  1. I literally cringed when I became aware of the Spurs trading Kawhi for Demar. He got bullied in the East Conference by LeBron's Cav's for years and disappeared in the playoffs. I would've rather the Spurs traded Kawhi to the Lakers for the package the Pelicans received with a substitute for Lonzo Ball, perhaps Kuzma? Brandon Ingram developed into a star this season, Josh Hart would be an upgrade over Forbes and three 1st rounders to build for the future or use to move for a key piece. The roster as it's constructed simply can't compete and that was clear as day this season. The Spurs unloaded a generational player and one of the best defensive wings of the decade for a soft playoff choker, a one dimensional defensive player and a draft pick.
  2. 247 made it rather clear the Brockermeyers were headed to Bama quite some time ago, nothing new. If it wasn't for a decade of futility Herman would've had a chance to land those kids, Bama is a juggernaut that has been pumping out OL talent to the NFL for years. Texas is a program struggling to produce 4th and 5th rounders and win 8 games a year.
  3. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. When you threaten to burn down a federal courthouse federal authorities can and will act making it a federal matter, not a local matter. It's not a complicated concept by any stretch.
  4. They were gathered near a federal courthouse making it a federal affair. https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/2020/07/protests-mark-day-50-in-portland-thursday-amid-growing-attention-from-trump-administration.html
  5. Federal authorities protect federal property and disregard local lawlessness. The crowd was threatening to burn down a federal building so the DHS acted appropriately. We all witnessed how well local authorities and government handled what transpired in Seattle, that went over well didn't it?
  6. The front court in Orlando is going to be the equivalent of a G League team. LMA and Lyles out. That leaves Poeltl, Metu, Eubanks and Rudy. 2020 continues to deliver. https://sports.yahoo.com/spurs-f-trey-lyles-out-for-season-with-appendicitis-010219924.html
  7. Sorry for posting Swedish Metal in the Nu Metal thread, this will be my first and last offense.
  8. How is it lame? Petty? Perhaps, but it's actually a good meme. Jeff Fisher had squandered an incredible amount of offensive talent throughout his career. It's not a coincidence that McVay immediately turned a boring and terrible 4-12 team into a 11-5 team that was fun to watch. I can't help but believe that the McNair/George years could've been better with a competent head coach in place.
  9. Their first two albums were solid, this track would've fit right in on either of those albums.
  10. aggy cheating and they can't even manage to finish any better than 4th in the conference. They'll shift the blame towards Sumlin because Jumbo can do no wrong in their eyes.
  11. That beta cuck has been noticeably absent from BON recently. He's had his ass lit up repeatedly by a sizable amount of the BON community because he had been race baiting and click baiting for weeks. The backlash wasn't pretty, it was pathetic he had his brother who is an alum of UW write up one of the sorriest articles I've had the displeasure of reading in some time.
  12. Right at the very beginning of Episode 8 it's explained how everything came to be and it's nothing that was hinted at previously in any season much to Adam's surprise. The third season was a masterpiece and the best of them all by far, Dark progressively became better with each passing season despite the complexity.
  13. I've made it through 7 of the 8 episodes of Dark season 3 and my mind is completely fucked. There are plot twists in addition to the plot twists from season 2 and plot twists on top of that and in addition to the different worlds existing there are additional loops thrown into the equation. The first season was good, the second season was better and the third season is even better than the second. Can't wait to see what the final episode has in store.
  14. I heard this band several years ago and they caught my attention, the lead singer has a vocal range very similar to Chester Bennington's.
  15. The new album dropped last week and it's bland overall, but this track is a good one.
  16. How could they have a shooting? It's the "summer of love". In a way I'm glad Washington's oblivious governor and Seattle's mayor have allowed this to go on so the rest of the country can see what is transpiring there. It's no surprise "protestors" attempted this in Portland as well, but it was squashed rather quickly.
  17. Less than a week until the final season drops.
  18. If it wasn't for the team being razor thin at LB Juwan would've been dismissed from the team quite some time ago, he's a malcontent. If Juwan feels Texas is an oppressive university all of a sudden then perhaps he should transfer to the shit hole SEC school out in the eastern part of the state and soak in the aggy culture. When it boils down to it Juwan was never a good fit at the university and there have been issues with him throughout his tenure at the university.
