  1. This could turn into a repeat of the Georgetown/ISU beat downs.
  2. It's always an encouraging sign when you get walloped by a terrible Brooklyn team, embrace the tank!
  3. After a lot of controversy Project Regeneration is nearly wrapped up featuring the remainder of Wayne Static's previously unreleased vocals. It'll be the first Static-X studio album in 11 years, it's hard to believe it's been six years since Wayne passed. Some new Trivium as well :
  4. https://247sports.com/college/texas/Sport/Basketball/AllTimeRecruits/ Look at all the players Shaka currently has on the roster that are Top 25 all-time recruits for Texas : Andrew Jones at 15, Will Baker at 16, Ramey at 19, Liddell at 21, Sims at 23, Coleman at 24, Jones at 25 and Hepa barely missing the Top 25 at #27. With arguably one of the more talented rosters in Texas history Shaka is barely going to qualify for the tourney and it took a miraculous late season win streak to even achieve that playing one of the softest OOC schedules I can ever recall.
  5. Chip is to Texas what Taylor Hamm was to the aggy, he's a pathetic excuse of a journalist. I completely disregard 247 because they employ that douche canoe. In the Charlie Strong/Tom Herman era he's been bitter and inaccurate, he likely lost his source and any credibility he had when Mack moved on and his source was purged from the university. Everyone hates Kirk Bohls because he's essentially a heel, but at least he's not a vile piece of shit like Chip is.
  6. Well, that was a nail biter. Shaka survives.....for now.
  7. The Big 12 employs the same refs for basketball as it does for football?
  8. Lonnie with 20 minutes and Keldon with 15, that's what I like to see. Those younger guys need some minutes.
  9. You, me and everyone else. Remember when they clobbered the Bucks and Celtics, beat Toronto and still lost to Atlanta immediately after? I don't know what the fuck Pop is doing, he needs to bump Forbes to the bench and stop playing Marco more than 7-8 minutes on any given night the man is a shell of his former self and is hogging up valuable developmental minutes for the young players. I threw the towel in on this season a long time ago, I knew the success would come to an end some day, but how Pop is handling things this season has made it a tough pill to swallow.
  10. WVU has gone straight down the shitter, they're losing to everybody not named Ok St, ISU or KSU.
  11. 10-8 in the Big 12 = in regardless of a weak OOC resume. The OK St game at home amounts to a gimme and the OU game on the road is very winnable. The selection committee loves teams that catch fire at the end of the year and Texas has ranked wins against WVU/Tech. Closing out the regular season with two more wins = a lock, winning several games in the Big 12 tourney would likely result in being bumped up a seed. In CDC's shoes would I keep Shaka around if he goes one and done in the NCAA tourney? No way. Hard telling what will happen.
  12. Who can forget that loud mouth getting completely burned on this play? All bark and no bite from the best safety in the entire country.
  13. Their schedule in 2020 is laughable. If they can't 4-0 their OOC schedule playing the likes of UNT, Abilene Christian and Fresno with their "marquee" match up being Colorado they should just shut it down. LSU is going to be down suffering tons of turnover player and coaching wise, Ole Miss isn't going to be very good, Arkansas is going to be bad for the foreseeable future, Mississippi St is going to be implementing a new system without the proper personnel and they get Vandy/So Car in the East. If the aggy can't manage to finish 10-2 that's truly pathetic.
  14. What's truly depressing is when you look around the division the majority of the teams have two young cornerstone players to build around. The Mavs have Kristaps and Luka, the Pelicans have Zion and Ingram, Memphis has Morant along with Jaren Jackson Jr. White and Murray are good young players, but neither of those guys are going to be someone you build a franchise around more so complementary players than anything. It's hard to tell what the Spurs have with Lonnie, he plays less than Marco and just typing that gives me the urge to throw up in my mouth a little.
  15. Chin pubes Looch consults with Taylor Hamm in the shit house to compile his recruiting rankings, which are the only rankings that matter if you ask any aggy. Rivals sucks a lot of dicks these days, but their work is vastly superior compared to Looch's biased rankings.
  16. Johnny Manziel's desire to return to professional football now matches professional football's desire to have him.
  17. The Spurs' season in a nut shell : Shaka Smart would be envious.
  18. The draft class is weak this year, but I'd prefer that #12 pick opposed to making the playoffs as #8 seed and being swept or slaughtered 4-1. The thing that surprises me the most is how far ahead of the Spurs teams who were in the midst of full rebuilds such as OKC and Memphis are. Hell, Kyle Anderson is one of the most Senior players on the Memphis roster, that team is littered with players who have been in the NBA 3 years or less. We're gonna see what this new GM is made of with the Spurs, my biggest hope is that DeRozan is not inked to a new deal and is unloaded if he opts into his final year.
  19. If it ain't broke don't fix it. How about eliminating several of the meaningless preseason games if they want to make a worthwhile change?
  20. The Spurs saved a whopping 811k buying out DMC. What an embarrassment, he's going to count for 6.2 million towards the cap next season and the Spurs have little financial flexibility as it stands.
  21. ^From page 1^. You contradicted yourself and began back pedaling because you got lit the fuck up for bringing a bunch of bullshit into this thread that didn't belong.
