  2. If this thread is going to live for the next three years can we please fix the caPiTaLizATioN in the thread title?
  3. But...if you WERE a doc....would you buy, or lease, your MRI machine?
  4. I got nothing…. …so here is as good a place as any to ask: should we learn kickoff time for the MSU game today? That’s how it usually worked under our former deal except for the annoying “5 day exceptions”
  5. I guess it’s one of those deals being at the game in a blowout and being able to focus on one player. Sure it was garbage time but the dude is lighting fast and moves with a purpose.
  6. Wordle 1,185 3/6* [emoji834][emoji834]🟨[emoji834][emoji834] [emoji834]🟨🟨[emoji834]🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Connections Puzzle #463 🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟦🟦🟦🟦 …I still don’t know what “PAP” is.
  7. Saw some flashes last night…was there watching live and haven’t seen a replay yet but I do recall a couple of “holy shit!” plays
  8. I despise the smoke… …but to be fair (sort of), “they” seemed to be accelerating the start back time between the 3rd and 4th quarters and looked like it caught everyone by surprise. This of course after every other time out period was excruciatingly long.
  9. So…I’m jumping on some of that Quinn plus $1,800 to win the Heisman action ASAP

  11. If you Uber to the game, I think the official drop off spot is on Dean Keaton aka 26th Street and Robert Dedman…so north of the stadium. This would get you immediately closer to the Surly tailgate and LCL. Then as the LCL is winding down, you walk down the hill through the midway and then can enter the stadium behind the Julius Whittier statue (don’t tell anybody as only a few dozen people do this!) and be in the trophy area. Good food and drink just off of that. Pretty much the same experience as recommended above but without the walk from Sholz to the Surly tailgate…which is quite the hike!
  12. Yeah…sometimes that little flag gets stuck and you have to yank on it. Been there…
  13. Not telling anyone anything they don’t know, … The whole Heisman discussion at this point is of course ridiculous. He was on fire when he went out. We’ve got a scrimmage next week and SEC roadkill the next game. He picks up where he left off and we steamroll our way to the Conference Championship nobody will even remember he missed a couple of games and he’ll win it. And…in the worst case scenario that he’s out for an extended period of time…well then no shit, he won win the Heisman. If his odds continue to fall a couple hundred would be a worthy investment
  14. So is this among the best WR groups in…. …..oh I don’t know…. ….the history of College Football???
  15. ChatGPT says he’ll be back for OU: The recovery time for a quarterback with a strained abdomen depends on the severity of the strain. Here's a general breakdown: 1. **Mild strain (Grade 1)**: This involves slight tearing of muscle fibers, and recovery usually takes 1-3 weeks. The quarterback may return to play with proper treatment, including rest, physical therapy, and possibly anti-inflammatory medications. 2. **Moderate strain (Grade 2)**: In this case, there’s a more significant muscle tear, and recovery may take 4-6 weeks. The player will likely need a combination of rest, rehab exercises, and potentially treatments like ultrasound or massage therapy. 3. **Severe strain (Grade 3)**: A full muscle tear, which is rare, may require surgery and a much longer recovery period of several months. In this case, the player could miss the remainder of the season. Throughout the recovery, the quarterback's ability to throw, twist, and absorb hits is closely monitored. Even after returning to play, managing the injury is key to prevent further strain.
  16. Yep. His career window slammed shut and he never saw it coming. Should probably start calling East Texas School Districts and hook up a lifetime gig with benefits
  17. So…we agree that Quinn is better than Arch at this point. Right?
  18. Holding helmet in his right hand
  19. Is there a secret trap door in the injury tent? Or is he still in there?
  20. Desmond Howard must have the best agent in the history of agenting. It was Hootie doing his Wagon Wheel
  21. Oh. Cool. A shitty cover version of an awesome song.
