  1. In the same division no less.
  2. Baker is going to have to be a bus driver if Cleveland wants any shot of winning this season, if they expect him to throw the ball 30-35 times a game they're going to lose a lot of games with a pathetic schedule. Chubb/Hunt are clearly the best backfield duo in the NFL the gaudy numbers they're putting up with a fat, pudgy troll in the backfield who isn't much of a passing threat is incredible. I'm not gonna be surprised at some point if Keenum becomes the starter, he was successful in that offense in Minnesota. Baker will have one of his usual games where he throws 3 picks including a pick six and he'll find his ass on the bench pouting.
  3. That would make an interesting off season if the Browns drafted Sam to replace Baker, but I wouldn't wish Cleveland upon anyone and Sam's career would be doomed.
  4. The last thing I wanted to see was the nephew win another championship. Denver and Miami in the finals why not it's 2020.
  5. Talented at what, exactly? Throwing interceptions? Being a douche? Just sucking in general? I'm gonna laugh when that clown gets benched for Case Keenum sometime around mid season.
  6. I fucking hate your avatar, OP. Texas has it's best QB in place since Colt McCoy and we have a thread reminding us about the futility of the last decade, why?
  7. My question to you would be what else could the Titans have done at the QB position? There is a chance they could've signed Tom Brady, but with no young QB to groom that would've been a good short term plan if it actually fell into place. Last season the Titans were sitting at 2-4 and were ranked near the bottom of scoring and total offense. Tannehill was a big part of the 7-3 streak after he was inserted as the starter, the offense finished 10th in yardage and 11th in scoring despite Mariota digging a hole. He actually put up good numbers with a career high completion % by a significant margin, nearly matched his career high TD passes (22) with 286 attempts when his previous career high (27) was with 590 attempts and led the NFL in yards per pass attempt.
  8. Who are Cleveland fans going to blame for Baker's ineptitude this season? Last season they placed all the blame on Kitchens/the OL and completely absolved Baker of any blame. They signed Jack Conklin to play RT and drafted Jedrick Wills to play LT, added a decent TE.....so where will they place the blame after Baker looked like a colossal heap of shit from the get go this season?
  9. You do realize Baylor is replacing 9 starters on the unit that was the strength of their team last season, right? They'll be breaking in an entirely new coaching staff with a shortened off season, that's not an ideal recipe for a seamless transition. Any chance TCU had to be decent went down the tubes when Duggan opted out.
  10. The Vols at #15? Yikes, that won't last long.
  11. 2019 - Browns are hyped up over off season additions, new coaching staff, Baker Mayfield sucked and they were demolished in week 1. 2020 - Once again the Browns were hyped, yet another new coaching staff things will be different this time, getting smashed in week 1 and Baker still sucks.
  12. The Big 12 is going to be horrendous this season. KU, KSU, TTU and ISU have all been confirmed to be trash. If Herman doesn't win this dumpster fire of a conference with the team he has this season it'll be embarrassing. Outside of Texas, OU and Okie St nobody is going to be any good. Baylor is breaking in a new coaching staff along with 9 new starters on defense and TCU isn't going to win much without a QB.
  13. There is no way Thompson won't be in at QB early in the 3rd quarter.
  14. Well then.....that escalated quickly.
  15. Houston's offense just isn't the same with Hopkins gone, they couldn't do anything against KC until garbage time. Who thought it was a good idea to compile a list of starting wide receivers that consist of Stills, Cooks and Fuller? None of them can stay healthy and they're all similar skill sets. I don't see Houston finishing any better than 3rd in the division, Indy and Tennessee made good off season moves and Houston made one of the worst trades in NFL history and have a toilet paper offensive line.
  16. Shaka getting beaten by Rick on the recruiting trail. If the last five years haven't been humiliating enough this adds insult to injury.
  17. Y'all Reckon Odell will be watching the Texas/UTEP opener? I heard UTEP is fixing to be shit on.
  18. NFL teams are still rolling the dice hoping for a repeat of 2013.
  19. It really was, the 09 defense was better than 05's. The 09 team had a deep defensive line and like you mentioned the secondary was really good too, it didn't even matter that Gideon was starting because Curtis/Chykie Brown, Earl Thomas and Aaron Williams compensated for that.
