Any word on total seasons? Since it’s kripke I’m guessing 5 but who knows.
  2. Yup, the Ukraine daily Texan thread scrolls halfway and then crashes. I’m using iPhone 13 safari.
  3. We don’t use that term anymore, it’s Weed entrepreneur, thank you. Haven’t you seen your latest stock market ticker?
  4. Totally dumb tangent on my part, but anytime I read “channel one” here, I automatically think of Anderson cooper and Lisa ling. I’m drunk but thanks to all for the months long analysis and info! Fuck Russia, go Ukraine!
  5. those factors are definitely the driving force but also people are going back to being fucking idiot dickheads. I hit my day ten and second negative test (with no symptoms after day 3) so day later we went to AC, NJ for a quick getaway before this wknd rush. Anyway, this morning while at the coffee shop in one of the casinos, this dumb bitch coughed at least 8 or 9 times. This wasn't a water down the wrong pipe kinda cough, those are hella embarrassing to me since the pandemic started but figure that happens to all of us at some point. You aren't sick, just got caught with something in your throat that you got to get it out. No biggie. No, these were deep guttural dry throat chest coughs. She tried doing the smaller ones in her elbow but the 8-9 big ones were unstoppable and unmistakeable. We all got to eat but send the fucking kids, do room service, or order your shit and stand aside away from folk; don't just cough it up at your table in a full coffee shop. Gave her the stink eye and glad she saw it, fucking dumbass. And i know i'm probably exposed left and right from others on the subway or at the casino tables themselves but when it is that blatant and you're that reckless around others, you can fuck right off. Even if it wasn't covid, she sounded sick as hell, go fucking isolate.

  7. Eh, my understanding was the original vax recommended for almost everyone to get both rounds. Being in New York, didn’t meet anyone who seriously considered one shot as “I’m vaxxed!”. Everyone just got both cause why fucking risk it after the all the deaths we saw in the beginning. So I’ve always considered two shots as fully originally vaxxed, none of this half shit. so original full dose + 1st one shot booster + 2nd one shot booster. I guess I’m just weird but I wouldn’t say That my folks had 4 shots, just that they got boosted twice and I expected that to be the norm. As to the original question, I guess I just read it my way but looks like I was wrong. Yours was the correct way to interpret it and a 90+ olds are eligible now for a second booster.
  8. Not positive but I think for the olds the second booster has been approved. Pretty sure my parents got original vax in Aprilish 2021, booster October 2021, booster Mayish 2022. edit: they’re in their late 70s

Definitely. Like she lost facial baby fat or over did it at the gym but only somehow got a more angular face and not toned body. I guess that means work done but her face definitely looks more "sharp" this season. My gf and I both noticed it but she looks essentially the same so hard to tell what exactly is different.
  10. Awesome it was mild and I’m no doctor but ain’t 92% o2 kinda hella low? Not go to hospital level by any means but definitely “yo, need to keep a eye on that”. Or was my fam just overly cautious? The first time we all got it don’t think any of the youngins or middle age (all reasonably fit) folk went below 96 or 97% but my mom at age 74 did worry us when she hit 90%. Maybe low 90s just freaked us out for the olds.
  11. the parkour and free solo comments. least to me but i might have covid brain right now.
  12. think you might have crossed the streams there a bit...
  13. Fuck. Round two started on Monday night. Infected January 2021, Vaxxed May 2021, and boosted in December 2021. Been living normal for a year now with a few known close calls but no clue where this one came from. Spent last wknd doing same old stuff (restaurants, bars, etc). Then Monday gf’s sister got it, I tested negative but felt crappy. Then gf got it yesterday and I Finally popped positive today after two days of congestion, body aches around the joints (like I want to stretch them out), runny nose, very sporadic slight cough, and ear popping. So day 3 and feel blegh but not terrible. Hopefully it stays light. Guess I got 7 more days? Will say this one seems fast acting; pretty sure we contracted Sunday night at a hookah bar but who knows. Y’all stay safe out there.
  14. Guy walking away from camera didn't like that the little black dog got too close to him when they crossed paths. Lady holding him did have a tight-ish grip on the leash but Guy talked shit while crossing the street. The BF/husband of the lady asks Guy what his problem is, they talk shit but Guy tells lady to shut up, BF/husband says "Don't talk to her like that" then starts beating on Guy.
  15. Meant that I never buy bottled water for personal use. Also in nyc so space is limited but when I move to a more accommodating city, looking to get some emergency supplies. Thanks for the info yall!
  16. What specifically? Negged for vagueness tho
  17. Couple weeks per person? So is a case like 2 or 3 days worth including showering? Not hating just trying to visualize how much water/space this takes up. An average family of 4 plus two pets, so…. one case per person for 3 days, times 5 for 15 days = 20 cases for family plus 5 (?) for pets for that time total. My math or estimation off? I think it is a great idea but 20-25 cases of water just sitting there (we do brita and tap whenever at home) in a corner is… impressive.
  18. That’s a hard 35.

Dumb question amnesty: when HL said “look at you 80 over 60” to Edgar, he meant …? Proof of whiskey at his elder age? I’ve never heard it put like that (but it has been a long ass week so maybe I’m just slow).
  20. Except he said he didn’t watch any of it, clips or actual trial. It’s one thing to say “nah, I think y’all wrong”, and quite another to say, “I haven’t looked at all what y’all are talking about but I know you’re wrong.” And to double down on a key point that she was proven to have lied about. And i like his viewpoints and almost all his other posts elsewhere, which makes this thread so baffling.
  21. Yeah, except the last show i saw them both in was the hbo series where they are husband and wife so seeing her be the mom here ... just threw me off from the get go. Having watched Vikings, Last Kingdom, and read a fair amount on early English history, I expected something different from this. Caught it on peacock and couldn't get into it at all. Had to turn it off about 3/4s of the way through. Then I came back to this thread. Having read y'alls take, I probably still won't finish it but maybe if I'm bored to see what I missed. If I had to compare it, I'd say this is The Thin Red Line to the Vikings/Last Kingdom as SPR. Which doesn't mean it is bad, just completely different way to tell a familiar genre that suffers for me personally since I wanted more of the other method.
  22. I’d say this was the most important part: "They're cowards," Reyes said. "They sit there and did nothing for our community. They took a long time to go in… I will never forgive them."
  23. In general the episodes are long-ish but I think the last three (from the one with the song ending) to the last episode, I thought were all well done. Very suspenseful the last 5-10 minutes at least. Can't wait for the last set of episodes.
