  1. Well that's not quite fair. You are hinting at the fact that people should have all the power, let's see what the land has to say about that. Land: care to weight in here?!? Land. Land. You there? Is there not one acre out there that wants to defend themselves?
  2. Also, I think our assassination of Suleimani was in response to the attack on our embassy, which was still ongoing when Eric tweeted that, so I highly doubt the details of the drone strike had even been formulated yet. Just seems like common sense to me that he was just commenting on the white supremacists tweet with a little Toby Keith jargon.
  3. I would guess because the embassy was still under siege and it could have gone way way south from there and if it had he would have had a "mission accomplished" type embarrassment with that tweet.
  4. That Eric Trump tweet deal is bullshit. He was replying to some right-wing nut who shared a video of soldiers on their way to the US embassy a couple days before the strike. It would make much more sense in the context that he was implying the soldiers in the video he was responding to were about to "open a can of whoop ass" rather than a drone strike days away that his dumb fat fuck father probably didn't even know about yet.
  5. Yes, the worst of all of the collateral damage and yet the one American's care the least about. Sadly, What might make American's care more about this than we did the slaughter of Afghanis and Iraqis, is that Iranian women are hot.
  6. Is it a good thing that Sadam is dead? He was a bad dude for sure, is the world a better place without him? Was his death worth the trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives we spent as a consequence? We don't live in a vacuum. If there are no consequences for Suleimani's death, sure, burn in hell you POS, good job America. But is his death worth the lives of a couple thousand 19 year old kids from the mid-west? Is it worth trillions of dollars in taxpayer money? Is it worth $150/oil that would drag us into a recession and kill American manufacturing? Actions have consequences. I just hope this admistration is ready for what it just started, because if it is not, Suleimani might become synonymous with Archduke Ferdinand.
  7. MBS for sure. In fact I would bet Kushner and MBS's bromance had a lot to do with this. A US/Iran all out war is Saudi's wet dream. Let the American's spend their blood and treasure to the benefit of the Kingdom.
  8. The Pentagon also knows Trump is a fucking idiot and that if they didn't want this shit to escalate all they had to do is let him play golf and tweet and not give him this as a viable option, he would have never been the wiser, shit i'd be willing to bet that until yesterday Trump had zero clue who this guy was. I'd be curious who would have even presented him with this option now that Bolton is out of there. I don't know enough about Esper, is he especially hawkish?
  9. The Two Popes was fucking awesome. Highly recommend it.
  10. This thread is starting to look like a grumpy old white man's facebook feed.
  11. This event just illustrates you don't just go to war with Iran, you go to war with all Shia fighters across the region. The more we provoke them (i.e. tearing up an agreement they were compliant with) the more we risk a full on war in Iran, Iraq and an escalation in the ongoing wars in Yemen and Syria. All because Trump wanted to troll Obama by tearing up one of his biggest accomplishments.
  12. Ahh, well then that is a really stupid take.
  13. I'm not sure bad-teammate was saying Pete isn't smart, he was just repeating what he had seen people espousing on the interwebs, not sure if he had a take on it either way. Also, I'm in the O&G business, so I can't really pass judgement in that regard.
  14. That's a new take I haven't seen yet. Pretty sure Pete is smart as shit no matter how you slice it.
  15. Looks like Trump finally found a use for Tiffany.
  16. And distracting the prepper from the fact they have a small penis.
  17. So now we can fly american flags AND say merry christmas? Thank goodness, been forever since we've been able to do that.
  18. The correct answer is any POTUS should never walk anywhere near that line for any American citizen, the other avenue (FBI, DOJ etc.) should always be the only avenue, you know because that's how the country is supposed to work. Our Presidents aren't kings, they don't get to choose who gets investigated, political rival or not.
  19. Be intellectually honest here: 1) Did Trump ask the President of Ukrain to investigate Joe Biden? 2) Is Joe Biden currently leading all national democratic primary polls (and has he been since he announced his candidacy in April of this year)? 3) Is it OK for the President of the United States to use the power of his office to coerce foreign governments to investigate their main political rival? That's really what this boils down to. Withholding aid, congressional processes, witness testimony, etc. etc. is all just window dressing. Questions 1 and 2 are irrefutable. I used to think the answer to question 3 was a no-brainer as well, but the current iteration of the Republican party and it's supporters seems to be OK with the actions described in question 3 as long as it benefits their dear leader's short term interests, long-term interests of this Country be damned.
  20. You know the thing that hurts him the most though, is that the name fits. Yo Brad, it's not the mexicans or liberals fault you got a small dick and a shitty name, blame your parents dude.
  21. That would be funny. Would make for a great book.
  22. Would he have 51 votes for that? Not sure if Murkowski, Collins and Romney would be on board for that. I'm probably naive in that thought.
  23. That witch hunt sure did find a lot of witches.
  24. Way too long for his base to read. Their reading comprehension doesn't extend far past tweets.
