  1. That's a bummer. Never had that happen there, and it shouldn't happen.
  2. What he said. I have never walked out of Barley Swine without being completely blown away by what I just ate.
  3. I have nothing to say. Definitely have to get back to Dallas soon.
  4. Oh don't get me wrong, I have done many similar things in my career, and many more will follow. As DDD says, maybe (probably) as soon as Thursday.
  5. Don’t mean to be a dick, heso, but holy fucking fuck.
  6. And a good one at that. Also a train that runs fairly often and not too expensive. Could be a nice way to get our drink on.
  7. Thanks. Probably just behave myself and drive.
  8. Related to this question, I assume trying to get an uber or lyft home from Austin 360 is impossible?
  9. Got flights from Austin to Quebec City for October for about 450 each. Going to be in QC for a week. A little long maybe, but a day of doing nothing but lounging around our Air BnB drinking cocktails won’t be a bad thing.
  10. Glad I could help. My kids have their names written on that back wall in the hallway somewhere.
  11. Knoppogue (sp?) Castle is a good Irish at a good price point. Regular redbreast or green spot would be my next suggestion.
  12. With a related Quebecois question, Wife and I are going to Quebec City for a week in October for our 20th anniversary. Already have flights and place to stay booked, but any food/tourist recommendations anyone has would be great.
  13. Play both?!? for $920? No way. Those courses are worth nowhere near that $$$. Vegas grossly overcharges for golf (unless you go in the middle of the summer). If he was able to play them both for 199 and a caddie fee, then sure.
  14. Green Spot is fucking heaven.
  15. We were in Fredricksburg last weekend. Didn't do any of the wildflower loops, but they were pretty decent on the drive out there. Maybe drive out there, see what it looks like on the way and decide once you get to F'burg on whether you want to drive more or just hang out there.
  16. So it is unanimous. Walking through Times Square at night is a beating. Ended up getting a good rate at the Warwick. Flights, hotels and theater tickets taken care of, with the flights the cheapest of the three.
  17. Love Dingle. Think. We talked about it on previous board. Wife and I went to Ireland last year. Flew into a Shannon, one night in Kenmare, three nights in single, one night in Galway, one night in Westport and one night in Shannon near the airport. Absolutely loved all of it, but especially Dingle and the Dingle peninsula.
  18. Thanks, that looks pretty cool as well. Both of these suggestions are actually a little cheaper than I thought (although the freaking hotel tax and "destination fees" are ludicrous). Would you walk from either of these places to a theater on 45th near Times Square?
  19. So I am taking my daughter to NYC for her 16th birthday to see "Dear Evan Hansen" at the Music Box Theater on 45th Street in June. I have been to Europe many times, but weirdly enough, have never been to NYC. Any suggestions for hotels? We are probably going for two nights so will have about a day and a half of sightseeing, so I don't know if that would affect the location suggestions. Not looking to break the bank, but obviously want to stay someplace decent in a decent location. Pretty open to suggestions.
  20. I am living that now as my index continues to skyrocket.
  21. From last year, I think? Definitely a previous year.
  22. 78731. Appraised went up 14.3%. Used Protax last three years and they've done fine with me. Very easy, and the compounding effect makes it worth to protest always.
