  1. All poor Joey down the street wanted to do was pick corn for $5/hr. but those damn Mexicans took his job. Now he has to work at Amazon and make $15/hr. Poor Joey.
  2. Don't burn your church down like you did your Nikes and coffee maker. You can't enlighten my liberal cabal from inside a jail cell.
  3. Jesus was also very angry with the wealthy going as far to say that a camel had a better chance of passing through the eye of the needle than a wealthy man does of entering the kingdom of heaven. When the right gets angry at the left for vilifying the 1%, keep in mind it was your boy Jesus who was the OG on that topic.
  4. Not a big fan of Laissez-fair capitalism I take it?
  5. I agree that attacking the "I never blacked out" claim is a dumb hill to die on, as you can literally never prove it. I've got buddies who are fully functional at night who the next day don't remember shit and I've got buddies who can barely walk who remember everything, everybody is different. If you are going to go after Kavanaugh for lying to the Senate, it is much easier to go after the multiple more provable lies. Like the meaning of Devils Triangle and Boofing, which we all know what those mean. And also when he became aware of the Ramirez allegation. And of course, the biggest lie, that he did not sexually assault Dr. Ford. Which is what this is all about, your strawman articles about strawmen aside.
  6. Laughable for people to think they have any clue as to what Trump will do next, Trump doesn't even know.
  7. I don't doubt that Democrats are happy about Ford coming forward if it in someway can thwart Kavanaugh's confirmation, all sympathies for Dr. Ford aside, it's a political "win" in today's team sport politics. BUT a logical person cannot deduce that their desire to block Kavanaugh in way, shape or form takes away from Dr. Ford's credibility. For one, Dr. Ford reached out to her local representative with her allegations towards Kavanaugh when he was merely on the short list, prior to his nomination. In her testimony, she stated she did it at this time in the hopes that it would get to the White House so they would pick one of the other conservative judges, which obviously did not happen. The whole notion that the Dems put Ford up to this to block Kavanaugh is such BS. If they did, then they have been planning this for six years. Even if the Republicans block Kavanaugh's nomination (the Democrats do not have the votes to block anything, simple math), they can still shove Amy Coney Barrett onto the court before January and still have the same success in overturning Roe v. Wade, putting prayer back in school, etc. etc.
  8. Just when you think it can't get any worse. Trump is now sending out robo texts. Fuck my life.
  9. Out of curiosity, what did his kids have to say about it?
  10. Apparently those don't work anymore, according to my republican friends.
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong here and cut me some slack, but under this same logic, if a girl is raped by a guy and that same girl at some point in her life also has consensual sex with a different guy, then we should logically conclude that the rape was never possible because of said girls willingness to have consensual sex at another point in her life?
  12. Well for sure, no doubt, if not for those damn bone spurs.
  13. Flake will say that Kavanaugh gets a pass because of the stress he was under due to the false allegations, assuming the FBI cannot corroborate anything. Flake walks and talks like he has a backbone right up until it's time to vote on something. He will vote yes, with a sad face.
  14. Your smarts and intellectual honesty are too much for our libtard pea-brains to handle.
  15. The second Mitch has the votes. Whatever date that second falls on. So could be the end of the week, could be never.
  16. So American consumers are going to be left holding the bag as the price of goods will shoot up? Capitalism and price discovery be damned.
  17. I wish more and more people would think for themselves these days, I would certainly agree with Kanye on that take. The problem with Kanye, is what he thinks is nuts. I don't think he is going to win over many people with his desire to repeal the 13th amendment.
  18. The women of the nation won by believing they are not powerless in the face of sexual assault, and by not having to stare at 2 men credibly accused of sexual assault every time they see the justices. GOP still wins as Barrett will be nearly identical in Kavanaugh in her opinions. Roe V. Wade will be neutered, corporations will be extolled, the executive branch power will go unchecked, etc. etc. If the GOP is lucky they might even roll back rights for those gays. All in all, I'd say it's a win win or a lose lose depending on how you view that half empty/full glass.
  19. If, after witnessing all of that, all you've got is "who paid for the polygraph", which is like $500, then you are drawing at fucking straws. ESPECIALLY after her summa cum laude Harvard lawyer said he paid for it and does not need reimbursement. Lindsey Graham might be losing it quicker than Trump, and that is saying something.
