One man's mental gymnastics is another man's joke. But, regardless of anything she did or was about to do, I blame the man. You should never hit a women. At least that's how I was raised.

Ya, I was at the Texans v. Cowboys game on Sunday night. It was like playing frogger trying to avoid violence leaving that game.

The Angry Mob!
It looks to me like her cat got startled and ran into the middle of the mob and she was trying to get it before it got hurt and then the Hitler youth guy punched her for no reason, or maybe he is just a dog guy.

The Angry Mob!
How do you know? What was she doing prior to this video that warranted a dude punching her in the face?

I agree that he has shown himself to be a lair on multiple fronts. But nearly impossible to definitively prove any of those were lies. We're not going to have a senate investigation into what "boofing" and "devils triangle" means. And the Dr. Ford stuff, which for the record I 100% believe her, is not going to have some treasure trove of corroborating evidence appear 35 years later. The Pryor nomination and Lehey's stolen emails he has enough plausible deniability, "I meant I wasn't the lead guy in charge of Pryor" "I was never informed the emails were stolen", etc, etc. Is he a perpetual liar? Absolutely. Are any of the individual lies blatant enough to have an impeachment investigation that has a likely chance of success? Not in my opinion.

A POTUS is a politician a Justice is not. So impeaching a president would not be as consequential as impeaching a justice, IMHO, purely on the basis that if you do it to a Justice, you officially drag the Justices square into the political sphere while a president already lives there. I just think it would lead to a perpetual which hunt (pardon that term) for all justices forever. I just picture the Breitbarts of the world with non stop headlines "SOTOMAYOR'S HUSBANDS CONNECTED TO COLUMBIAN CARTEL FINANCIAL CHIEF" and Deven Nunes demanding an investigation. That could be the final nail in the coffin for our institutions. Now don't get me wrong, if it comes out that BK has committed verifiable crimes, then he should step down or be impeached. But, picking at how he paid his mortgage, seems too petty to raise a stink. And seeing that he went to Georgetown Prep and Yale, he probably paid for it the same way all of his classmates did, with his parents money. And re impeaching Donald, I would love it, but only if something ironclad comes out showing an impeachable offense, which I have yet to see. Hopeful Mueller brings the goods. If not, let's vote that fucker out in 2020.

I think it's time to move on from this one. I think it's terrible that BK was confirmed and thought it would have been better for all sides had they just replaced his nomination with anyone else from their list, but that did not happen. Impeaching a Supreme Court Justice is a TERRIBLE look for our country and on the political side of things would have terrible consequences for Democrats, while the impeachment fight itself would only do more damage to the reputation of the court in a time where, as a country, we can't afford any more erosion in confidence in our institutions. At the end of the day, elections have MAJOR consequences. Take all of the "impeach Kavanaugh" energy and channel into voting, getting your friends to vote and campaigning.

Those Soros paid protesters should have just taken the organic approach of the pro-Kavanaugh crowd. Wake up, grab an old t-shirt out of the closet, make a poster with your kid's arts and crafts supplies, fire up the ol' family bus and go let your voice be heard.

We don't discount the power. We just don't sit around and bitch about Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, the Mercers, etc who spend far greater sums of money for influence. We have enough facts on our side that we don't have to use a strawman boogeyman to make ourselves feel better when we see things we don't agree with.

Hard to ascertain each person's reasoning on why they would tell a pollster one thing and vote another way, but no doubt that happened to a much greater extent than seen before.

A lot of guesses. Here is a good summation. But a big reason is likely that people were embarrassed to admit they were voting for Trump when talking to another person. Trump did much better on anonymous online polls than he did on phone polls. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/31/upshot/a-2016-review-why-key-state-polls-were-wrong-about-trump.html

National polls were dead on. The poll you brushed off as "polls are fake news, see Trump lol" was a national poll. You are making a point about apples when we are talking about oranges. Catch up.

The Average for all the major national polls right before the election had Clinton +3.2, she won national vote by +2.1. Well within the margin of error.
