBA court for 2-3 years and would've been available in the 2nd round to boot.
  23. https://longhornswire.usatoday.com/lists/texas-longhorns-basketball-chris-beard-roster-2021-2022-season/ 7 players that can light up the stat sheet, that team is gonna be fun to watch. Picking up Morris was great news for the future as well. Allen - 17.2 ppg Disu - 15 ppg Andrew Jones - 14.6 ppg Ramey - 12.2 ppg Mitchell - 18.8 ppg Carr - 19.4 ppg Bishop - 11 ppg
