  1. Nope. He is already claiming the people investigating him committed treason. Sadly, the release of the report (or summary at this point) is merely the beginning of another dark chapter in our history. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
  2. It's astounding how dumb some people can be. General rule. If you are the President of the United State, Democrat or Republican, and the FBI has an active investigation into your actions, you will get a special council appointed if you fire the person in charge of that investigation. Every time. No ifs ands or buts. And that is a good thing. It is why our country is the envy of the world.
  3. We don't have a special council if Trump doesn't fire Comey and then go on TV and say he did it because of "the whole Russia thing". Period.
  4. Your statement was that the Dossier led to the FBI counter-intelligence investigation. In May of 2016, Poppodopolis got drunk and told an Australian diplomat that Russia had incriminating info on Clinton (before that was public), the diplomat told the Australian equivalent of the FBI about said conversation, they in turn informed the FBI who in turn opened up an investigation in July of 2016. Steele finished his dossier in December of 2016 and it was published in January of 2017, months after the FBI had opened their counter-intelligence investigation. Hope that clears it up. Poppodopolis yapping about the Russians started the investigation. Trump firing Comey, in part because of the Russia Investigation, led to the start of the Special Council Investigation. No investigation would have been a dereliction of duty. We can now sleep easier knowing that justice has been served/is being served to those who broke the law. And those who didn't have been cleared.
  5. Unless, of course, it's done in connection to a political campaign and not disclosed in financial filings.
  6. Almost like both are complicated issues, who woulda thunk it.
  7. I thought Kushner had this whole deal figured out?
  8. As a non lawyer. Where is the line on extortion? Seems like that would be a pretty run of the mill type of conjecture from a lawyer? Threatening PR, financial and legal trouble if there is not a settlement? Not defending Avenatti, dude seems like a grade A grifter, but genuinely curious on when lawyer tough talk turns to extortion.
  9. In this hypothetical, Assuming the govt. couldn't prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, I think the public would be more interested in wether you had conversations about diddling kids or if a kid diddler, let's call him M. Jackson, offered you kids to diddle. I agree that booger eating videos should be kept private. Unless of course booger eating in this case means something like money laundering or tax evasion, in that case it should be referred to the appropriate department for further investigation. Although, it would seem a logical next step in America's goal of proving the movie Idocracy prophetic, that a video of Trump eating his own boogers surfaces.
  10. Going to be interesting to see what Russia's next steps are in this quagmire. How good of friends are they with Iran and Syria now?
  11. "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......MOTHER, it's happening again, please spank me"
  12. Before we do that I need to download a couple thousand ummmm...... videos. Give me a couple days please.
  13. That's what is so maddening to me. Trump will say or tweet "1+1=3", the media (outside of Fox and OAN) will say "actually 1+1=2, it's irresponsible for anybody to say otherwise" and then Fox and OAN and Trump will pounce. "They are attacking the President! Enemy of the People". Crazy pills, I feel like I'm taking them.
  14. Fox News Money Managers: "Let's diversify your portfolio a bit, I'm things a third in an ammunition and LifeAlert basket, a third in MyPillow and the last third in lottery tickets, It's good to spread your savings around"
  15. My parents have become dumb as fuck. Facebook all day, FWFWFW email stuff. It's sad to watch. When I every so often try to correct them on a fake story, they just in unison "Ohh my gosh, you are SO liberal". "No mom and dad, I'm just trying to explain to you what a tariff is".
  16. Agreed to a certain extent. Mueller did come across that scenario and referred it to SDNY, see Micheal Cohen. Not sure what kind of light Hope Hicks is going to shed on Tax Evasion.
  17. I mean whatever. At this point, Mueller has everything he needs from Hope, et al in addition to people that the Intel Committees have probably never heard of. I know it makes for good fodder in the Russia investigation horse race, but we've got Beethoven finishing up his symphony, this is Maroon 5 playing around with auto-tune. Pardon my lack of excitement.
  18. I knew very little about Pete and had very little exposure to him prior to watching his CNN townhall a couple of weeks ago. The last time I remember going from 0-100 on my give-a-shit meter about a politician was after I watched Obama's 2004 DNC Keynote address. Since then, I've gone down the youtube rabbit hole watching his interview videos and am currently reading his book. He is my pick, not even close. Absolutely perfect politician in my book. Off the charts smarts, curious, practical, modest. Sadly, we are living in Idiocracy, so his chances are slim, and likely all we will be left with are right-wing twitter trolls tweeting memes about "Pete Butt Fucker".
  19. Uhh ohh, did a couple of blacks or browns find their way into Trump World Tower back in 2006?
  20. I hope Twitter goes scorched earth on this asshole. I hope they get the dream team 2.0 together and make his life a living hell. What a pussy ass snowflaky little bitch.
  21. The volume of the request doesn't change it's legality. It doesn't give them a legal "out" that they wouldn't have already had with executive privilege. It certainly gives them more of a political "out", as it looks like the dems are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. But lets be honest, Trump has a political out with his base regardless of the underlying facts or circumstances. If he said only real republicans stick forks into electrical sockets, 33% of this country would electrocute themselves with a grin on their face.
  22. It's OK Donald. Your supporters might not own or control important and influential companies. But I assure you, If you ever need a car wash in Alabama, that's gonna be on the house buddy.
  23. It would do wonders for unfunded liabilities. Would crush Fox New's ratings though.
  24. Healthcare is not finite. You can make more of it, if need be.
